Beyoncé - "Schoolin' Life"

As part of their divorce settlement, The-Dream previously agreed to pay Milian a significant amount, including 10 percent of his publishing stake in the Biebs’ 2010 hit single “Baby,” which he co-wrote with her.
According to TMZ, the “Love King” is not happy because Milian is demanding more money, including a larger percentage of the song’s earnings.
Since her attempt to renegotiate, The-Dream is trying to stop any payments to his ex, which Milian is fighting.
The former Mrs. Nash is making a concerted effort to leave the past behind, including the dress she wore during her wedding to The-Dream in Rome. “I’m cleaning house and need to get rid of my wedding dress I wore in Rome. What do you guys think I should do with it?ebay? Know of options?” she asked her Twitter followers before deciding to donate the gown.

Say It Cover It: Christina Milian Talks The-Dream On Latina Magazine
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 3:05 PMThe 29-year-old opens up to Latina magazine about the cheating scandal that rocked her world. “I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it,” she said after pics surfaced online of her former husband getting close with his personal assistant.
But she still tried to make things work. “No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”
She also shares how the breakup helped her become more self-aware and resilient in dealing with heartache. “I learned a lot about myself this year,” she explained. “I learned what I can handle. I learned how much I can take. I learned who I am and what I will accept for myself and my daughter.”
Describing herself as feeling “brand new,” the Cuban-American songstress gushed about how much she loves being a mom to daughter Violet, and how it’s changed her life in unexpected ways. “Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before,” she said. “There’s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Being a mom is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Her newfound confidence comes in the wake of her divorce from The-Dream, who she married in September 2009 after becoming pregnant with his child. They announced their separation last summer.

Christina Milian “25 Days of Christmas” at Rock Center Café
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 4:39 AMChristina promises that her oft-delayed fourth album, previously titled Elope, will arrive next year. “I think I always say that, but this time I mean it,” she said. “I just had to find some time to revamp and regroup everything for what this new album’s gonna be. It’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be sexy, it’s gonna be everything that embodies what has happened in my life, but of course in the most fun manner.”

She explained: "It was called Elope, but I'm going to have to change it. That was my life in 2009. I have a new attitude now. I'm a whole new girl -- a new woman.
"I'll probably use a little bit of my material from before, because I still do love some of the songs. Some got leaked onto the Internet. But a good majority will be different."
The 29-year-old beauty may feel like a "new woman" but she has no interest in returning to the dating scene because she is so busy raising Violet.
She told gossip website PopEater: "I'm not interested. It's understandable. I want to protect my daughter; everything in my daughter's interests now. I need a break from dating. I need a really big break.
"When I got into a relationship, I always think long term. I always think forever. And I'm not really ready for that. I'm enjoying her so much that I don't have time for anything else when I'm not working."

Christina's attorney Randy Kessler told gossip website TMZ: "Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court."
Although the terms of the settlement are being kept confidential, lawyers for each are expected to submit the paperwork to a judge in Fulton County, Georgia in the near future.
The pair have admitted their marriage was over within a few months of their wedding and The Dream served divorce papers against Christina nine days before she gave birth to their daughter, Violet.
The 32-year-old producer claimed his marriage was "irretrievably broken" in the papers, which were filed on February 17.
The singer gave birth to Violet just over a week later on February 26.
The couple only announced their decision to split after The Dream was spotted canoodling on the beach with another woman.
His spokesperson said at the time: "Terius 'The Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward."

Christina (who looks SMOKING HOT by the way!) is going through her divorce from producer/singer The Dream while Serena is dealing with her break-up from rapper Common, so we’re sure both of the ladies had a lot to talk about as they enjoyed their meal.

According to TMZ, the “Dip It Low” singer claims that the father of her child not only lied about the status of their relationship, but also cheated on her.
Despite The-Dream publicly announcing the end of their marriage, Milian insists it was quite the contrary and that the two even had “marital relations on numerous occasions” after the paperwork was filed.
If the court does grant the divorce, Milian wants it to be for reasons other than that their marriage was “irretrievably broken,” instead claiming that The-Dream was cheating on her.
In her legal response, filed last week in Georgia, Milian admits that she signed an agreement with The-Dream that waived alimony or ownership rights to each other’s property. However, she maintains that she was in no state to sign such documents because they were brought to her when she was nine months pregnant.

Christina Milian & The-Dream Secretly Separated in February
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 1:24 PMThe-Dream filed paperwork in Georgia on February 17, claiming the marriage was “irretrievably broken,” reports TMZ. In the divorce documents, The-Dream declares, “There is no hope for reconciliation.”
The “Single Ladies” songwriter announced his separation from Milian earlier this month, saying they had been separated since last year. “The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet,” his rep told UsMagazine.com. “They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”
Milian and The-Dream wed on September 4, 2009, and welcomed their only child Violet on February 26. Despite the break up, Milian has been seen wearing her wedding ring in public.

The-Dream is singing a different tune. The singer-songwriter has written an open letter addressing his separation from the mother of his daughter, Christina Milian. He blames the failed marriage on himself, saying he and his wife of less than a year grew apart for reasons other than him being with another woman. After apologizing for causing embarrassment to everyone involved, he reveals that he even contemplated taking his own life at one point. Read what he had to say below.
In My Own Words:
First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can’t know purpose!
I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina. Its easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT.
I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that! There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing. Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone’s feelings, I carried the weight in secret!
I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life. Nothing’s promised or perfect, neither am I. I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE! I’ve always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself. My faults are I can be irresponsible and an ass sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child. I’m sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved! If there’s anyone to blame and you can’t fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront! Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!
This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people! I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.
But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not “Superman” and its okay to lose sometimes…
This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!

Congratulations to Christina Milian! The singer gave birth to a baby girl on Friday, and both mother and daughter are said to be doing well.
Milian and The Dream tied the knot last September, and they named the newest addition to their family Violet. Pals say the tot already has "a full head of hair."
Despite only being a few days old, Violet already has her own car. The Dream bought the extravagant gift before Violet was born, and he said he couldn’t wait to meet his new daughter and shower her with love.
The musician (real name Terius Nash) said: "The baby already has a car, I got a house just for the baby -- Christina can't get in the baby's car. I'm giving all my attention that I usually give to Christina to the baby, all the flowers I usually give Christina, I'm giving them to the baby."
Christina recently admitted she was worried about the labor. She said: "I am nervous about giving birth to the baby. That's probably the most nerve-wracking part of it all. Every day I wonder, 'What happens if she comes earlier than expected?'"

Confirmed: Christina Milian & The Dream Are Married & Expecting 1st Child
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 11:42 AM![]()
Christina Milian is pregnant with her first child, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.
The singer, 27, wed music producer The-Dream, 27, on Sept. 4 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Us first reported their engagement two months ago.
The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless," a source tells Us.
Milian has already been talking about children.
"Of course, I would love to have kids," she told Us earlier this summer at the premiere of Bring It On: Fight to the Finish in NYC. "I think that's some of the reasons why I do movies like this."
Even The-Dream (real name: Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash) -- who proposed to Milian with a six-carat sparkler from Ivanka Trump's jewelry line -- has been talking about a family.
"I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do," he told Us in July. "She'll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around."
