Prince has revealed his first set of concert dates for his Los Angeles residency-style Welcome 2 America tour, which he’s calling his “21-Night Stand”. The Purple One and his pals (not yet announced) will perform at The Forum on April 14, April 21 and April 22, with the first batch of tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am. And in case you think it may break the bank to go see some pop royalty rock the stage, at least 85% of tickets will be made available only for $25. Including service fees! Wow!

Rihanna is getting the Purple treatment. Prince and his New Power Generation band gave a special treat to concertgoers at Monday night’s gig at Oakland’s Oracle Arena. The music icon slipped a cover of Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” into his set, allowing the female singers to handle vocal duties with Sheila E. on the drums, but he took over at the end as everyone from fans to security guards boogied in the aisles. Watch Prince and company catch island fever.

Check out a clip of our good friend Kim Kardashian on stage with Prince at his sold out Madison Square Gardens concert. The 32-year-old was called up on stage to dance but got a bit of stage fright and was quickly told to 'get off of my stage' by the iconic singer. Kim got a chance to redeem herself later though when she was re-invited back up on stage by Prince.
Be on the lookout for Kim's charity single & Kivideo for "Turn It Up."

The ladies of “The View” got a surprise visit from Prince on Thursday’s show. “These are strange hours for rock stars,” said the reclusive superstar, who was there to promote his upcoming concerts at Madison Square Garden.
Barbara Walters shared with him what Justin Bieber said about wanting to model his career after his, while Sherri Shepherd couldn’t contain her excitement. “I have wanted to make love to you for my whole life,” she told the Purple One, who quickly made an exit.

Purple Ribbon is about to collide with the Purple One. Prince has officially announced Janelle Monáe as one of the supporting acts on his “Welcome 2 America” tour, which will also feature Maceo Parker, Cassandra Wilson, Sheila E., Mint Condition, Lalah Hathaway, Esperanza Spalding, and more.
“I’ve got lots of hits,” said a bespectacled Prince during a press conference earlier this evening at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater. “Bring footspray ’cause it’s gonna be funky.”
This marks the first time that Prince has launched a substantial U.S. tour since 2004, with the first date occurring on an ambiguous “Purple Day in December in the year 2010.” Prince will also play a multi-night stint in the New York area as part of the trek, though dates are currently unconfirmed.

After receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards, Prince has revealed the official artwork and track listing to his upcoming album, entitled "20Ten." It's also the blouse he wore for the night (now I get it) I'm definitely loving the cover, wasn't that on his shirt at the BET Awards? Either way, it should be some good music and is set for a July 10th release in Europe and July 22nd release in the US.
