During her recent trip to Africa, Ciara paid homage to one of her inspirations, Michael Jackson. The 25-year-old dancing machine performed the King of Pop’s iconic moves during “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” and “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” before going into her hit “Love Sex Magic.”

CiCi, who is currently on the Malibu Rum Station Invasion Concert Tour, previously expressed her love for MJ. “It’s important for me to share with my generation the importance of Michael and what he was to music because to me there will never ever be another Michael,” “He’s as big as big gets.”

Ciara Harris smiles for the camera while playing in the South Beach waves with a friend. Ciara arrived in Miami Beach with a group of friends to play in the water sporting a pink string bikini decorated with sequins.

Ciara made a splash in Miami on the first stop of the Station Invasion Concert Tour, presented by Radio Maliboom Boom. Created and hosted by Malibu Rum, the 10-city tour features Taio Cruz and CiCi, who will headline seven of the 10 cities including Boston, New York, Dallas, and Chicago throughout the summer.

Before taking the stage in all white with her troupe of dancers, the sexy singer showed off her ombré highlights and posed for pics on the red carpet with DJ Scribble and Carnivale dancers. Ciara, who is reportedly making the move to Epic with L.A. Reid, turned up the heat at the Caribbean-themed concert with hits including “Promise,” “Ride,” and “Goodies.”

“Thank you guys for coming out and celebrating with me,” she told fans before heading to the after-party. “Enjoy yourself, party, drink away, but drink safely.”

Antonio “L.A.” Reid quietly began his new job as head of Epic Label Group earlier this month. The music mogul is assembling his roster of talent, which may include Ciara and Usher.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ciara will reunite with her former boss at his new venture at Sony. She asked to be released from her contract with Jive earlier this year after the underwhelming performance of her latest album Basic Instinct.

Another one of Reid’s discoveries, Usher, may also be making the shift from Jive to the restructured Epic. Reid was instrumental in launching the R&B phenom’s career 17 years ago.

Additionally, there is chatter that the 55-year-old executive is trying to bring Mariah Carey to Sony from her current home at Island Def Jam. She released her comeback album The Emancipation of Mimi under Reid’s watch and was previously signed to Columbia Records.

Another diva, Jennifer Lopez, may also return to Epic with the “X Factor” judge. She left the label last year to join Reid at Island Def Jam, where she released her album LOVE? and scored the chart-topping hit “On the Floor.”

Ciara showed off her best moves on The CW’s cheerleading series “Hellcats,” guest starring as herself as she judged a dance competition between two of the characters. CiCi, once a cheerleader herself, performed “Gimmie Dat” in the Debbie Allen-directed episode “Land of 1,000 Dances.”

“Coming from my world when it comes to shooting music videos and doing all the dancing and stuff, it’s fun, but it’s almost like you get even more excited because it’s kind of a very lightweight, small way of collaborating,” she told Zap2it. “So it’s almost like I got a chance to collaborate with Debbie Allen, and that felt really special to me.”

Ciara stepped out with her new beau Amar’e Stoudemire of the New York Knicks at the Candie’s Foundation Event to Prevent benefit gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The hot couple didn’t shy away from the cameras, smiling as they posed together. Inside, Bruno Mars performed along with the legendary Aretha Franklin.

CiCi, who got dolled up in a short white dress, was honored for her work to help create awareness for teen pregnancy prevention, appearing earlier in the day in Times Square with YouTube star Keenan Cahill.

What do you think of the new couple? Peep the pics and let us know.

Ester Dean has penned tracks for everyone from Rihanna and Nicki Minaj to Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, but her songs don’t always end up where they’re supposed to. Her 2009 solo smash, “Drop It Low” featuring Chris Brown, was originally intended for another R&B songstress.

“‘Drop It Low,’ honestly, was for Ciara, but she didn’t come get the song. And then Britney [Spears] wanted it,” the hitmaker told the Los Angeles Times. “During the demo [Polow Da Don] kept telling me, ‘You’ve gotta believe it’ as I was singing it. A week later he asked if I wanted to hear my new single.”

