Peace & Love,

...by now I could have, ...by now I should have ... What a dangerous game that is. Could and Should have never whisked success into anyone's life. On the contrary, they've done the exact opposite. Could've & Should've put on their fancy party dresses and seduce one into believing that by pondering on a could or a should they will become successful. Instead, the twins activate a downward spiraling frequency in people who have mistakenly put their trust in them.

We succeed because we try. You know the old adage, "if at first you don't succeed, brush yourself off and try again." ...well actually, we are going to add, "try again and again and again until you receive desired results. When you arrive at that point, you will better understand your recipe for success.

Could have and Should have are dingy outdated concepts which thrive on other people's perspectives about what you could or should be doing with your life. If you missed it, the operative word in the aforementioned sentence is your, as in your life. It's YOUR LIFE! You have unique talents and gifts that only you can deliver in such a magical way which only you can unfold. Your magnificent skills will be maximized once you allow others to stop "coulding" and "shoulding" on you. You do it! By your doing "the thing" you're activating "the power" inside of you as only you can.

"In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing is nothing." - President Theodore Roosevelt.

So, are you clear about what you want? Pray about it, write it out, get excited about it!!! Think about and act on your definite purpose daily. It is in the thinking and acting that your manifestation shows itself. We are not waiting for something to show up, instead, we are getting clear about our goals and clearing the path to reveal our manifestation. It's already here. What you are waiting for is here waiting for you to activate it. What are you waiting for? Are you going to activate it?

So, you have a choice, you can either could and should or you can be SUCCESSFUL. Your world is whatever YOU say it is. So what do you have to say? SAY IT.

EEOOWW!!!

In Love & Light,
Joy!

"...huh Officer? Oh, nah uh, I didn't know about that rule, foreals? I mean I saw you pick up your radio to notify your peops that you pulled me over so I had to notify mine. Why do I have to hang up the phone, I pay this bill. ...and WHO IS TRYING TO RUIN MY SOCIAL LIFE!!!!!!!!!!"

Whose idea was this hands free foolishness? It occurs to me that the most opportune time to talk on the phone in Southern CA is while driving. Why else would everything be so spread out if not for ideal phone usage? I know I am not the only one looking over my shoulder for 5 ' 0.

"Get a head set," they say. Well, it's not that easy. I don't want some device in or on my ear, it's hot. Plus, ear pieces are way too personal. Everything the other party says resonates in my spirit (and can they hear my thoughts?) LOL!

I guess hands free = ticket free.

On a lighter note... it's August!!! It feels like "Yaaay, the Wicked Witches are gone!" Yes Honey, because Ms. June & Ms. July did not play FAIR!!!!!!

Welcome to August, our season of "New Beginnings." Everything that we've been believing for is nearing the manifestation process. Remember, we give life to events through the way in which we use our words. So, speak to your situations and circumstances. Give power to the wonderful ideas and concepts you wish to come to pass and take back the power from negative things by telling them that they have no power and then stop thinking about them. Period. It will work out however it works out, it has always worked out. You don't have to be stressed out in the process. Only give life to those things that you desire to see.

Laughter is food for the soul. I wish you all wellness, peace & joy.

Remember, speak to the beautiful things that you wish to see. Just remember, if you're driving... be hands free.

I'm glad to have the pleasure to introduce a good friend of mine, who is now an columnist for my website, Ms. Joy Hallman. Make sure you check out her column that will be posted here every week and be sure to add some "Joy To Your Life""

Peace & Love,

Living in HollyWEIRD can sometimes take its toll on those of us who work in the wonderful world of Entertainment. How do you handle it when Auditions / Jobs that you seemingly believed you've had "in the pocket" somehow slip out of your range? What about when people that you are sure you can rely on give you the 52 fake out and you suddenly realize you are alone...

People say that we are crazy to stay in a business like this. But we know and live by the old adage, "There's NO Business like Show Business!" Most of us have a calling for this Industry. It chose us, not the other way around.

Artists / Entertainers face more rejection in one year than most human beings do in a lifetime. We are willing to give our lives to the adrenaline of "that" 8 count, to deliver "that" line perfectly, to paint "that" canvas exactly as we choose it to be. In those precious moments, we've entered into our Sacred Space. It is in those moments, we sometimes feel as connected to the world and or as close to God as one could ever feel.

So I am blogging this column, "Add some joy to your life," to let you know that you ARE worthy!!! You are special!!!! Your talent is amazing!!!! ...and more so than anything, I want you to know that you are not alone. Even in your darkest hour, you are not alone. Separation is an illusion! What is for you is for you and you only. No man can close doors that Spirit has opened for you. "You will succeed, 99 and 1/8th's Guaranteed!" - Dr. Suess.

So, go ahead, sort out your thoughts about how those situations made you feel and then release them. Forgive yourself for feeling as though you've done anything wrong and forgive those around you. I know it's not easy but other opportunities and people will come. They will show up as if by magic.

So, maybe we are a little nutty for staying in the business, but even the mighty Oak Tree was once a nut like you.
