Jason Derulo takes viewers behind the scenes of his video for “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” the lead single from his sophomore album Future History, due later this summer. The smooth operator shows off his fancy footwork inside an industrial warehouse, reclining on a couch with scantily-clad women as liquor bottles litter the floor.

“The inspiration behind ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ was simply all the pain, all the turmoil going on around the world, I wanted to write a song that was a pick-me-up,” Jason told MTV’s “The Seven.” “I wanted to make a song that would allow people to escape whatever they were going through.”

Check out all the action from the spooky set below.

50 Cent got hands on with Nicole Scherzinger on set of the video for “Right There,” the lead single from her U.S. debut Killer Love. Directed by Paul Hunter, the clip sees the labelmates getting down to the upbeat tune in the “concrete urban paradise” of downtown Los Angeles, with the former Pussycat Doll sharing her love for her co-star in between takes.

“50 has been a friend of mine. He did his thing on the song. I thought I was cool until 50 showed up and he was a little cooler,” laughed Nicole. “He brought the energy and the spirit. He’s 50 for a reason. He’s the real deal. So just being around him ups the game and it was a lot of fun.”

With a new album, Light Of The Sun, on the way, Jilly from Philly took it back to her roots and teamed with fellow Philly native Eve for the new single "Shame."

CNN recently caught up with Jill Scott on the set for her new single "Shame" with fellow Philly native Eve. The single represents a return to Jill's hip hop roots while the video itself represents something a bit more personal.

Shot at the Cecil B. Moore Recreation Center on the city's north side, this is the place where Jill spent her summers as a child and where she began to write poetry. What's special about the shoot is that Jill decided to do the video there after learning the center was on the city's list to be demolished. So Jill and her Blues Babe Foundation swooped in to save the day. Jill paid for a new roof, gym floor and basketball court.

The TAJ-directed clip, which features a cameo from Sean’s G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Kid Cudi, focuses on the struggle that each artist faced in coming from the bottom to the top.

“The whole concept of the video, it’s not just no regular party shit. We up in the hills. The song is a monumental song. It is a party record, but at the same time, it’s lettin’ people know we worked for this shit,” explained Sean. “We reflecting back on life. You’re gonna see a lot of scenes from how I was grinding to get here and that’s what a lot of people leave out. Then you’re gonna see how it is now, how we’re living now.”

With help from So You Think You Can Dance’s Tabitha and Napoleon D’Umo (who not only choreographed but directed the vid) we have no doubt that the dance-centric flick will deliver.
