Right after the sitting court-side for the Knicks Rihanna went to get herself some ink! She hit up her favorite tattoo parlor East Side Ink in NYC to get another tat done by her favorite tattoo artist, Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy. Here is what he had to say about Rihanna’s new tat:
“She came in at about 2:00 A.M., she told me in advance she’d be coming, and then when she got there, she told me what she wanted: ‘Never a failure, always a lesson,’ but written backwards.” Bang Bang continues, “I asked her why she wanted that and she said, ‘It’s kind of my motto in life for everything.’ Instead of considering things to be mistakes, considering them lessons.”
“She said that she wanted to do it in gray, rather than black, because she wanted it to be more subtle,” explains Bang Bang. “She didn’t want it to draw too much attention.”
He explains that RiRi, who he says is “doing great,” wanted the phrase done in mirror writing so she would be able to read it in the mirror.
The world’s largest music retailer, iTunes, has released its year-end list of the best-selling music of 2009. Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas ruled the digital charts, scoring some of the most-downloaded songs and albums. “It was wack. I’ll keep it a hundred. The BET Awards was horrible. I was watching it, holding my face like, ‘Oh my God this is wack’. I didn’t get it. Michael Jackson was such a big entertainer. And I’m not dissing any of the artists who did the songs. But I was expecting a lot more energy for Michael. And BET Awards usually comes hard. I was expecting them to have Usher, Omarion and even Justin. And I was expecting Ne-Yo to dance. They were so bent on not getting me there that they messed up their own show.”
The actress broke off her to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad "Arki" Busson on Nov. 15. "The engagement ended awhile back – almost two months ago," says a source. "They remain friends."
The couple began dating in the summer of 2007, and one year later, Busson proposed with an 8-plus carat engagement ring. Just don't expect to see that ring on Thurman's finger anytime soon. "She will probably give it back," says the source. "She wants to return everything that is his."
A rep for the actress had no comment.
Perhaps their long-distance love affair was a factor. In September, Thurman, 39, admitted she wasn't planning to marry her London-based fiancé anytime soon. "I'm happily engaged but we haven’t set a wedding up," she told W magazine. "I'm not in a rush to do anything. One day we'll do it, when we're ready. We can't live anywhere else because my children's father lives here. We'll figure it out."
Apparently, Busson is "beside himself" that they weren't able to figure things out.
The businessman has two sons with his former flame, supermodel Elle MacPherson, and Thurman has a son and daughter with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
According to Health Central Hospital spokesman Dan Yates, Holmberg, 57, left the facility around 2 p.m. in a wheelchair, which is standard procedure in most hospitals. He said she was back at Woods's home.
Holmberg, a politician in Sweden, was taken to the Ocoee, Fla., hospital after a at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, and was admitted after complaining of . Around midday, her daughter and Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, arrived at the hospital with a bag.
Nordegren is one of Holmberg's three children with her former husband, journalist Thomas Nordegren. Holmberg, a member of the Social Democratic party, served as minister of migration and asylum from 2003 to 2006.

Breaking News: Woman Rushed to Hospital from Tiger Woods's Home

A woman was taken from Tiger Woods's multimillion-dollar Florida home "on advanced life support" after firefighters received a call at 2:36 a.m. Tuesday, reports local station WESH-TV.
Witnesses told the NBC affiliate station, which aired footage of what appeared to be a blond woman receiving oxygen as she was carried away on a stretcher, that an ambulance transported the patient to Health Central Hospital.
There were also reports on Monday, unconfirmed, that Woods's wife, Elin Nordegren, had moved out of the couple's home into a nearby house.

“I’m really enjoying Drake and I enjoy [Lady] Gaga too,” she said of her current favorites. She also mentioned that she was looking forward to seeing Shakira perform over the weekend at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball in London.
Lady Gaga is used to singing in front of queens, but the pop star performed in front of the real Queen during the Royal Variety Performance at Blackpool’s Opera House on Monday (Dec. 7). Gaga, dressed in red latex with a 20-foot-long cloak and Elizabethan-style collar, greeted Queen Elizabeth II with a handshake and curtsy. She performed “Speechless” while seated at a piano suspended in mid-air on stilts.
“Good evening, Blackpool. Let me hear you rattle your jewelry,” she told the audience. “My father is here tonight and I wrote this song for him. It’s called ‘Speechless.’”