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter is parlaying the single’s success into her upcoming debut, with songs like the Euro-flavored “Gimme Money” and pop ballad “Hero” already in the can. But if another artist happens to come along and like what she’s got, she isn’t averse to passing off a hit.

“Look, these songs are for me, but I ain’t stupid,” she explained. “If somebody wants them, they can have them.”

Dean is currently seeing success on the chart with songwriting credits on Rihanna’s “S&M” and “What’s My Name?” as well as Katy Perry’s “Firework.”

R&B quartet Mindless Behavior gets caught up in young love in the remix video for “My Girl,” the first single from their forthcoming debut #1 Girl. Thirteen year olds Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray, and Princeton team up with Ciara and Young Money’s Tyga and Lil Twist as they show off their dance moves in an abandoned warehouse.

“They’re naturally stars,” Ciara said of the group, who was discovered by Vincent Herbert (Lady Gaga). “Their personality just shines without them doing anything, so I would tell them to keep being themselves and live in this moment, enjoy it, and be kind to the ladies too.”

The divas duked it out on Friday night as Ciara and Rihanna got into a feisty Twitter exchange that had the Internet buzzing.

CiCi appeared as a guest judge on E!’s “Fashion Police” earlier in the evening. When a photo of Rihanna at the BRIT Awards was shown on screen, she commented, “I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn’t the nicest and it’s crazy because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done with fashion. I’ve ran into her before, but this time it wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”

Host Joan Rivers chimed in by saying, “A bitch!” before Ciara told her with a laugh, “You crazy.”

Rihanna was tuned in to the television because she responded on Twitter shortly after the episode aired. “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme,” she wrote before Ciara shot back, “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.”

“U gangsta huh? Haaa,” laughed the “S&M” singer. “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”

But the ladies settled their differences soon after. “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup,” said RiRi.

Ciara agreed to put it behind them, telling her peer, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.”

A white-hot Ciara stepped into the role of fashion cop to tape an episode of E!’s “Fashion Police.” CiCi will critique red carpet fashions alongside comedienne Joan Rivers and style guru George Kotsiopoulos. Past celebrity guests include Nicki Minaj and Keri Hilson.

The soft-spoken singer had reservations about critiquing her peers’ style. “OMG! I cant believe i will be a guest on Fashion Police because i always have a hard time with judging!..whoo lordi! deep breath!” she tweeted, adding, “This should be fun!” The episode airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST.

Hold on tight. Ciara tore the roof off “Lopez Tonight” with another rousing performance of “Gimmie Dat” from her new album Basic Instinct. CiCi stormed the stage with her troupe of dancers before serenading the host. “I go to see George Lopez, he makes me want to dance, I want to have his babies,” she said in a sexy Latin accent.

Despite early predictions, Ciara is not worried about her album sales. “Selling records are becoming a smaller fraction of branding and building a long-lasting career,” she told the AP. “You can sell a lot of records, but can you tour? You can sell records, but where does it go beyond that? That’s a part of building a brand for yourself.”

Ciara was seen partying it up @ Drais to celebrate the release of her new album “Basic Instinct”. She was rocking a pair of Air Jordan 5 Retro Red suede sneakers ($138), which were released as part of the Raging Bull Pack.

Ciara's track listing for her fourth studio album, "Basic Instinct," is above. The album is led by the R&B hit, "Ride," and singles "Gimme Dat" and "Speechless." It is set to be an 11-track affair from the ATL singer, featuring appearances from Ludacris and Usher. The album is set for a December 14th release!

I know a few people may have wanted an extended track listing for the album but I'm actually glad that it's eleven tracks. I'm expecting it to be a killer, straight to the point album. Ciara held her listening party for the album yesterday as well and there were some great reviews of the album. I personally cannot wait to hear the album in full!

It was ladies’ night at the 5th Annual Black Girls Rock! Awards at the Paradise Theater in New York City’s Bronx borough on Saturday (Oct. 16). You might know Kim Burse from working with Beyoncé, Jamie Foxx, Ciara, Nelly, and Much More.
