Raise your glass and check out the video for “Cheers (Drink to That),” the sixth single off Rihanna’s latest album LOUD. Little Miss Sunshine lives life to the fullest in the fun-filled clip, which includes footage from her “LOUD” tour and homecoming trip to Barbados. Get up close with RiRi as she parties with her pals, rides a float at the Kadooment Day Parade, and rocks the stage night after night. Look for cameos from Kanye West, Jay-Z, Cee Lo Green, and Avril Lavigne, whose song “I’m With You” was sampled. It’s a blast in a glass!

Rihanna, who is vacationing in Portofino, Italy, was spotted out on the town wearing a Lanvin Silk Halter Shoulderless Gown ($2,798) from the 2010 Resort Collection that has a chain neck with fringe detail. She was also rocking a pair of Christian Louboutin Fall 2011 Macala Booties (seen below in black, $995) and Prada Baroque sunglasses ($290)

Rihanna was spotted on the beach in Barbados wearing a pair of Missoni Aden Crochet pants ($737). These multi-colored crochet fabric pants feature an elastic band waist and leg cuffs. Do you like Rihanna’s look?

If you happened to shut your eyes for a split second and missed Rihanna in the recent Battleship trailer, you’re in luck — a new promo shot from the sure-to-be future Oscar winner (*cough*) featuring the “Cheers” songstress has been released. Here we see Ri Ri’s character, Petty Officer Raikes, aiming what looks to be a boat-mounted punt gun while conjuring up her best “I am intensely fierce” face. Of course, if the producers really wanted to sell tickets to this video game flick, they should have let Rihanna opt for her beach-blanket-Barbados wardrobe.

Rihanna was spotted arriving to the set of a photo shoot out in LA wearing a floral print short suit with a pair of neon yellow Miu Miu flower cutout flat sandals ($550). These gladiator style sandals were one of the stand out pieces from the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. What do you think of her look?

“Cheers to you!” MTV VMA nominee Rihanna tweeted last night while posting the cover art for “Cheers,” the sixth single off her Loud LP. So let’s see…“Only Girl (In The World),” “What’s My Name” and “S&M” — a threepeat of #1s. “Man Down” and “California King Bed” — a disappointing (chart-wise) double-decker. Do you think the Avril Lavigne-sampling “Cheers” can match the success of the early Loud singles? And more importantly — where’s the single release for “Fading”?

Rihanna is just now offering what could have been a highly viable contender. The VMA nominee mentioned via Twitter that her next single will be “Cheers (Drink To That)”, which samples Avril Lavigne’s 2002 single “I’m With You”. We can definitely raise our glass of Vita Coco for RiRi’s sixth (sixth!) Loud single. And, not surprising at all, the “Man Down” singer can’t drop a single without just a teeny bit of controversy.

Hey boo, ur fav song is the brand new #LOUD single ‘CHEERS’ to u being an A&R #RihannaNavy,” the oft-pantsless singer tweeted to gossip blogger Perez Hilton on Sunday.

“Uhm, RiRi. Just heard #Cheers on the radio (yay!), but they made inaudible the word ‘bastards’,” wrote Hilton. “Since when is that offensive? Grrr!”

RiRi’s reply: “WtF???? Ugh, hate that!”

We hate that, too. We can’t remember anything being censored when Fat Bastard was a main character in the child-friendly Austin Powers franchise. Anyway, Rihanna, don’t let those bastards get you down!

The U.S. leg of Rihanna’s “LOUD” tour came to a close in Boston on Sunday (July 24). Along the way, she was joined by her pals Drake, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, who performed “All of the Lights” and “Run This Town” with her at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York. In this behind-the-scenes footage, the superstars are seen preparing to go on stage. Watch as they meet up backstage, mingle with Heidi Klum, and perform “All of the Lights.”

The Roc was in the building at Rihanna’s “LOUD” tour stop in New Jersey on Thursday night (July 21). Fans were in for a surprise when Jay-Z joined the red-headed superstar during the encore at East Rutherford’s Izod Center.

RiRi threw up the diamond before her mentor emerged in a cloud of smoke from below the stage rocking shorts, a Basquiat T-shirt, and a snapback Yankees hat. The crowd went wild as he performed his verses from “Run This Town” and “Umbrella” with the pop princess.

Watch fan-filmed footage of the moment below.

Ouch! Apparently, Detroit fans can’t get enough of Rihanna’s luscious red locks — to the extent that they want to pull them out of her head. The VMA-snubbed diva had not one, but two fans take swipes at her curly scarlet tresses at the Michigan stop on her LOUD tour, who apparently wanted to make a good girl gone bald out of the pants-free pop star. How rude! If you really want RiRi’s attention, we know for a fact she’d prefer you just propose in front of her. She may be excited by whips and chains, but she didn’t say anything about hair-pulling, people! Watch below.

When Rihanna took the time to meet and greet fans backstage on her LOUD tour, little did she know she would also be a conduit to a marriage proposal. The fiery songbird was posing with two members of her Navy, when to her shock the gentleman took out a little blue Tiffany's box and dropped to one knee. We can just imagine the happy couple met via an ad in the personals section read something like this: Good girl gone bad seeks rude boy who's into S&M to share my California king bed.

Rihanna was spotted enjoying the weather in Miami wearing a pair of Sergio Rossi laser cut wedge booties ($870). These natural suede wedges feature a leather upper and intricate cut-out detailing. What do you think of her look?