“Solider of Love” will serve as Sade’s highly anticipated first single off her upcoming album of the same name. Co-produced by the legend herself and written by long time collaborators Andrew Hale, Stuary Mathhewman and Paul Spencer Denman, the track is said to feature “pulsating and anthemic drum beat along with the haunting vocals that Sade is known for”.
The single is due to hit radio on December 8th (tomorrow!). Sade’s album Solider of Love will hit stores February 8th 2010.

Janet Jackson promoted her greatest hits album Number Ones overseas in the U.K. The pop icon received a standing ovation from the judges when she performed “All for You” and “Make Me” on “The X Factor” on Sunday (Dec. 6).
Rihanna made her “Saturday Night Live” debut over the weekend, performing “Russian Roulette” and “Hard” with Young Jeezy. The fashionista also participated in an “SNL Digital Short” with funnyman Andy Samberg, who dueted with RiRi as the rapping Shy Ronnie.

FIRST LOOK: Nicolas Cage Makes Magic in The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Fans of Fantasia will remember the animated version of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, but next July Nicolas Cage is bringing it to the screen in live action.
The actor plays a wizard who empowers his apprentice (played by Jake Cherry) as a boy and, later, Jay Baruchel as a young adult.
"He's more like a rock star," producer Jerry Bruckheimer tells PEOPLE about the film, due in theaters July 10. Like the animated version, this Sorcerer's Apprentice will also feature those dancing brooms. "We did it in a realistic way," Bruckheimer says. "The [brooms] are really dancing and doing their thing."

Her sense of humor may have survived the little fall she took at this year's American Music Awards, but Jennifer Lopez still has a sore derriere from the slip.
"I have a bruised bone," she tells Ellen DeGeneres for an episode of the talk show to air Thursday. "What happened was one of the dancers' backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything. We never bargained for that because they always had T-shirts on in rehearsal.
"So they were barebacked, didn't have shirts on for the performance, and when I stepped on their backs my feet got wet. So when I landed. it just slipped from under me."
But Lopez, 40, credits her quick recovery to the excitement of the moment. "That's kind what I felt the rest of the performance: Did I fall? It happened so fast," she says. "I was up and all I could think was, I have to get the next beat. I have to do this dance solo right now. I had no time to think about it."
Only afterward did she realize what had happened.
"Then I get to the back, and one the dancers was like, 'Are you OK?' Oh my god that's right, I fell," she says. "It was awful, but, you know, it happened."
The Internet has been abuzz with rumors that Pleasure P was convicted of child molestation in 2006. The former Pretty Ricky member has issued a statement via his attorney, calling the accusations “disgusting and vile.”
“All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100% false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas. The purported documents that are also being circulated are forgeries. I have never met or known anyone by the name of ‘AGoldstein’ or Laura Goldstein or Ashley Goldstein, which I believe are fictitious names. I have never been represented by an attorney named Goldstein. For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal. My attorneys are investigating this matter and will take all necessary and appropriate action to protect my name and reputation.”
The R&B singer, born Marcus Cooper, was nominated in three categories at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Contemporary R&B Album.
Alicia Keys speaks about working with the other Carter on “Put It in a Love Song,” their collaboration from The Element of Freedom (Dec. 15).
Alicia and Beyoncé actually recorded the song together in the studio. “Working with Bey was very fantastic and the song that we have together is very crazy,” the “Superwoman” tells BET. “We just had a party in the studio. It was such a genuine energy. We just clicked. It was unforgettable.”
The-Dream’s sophomore album became an instant favorite among R&B fans when it was released earlier this year, but it was noticeably absent from the nominations for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The hitmaker is not holding back his anger over the shutout.
Love vs. Money was released in March and went on to produce the hit singles “Rockin’ That Thang,” “My Love,” and “Walkin’ on the Moon.” But the man who scored songwriting nods for Beyoncé’s Song of the Year-nominated “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” is not pleased about being left out of all Grammy categories for the second year in a row (His debut album Lovehate was also excluded). He took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.
