T-Pain’s love affair with Ke$ha continues. The Auto-Tune King is working on a collaboration with the pop starlet.


“I am going to be in the studio with Ke$ha. She’s overseas right now, but when she comes back, it’s definitely on,” Teddy P. told Ryan Seacrest. “I got a song I’m working on right now with her and Pitbull, so it’s gonna be pretty dope.”

The odd couple, who dubbed themselves “K-Pain,” was spotted together at a strip club in Las Vegas after meeting at a radio station concert in May. “I’m not saying @keshasuxx and i had sex or anything I’m just sayin I love that ‘fuck everybody else’ attitude,” he previously tweeted. “She dresses how she wants she performs the way she wants, she does HER.”

It is not known where the song will appear, but it could end up on T-Pain’s new album rEVOLVEr, which has spawned the singles “Best Love Song” featuring Chris Brown and “Booty Wurk (One Cheek at a Time).”

Wango Tango performers Ke$ha and T-Pain have appointed themselves as the new celebrity power couple: K-Pain. The two were engaged in a Twitter back-and-forth, culminating in the above photo taken of a the rapper nursing a bottle of Hennessey and K-Dolla hugging a massive amount of one dollar bills as they give one another an Eskimo kiss. T-Pain brings the club to his fans with his latest track “Booty Work (One Cheek at a Time),” released as a giveaway via Twitter. The club banger, produced by Young Fyre, encourages all the ladies to shake their derrieres to the horn-laced beat. “Black car, black rims, black shirt, black Tims/ Holy moly, look at her/ She got the boots with the fur,” raps Teddy P. on the song, which also features Joey Galaxy. Snoop Dogg goes “Boom” in the Dylan Brown-directed video for his second single from the Doggumentary featuring T-Pain. The post-apocalyptic clip imagines a world where clubs and parties are forced into the underground, where attendees must scan their hands to gain entry to the elite locations. The duo gets access after speaking to the club mistress, taking over the industrial space to rock to the ’80s anthem. Watch their futuristic odyssey.

T-Pain took to Twitter last night, liberating a couple tracks from his upcoming album rEVOLVEr, including “Bes Luv Song” and “Separated.” He also delivered a message to those who are leaking unfinished versions of his records.

“Since nobody wants to respect this form of art that you all say we ‘love’ so much, I’m just gonna go ahead and start leakin the album myself tonight,” he tweeted. “well maybe I shouldn’t rant but everybody was lookin at me strange when I said I didn’t wanna drop my album, it’s not that album sales weren’t doin good for hip hop and rnb, it just felt like no one respected ‘music’ anymore.”

On one of the finished records he released called “Bes Luv Song,” the Nappy Boy reteams with his “Kiss Kiss” collaborator Chris Brown to make another Auto-Tuned cut ripe for the dance floor. “It’s gotta be the crunkest, gotta be the loudest/ It’s gotta be the bes love song she’s ever heard in her life,” they sing.

Jay-Z isn’t the only one who’s not a fan of Auto-Tune. Actress Kate Beckinsale joked about the vocal-enhancing technique during her appearance on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” on Tuesday.


“I can’t understand why all the music sounds like someone’s singing into a saucepan all the time,” she told O’Brien. “T-Pain is singing into a saucepan and Kanye West is always in a pan.”

Beckinsale said Auto-Tune gives anyone the ability to sing. “If you don’t sing, you can sound like Nixon. A pan works for everything.”

T-Pain, his “Big Ass Chain,” and Taylor Swift filmed a segment for the 2009 Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards in Nashville, Tenn., on Tuesday. The Auto-Tune King and country star collaborated on a song together.

“Yes, I was in the studio with Taylor Swift yesterday and we shot the video to the song today. No B.S.,” he tweeted.

T-Pain honored Dolla by painting his image on the hood of his 1972 Chevy Chevelle. Both artists were signed to Jive Records and collaborated on Dolla’s single “Who the F**k Is That?”

The late 21-year-old rapper, who T-Pain called one of his best friends, was gunned down at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles last month.

“Showin my respects for my dog r.i.p. On the 72 chevy chevelle,” T-Pain tweeted.

Lil’ Kim is a cyber freak in her new video for “Download” featuring T-Pain and Charlie Wilson. The cover of Zapp & Roger’s “Computer Love” was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Rage.

T-Pain has been hurt after a golf-cart accident in Texas.


Sources tell Rap-Up.com that the 23-year-old singer, born Faheem Najm, was in an accident involving his golf cart earlier this week in San Antonio. T-Pain reportedly lost four teeth and received abrasions and bruises to his face. He will have to undergo surgery.

As a result, he was a no-show on the I Am Music tour with Lil Wayne in San Jose, Calif., on Friday night. He will also miss his Los Angeles show on Sunday.

The “Can’t Believe It” hitmaker was subsequently forced to cancel his appearance in Lil’ Kim’s “Download” video, which was filmed Saturday in West Hollywood. He will be added to the video once he recovers.