Rihanna dedicated “Sweet Home Alabama” to her fans in Alabama during a special stop on her “LOUD” tour at the Jefferson Civic Center Arena in Birmingham last night. A long-haired RiRi, dressed in a torn denim bikini, covered the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic with her band. All proceeds from the show went to benefit local community relief efforts from the devastating tornadoes that tore through the state in early 2011.

“Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster … I wanted to figure out a way to help,” stated the singer. “I’m hoping that bringing the LOUD tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with.”

Rihanna set the stage on fire—literally—during her “LOUD” tour stop in Dallas, Texas, on Friday night (July 8). The red-haired singer was performing “California King Bed” when a light high above the stage burst into flames at the American Airlines Center.

RiRi, dressed in a floor-length yellow gown, finished the song before exiting underneath the stage. Shortly after, smoke filled the arena as the house lights came on and the flames were extinguished. Fans in the front row started making their way toward the exit and eventually the entire venue was evacuated.

Following the incident, Rihanna took to Twitter. “DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!” she tweeted. “DALLAS yall CRAY!!! Love this fuckin place! Glad u guys are safe!!! I promise I’ll be back!!! #MoFYAH.”

She later said that she was headed to a production meeting to find out what caused the fire. The concert is expected to be rescheduled.

There have been whispers that Rihanna is already working on her next album. Now Ryan Seacrest confirms reports that the red-haired diva is back in the lab with a new project due later this year.

RiRi, who is currently making her way around the country on her “LOUD” tour, has plans to release her sixth album this fall. It would come as no surprise as she has put out five albums in the past five years, with her most recent project LOUD still spawning hit singles.

Seacrest spoke with the singer’s camp and made the announcement on his KIIS FM radio show. “We can confirm that Rihanna is currently working on material and will release a brand new album this fall,” he said, while also shooting down rumors that she is dating Drake.

Rihanna clarified Seacrest’s comments, alluding to a re-release of her latest album. “The #LOUDera continues with more new music to add to ur collection!!!” she explained.

With the backlash she’s facing from the Parents Television Council, Rihanna called in to BET’s “106 & Park” to further address the controversy surrounding her “Man Down” video. Taking a break from tour rehearsals in Baltimore, RiRi explained the video’s concept and why she chose to include a murder scene.

“I don’t like to just make videos. I love to make an experience and this is art with a message,” she told hosts Terrence and Rocsi. “Obviously [the character is] not a cold-blooded killer. It has to be something so offensive and we decided to hone in on a very serious matter that people are afraid to address.”

Her intention was to send a strong message for women who have been victimized. “Rape is happening all over the world and right in our own home and we continue to cover it up and pretend it doesn’t happen,” she explained. “I personally don’t condone violence or murder. I’ve been abused in the past and you don’t see me running around killing people in my spare time. I just want girls to be careful.”

Rihanna fired shots in her newly premiered video for “Man Down,” and now she’s the one coming under attack.

The Parents Television Council, a non-profit organization that advocates responsible entertainment, is blasting the red-haired singer for “cold, calculated execution of murder” in her latest video, reports TMZ.

The council is outraged at Rihanna’s suggestion that killing a rapist is a proper form of justice and doesn’t agree with her rationale that it sends “a very strong underlying message 4 girls like me.”

“If Chris Brown shot a woman in his new video and BET premiered it, the world would stop. Rihanna should not get a pass,” said PTC, who also chided BET for airing the video.

The group previously took issue with Rihanna and Britney Spears’ opening performance of “S&M” at the Billboard Music Awards, likening it to a “Vegas stripper show.”

Rihanna flew down to Kingston, Jamaica to shoot the video for her fifth Loud single, “Man Down”, though the video wasn’t the only thing that ended up getting shot. In the opening scene of the visually stunning Anthony Mandler-directed video, RiRi takes out a pistol and kills a man walking in the middle of a crowd. We are then given the back story of what caused the “Only Girl” to commit this act of violence — find out by watching the video below. And be forewarned, she might still have that bright red Loud hair, but this dark clip is much more Rated R.

Though it’s apparant Rihanna isn’t afraid to continue the discussion of domestic abuse (and we applaud her for that), we’re not convinced the song and the treatment for this video work well together. Being physically assaulted isn’t exactly “a sticky situation” as the lyrics indicate, and though RiRi sings “I didn’t mean to hurt him”, she very clearly was aiming to kill in the very first moments of the vid. In fact, “Man Down” is really about breaking a dude’s heart — not seeking revenge against your attacker.

And although Rihanna is clearly the victim in this scenario, what message does it send that killing your attacker is the way to go?

Tell us what you think of her new video in the comments, and check out the clip’s far less dismal behind-the-scenes footage:

We doubt it’s a coincidence that a photo of Rihanna appears next to the caption “What Men Crave In July” on the cover of the July issue of Cosmopolitan. There will be no cooling off with this touring hottie during the scorching summer months. The mag also promises: “She finally reveals her deepest feelings” (what, Cosmo doesn’t follow the blunt diva on Twitter?), though we’d be equally satisfied with a fluff piece on what it’s like to have a pillow fight with Britney Spears.

After flirting with Drake (“What’s My Name?”) and spicing up the bedroom (“S&M”), Rihanna is getting serious with her latest video for “Man Down.”

The clip for the reggae-infused song, co-written by fellow Bajan Shontelle, contains a compelling message for women. “Very strong underlying message 4 girls like me! #listentoyomama,” explained RiRi.

The Barbados beauty flew to Jamaica last month to shoot the visuals with director Anthony Mandler (“Only Girl”), filming scenes on the beach and in Portland, a parish on the island’s northeast coast.

The video for “Man Down,” the fifth release from last year’s Loud, is set to premiere Tuesday on BET’s “106 & Park.”
