While Variety has confirmed that Janet Jackson is the first cast member to sign on for the sequel 'Why Did I Get Married Too,' Didntinviteme has learned that her other co-stars (Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Malik Yoba, Tyler Perry and Richard T. Jones) will be returning to the film as well. The only one not involved in the production is Denise Boutte, who played Scott's friend in the film. The movie is set for release on April 2, 2010, the start of next year's Easter weekend. The first flick, 'Why Did I Get Married?,' which was based on Perry's stage play, grossed $55 million domestically.

Tyler Perry, who is currently working on Janet’s upcoming movie, Why Did I Get Married Too, has said he is “on no schedule” and will give Janet all the time she needs to come to terms with her brother Michael’s death.

Speaking at the Atlanta Urban League “Spirit of the League” awards luncheon where he was receiving an award, Perry said that Janet will be accommodated “fully and completely, according to whatever she needs.”

He added that Janet’s role in the movie will see her take on “a lot of heavy stuff to play and a lot of demands on her character [therapist and author Patricia Agnew].”

“At this point, I’m on no set schedule,” Perry said. “She’s an amazingly talented woman. I have no doubt, she’ll be up for [the acting challenges in the script].”

“Shooting the first film, there was a bond that formed between all of us,” Perry explained. “Even after the shoot, we’ve kept up with each other and we continue to talk.”

He added: “Janet will have all the love and support we can give her. That’s first and foremost.”

Get ready to laugh out loud. In speaking with director Melvin James recently, he mentioned to Blackvoices that his next film is going to be 'Still A Teen', a coming-of-age comedy about four guys fresh out of high school and their pre-occupation with music video models.

Among the lovely ladies in the film will be Buffie the Body and Rabbit from VH1's Real Chance of Love (Jessica Rich).

'Still A Teen' is a comedy about their misguided plan to make their wildest dreams come true with these ladies in one testosterone-driven weekend. It's said that most nineteen year old guys think about the girls of their dreams at least once every three minutes, but that doesn't even begin to explain the obsession of four best friends and recent high school graduates in an affluent New York suburb. Brett and his three friends Billy, Stew, and Josh are thoroughly obsessed with video vixens.

They live and breathe to watch the hottest urban models grace the screen of their favorite hip-hop & rock and roll videos. A fact that becomes brought to life when they decide that the only thing better than obsessing over these women through the television tube and their favorite magazines is to actually meet them in person.

So they come up with an elaborate scheme that involves kidnapping a famous rapper, breaking into a mansion for a weekend, shooting their own music video, and turning their quiet neighborhood upside down. 'Still A Teen' features the hottest music video and urban magazine models in the game today. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what's about to happen in this small New York suburb will be the talk of the town.

Also featured in the film will be Rosa Acosta, Mia Michelle, Lia Cha, Diana Dotel, Dawn Toledo, and Beverly Sade to name a few.

Filming on the comedy begins next month.

Following that, James plans to film 'Caramel' with Lauren London, Letoya Luckett, Kyla Pratt, Chingy, Cherish, and Meagan Good.
