Jessie J lines up a hit for the U.S. with the Dr. Luke-produced single “Domino.” The catchy dance-pop record (think Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night”) was not included on her original debut Who You Are. “Dirty dancing in the moonlight/ Take me down like I’m a domino,” sings Britain’s breakout star on the irresistible hook. Catch her performing it live on Katy Perry’s “California Dreams” tour this fall.

Jessie J gets the last laugh in the video for “Who’s Laughing Now,” the latest U.K. single off her debut Who You Are. In the tongue-in-cheek clip, the bobbed-haired singer reminisces on her days as an outcast in grade school when she was teased by the popular kids. But a young Jessie gets payback, wreaking havoc on the cafeteria and theater, and hosing the mean girls with a fire extinguisher.
The British chart topper, who will open for Katy Perry in the U.S. this fall, dresses up as different characters including a teacher, lunch lady, and janitor. Watch her rule the school.

“Price Tag” diva Jessie J hit the stage on Britain’s Got Talent last night and tore the roof off the joint with an energetic, big band-esque performance of her Who You Are track “Mama Knows Best.” Perhaps it was a bid to get Adele-leaning tween finalist Ronan Parke to belt out one of her songs, as well? Whatever the case, Jessie came across like a woman possessed by all that is sassy and soulful. Watch below!

It may not be about the money for stylish Brit songstress Jessie J, but she’s likely still making a pretty penny as a result of her recent exposure on so many late night shows (both here and overseas). The recent birthday girl continued her generous mission to make the world dance by appearing on The Late Late Show to sing “Price Tag” once more, assisted by her back-in-action bangs (after this brief hiatus). Get the catchy ditty stuck in your head one more time by watching the priceless performance below.

Video World Premiere: Jessie J Feat. B.O.B - "Price Tag"

Tired of all your old playthings? Here’s something new: UK starlet-on-the-rise Jessie J is a babe in Toyland in her “Price Tag” video, featuring B.o.B.. The bright, colorful, light-hearted vid features the sometime subway performer perched atop a music box, strung up as a marionette, and crammed into a dollhouse, amongst other childish delights, as she sings against the money-grubbing nature of the music industry. Watch here — it won’t cost you a penny!
“We don’t need your money / We just wanna make the world dance / Forget about the price tag,” the Brit ingenue sings on the infectious tune, dancing along under a money tree. She’s just the right mix of sultry and playful, flashing a smile every once in awhile to let us know she isn’t taking herself too seriously. B.o.B. plays along nicely with the anti-material girl in his rap interlude, appearing in a line of toy soldiers. (Credit director Emil Nava for matching Jessie’s antic spirit with those dreamy visuals).

Money doesn’t grow on trees, except in the B.o.B-assisted video for Jessie J’s “Price Tag,” the first U.S. single from her debut album Who You Are, arriving March 28 in the U.K. and April 12 in the U.S. In the Emil Nava-directed visuals, the British songbird lives in a “larger than life” world, cuddling up with a giant teddy bear and swinging her legs over an oversized desk chair. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the colorful clip before it premieres January 31 on VEVO.

Getting a verse from Nicki Minaj is not easy these days, but Jessie J is up to the task. The British singer-songwriter has set her sights on recruiting the in-demand rapper and she’s not stopping until she gets what she wants.
The 22-year-old BRIT Award honoree tried reaching out to the Harajuku Barbie for a remix, but was unsuccessful at first. “I tried to, but I think she’s a busy lady,” she tells Rap-Up.com. “I’d love to have her on my ‘Do It Like a Dude’ [remix] for the U.S., but I like to let things happen organically. I think if she likes it, it’ll happen.”
Now that she’s making a name for herself, Jessie hopes to reignite talks in-person at next month’s Grammy Awards. “I’m a huge fan of hers. I’m just gonna maybe bug her at the Grammys like, ‘Hi, we have the same hair.’ You never know. I’m just gonna keep an open mind and see what happens.”
The stars may align sooner as Nicki visits Jessie’s London hometown this week for her Pink Friday promo tour.

Jessie J is quickly making a name for herself with her breakout single “Do It Like a Dude.” The video has already been watched over six million times on YouTube and the song is rising up the U.K. charts, but it wasn’t originally intended for her. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter wrote the clever tune with another pop star in mind.
“I wrote it with [Rihanna] in mind because ‘Rude Boy’ was out at the time and that’s kinda what inspired me to [write] the song,” “At first I never really saw myself doing something like it, but I knew I could. I sent it to my label and I was like, ‘I’m just sending you this before I send it to Rihanna’s camp to see if you guys like it.’ And they were like, ‘This is your first single. It’s amazing.’”
Jessie, whose debut album Who You Are is due March 22 in the U.K., was hesitant about releasing the testosterone-charged “Do It Like a Dude” at first. “I was a bit scared that people would judge me, but I think I need to remember that I’m 22 and it’s actually a really fun song that’s kinda tongue-in-cheek and I’m always taking the mickey out of myself.”
But she doesn’t regret her decision to hold onto the in-your-face track for herself. “I’m glad I kept it,” she says, adding, “I guess [Rihanna's] heard it now, I hope.”
Jessie, who went into the studio this week to write for Britney Spears’ new album, hopes to pen a song for RiRi in the future. “I would love to write for Rihanna. She’s one of my idols. I met her when I was touring with Chris Brown briefly, but I wasn’t really as established then as I am now. I’d love to meet her again though.”
