Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana many have had to make some last minute alterations to Beyonce Knowles’ Fall 2011 look before her performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards tonight.

She maybe pregnant, but she’s not slowing down just yet.

The singer put in an energetic performance on stage at the Nokia Theatre LA Live, much to the delight of her fans.

A masculine tuxedo look included a purple sequin jacket with wide black lapels which was teamed with a white shirt with a fitted black band and black loose-fitting pants.

The petite actress chose an intricate black Julien MacDonald Fall 2011 dress.

Her gothic look features a high lace neckline, a short skirt in the front and an overlay in the back with a longer train.

Selena brightened up her dark ensemble by adding gold accessories, including Brian Atwood pumps, a Judith Leiber metallic box clutch, Ofira gold drop earrings with black stones and a gorgeous black and gold Ofira cuff.

She finished her look by pulling her hair back into a casual bun and wearing pink lip-gloss.

I love Selena’s accessories but think her dress is a little too sophisticated for the MTV VMA Awards.

I wish she had opted for something brighter, younger and more fun.

The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards wouldn’t be the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards without at least one Falguni & Shane Peacock dress on the red carpet.

I think it’s the law as far as this event is concerned.

Kelly Rowland donned this gorgeous creation from the designers Fall 2011 collection on the red carpet tonight.

So far there have been a lot of black looks, but I do love this one.

The gold embroidered dress with a feathered skirt and leather harness-style detail wrapped around her waist is the perfect sexy, confident look I would expect from Kelly.

Her look would’ve been significantly better if Kelly had opted for a better hairstyle (when will she retire that awful wig?)

Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Spikes peep-toes and a black clutch completed her look.

The mother-to-be was beaming with joy and pride wearing a Lanvin Fall 2011 gown.

I love the bright orange colour of her one-shoulder silk crepe cut-away gown. It was the only look I liked at this lackluster event.

Her big announcement was matched by some amazing big bold Lorraine Schwartz jewels which included an emerald ring which provided a nice contrasting to her bold hue of her gown and huge silver earrings.

A side sweeping ponytail completed her look.

Maternity watch will be very interesting.

The singer picked a long-sleeved printed Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2011 gown.

I instantly disliked her blue gown with black detailing, as it feels too all over the place with a leopard print on the top half and floral print on the bottom.

Although her dress is backless, it’s still an aging look for Miley which wasn’t helped with her diamond Lorraine Schwartz choker.

The rest of her jewelry included drop earrings and a huge statement ring.

She finished her look with a pulled back up-do and smoky eye shadow.

Zoe Saldana wore a Barbara Bui Fall 2011 LBD.

Her tweed mini dress was embellished with gold and silver military-style details and leather panels.

Judging by the runway this wasn’t supposed to be a top, but Zoe uses the tunic to showcase her slender legs.

Zoe accessorized her mini with Barbara Bui snake-skin heels, a gold cuff and a black clutch.

A chic updo and smoky eyes completed her look.

Beyoncé showed off her baby bump during a rendition of “Love on Top,” a cut off her latest album 4. The mom-to-be flaunted her pregnant belly at the end of the performance, showing no signs of wear as she ripped through the ’80s throwback in a glittery purple jacket, white tuxedo shirt, and dress pants. After she climbed the octaves, B unbuttoned her shiny top and clutched her tummy while the camera cut to the proud father-in-waiting, who was cheered on by Kanye West and Lady Gaga. Watch Beyoncé and Jay-Z share the good news with the world.

eave it to Beyoncé to steal the spotlight at Sunday's Video Music Awards.

But it wasn't one of the pop diva's signature show-stopping performances that had people talking. Instead, it was Beyoncé's burgeoning baby bump, swathed in an orange gown.

Beyoncé, 29, posed for photos with her hands cradling her belly, teasing, "I have a surprise!"

Leona Lewis makes waves in the Ethan Lader-directed video for “Collide,” the first single from her upcoming third album Glass Heart. The big-voiced diva hits a Southern California beach with her friends in the summery visuals, performing the Avicii-borrowed dance tune on the sandy shores. The British beauty lights up the screen in a polka dot bikini top while splashing in the water with a hunky male co-star. The festivities continue at night as fireworks shoot across the sky. Soak up the final days of summer in the feel-good video.

Kelly Rowland is already motivated to make another album. Following the release of this summer’s Here I Am, Rico Love tells that the R&B singer is plotting a return to the studio to prep her next project.

“I’m starting Kelly’s new album soon,” reveals Love, who penned the smash “Motivation” and several other cuts off Rowland’s third album. “While she’s on tour, I’m gonna be writing records for her new album. We can kinda roll that out and drop her new single in late spring. Excited about that.”

While Love readies new material for the singer, she will be traveling the country with Chris Brown on “The F.A.M.E.” tour starting in September and appearing as a judge on Britain’s “X Factor.”

The hitmaker, who’s recently been in the studio with Mary J. Blige, Melanie Fiona, and Usher, wants to continue developing an R&B sound with Rowland. “I believe in R&B and I believe that if we make new age records and don’t make dated records and keep it classic, I think we’ll be fine.”

He hopes to achieve the same success as “Motivation,” which spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. “It feels like a long time coming,” says Love. “I started her album two-and-a-half years ago, so to be able to get here and see as much success as we’ve seen on this record and album so far is amazing. You put in hard work and it pays off. It sounds cliché, but it’s always good to have that success, especially when people doubted it.”

Beyoncé melts the screen in the steamy video for “1+1,” the sensual ballad off her No. 1 album 4. The R&B seductress strips down in the cinematic clip, directed by herself, Laurent Briet, and Ed Burke. It marks the first of many videos which will be released to visually tell the story of 4. Fire it up!

Raise your glass and check out the video for “Cheers (Drink to That),” the sixth single off Rihanna’s latest album LOUD. Little Miss Sunshine lives life to the fullest in the fun-filled clip, which includes footage from her “LOUD” tour and homecoming trip to Barbados. Get up close with RiRi as she parties with her pals, rides a float at the Kadooment Day Parade, and rocks the stage night after night. Look for cameos from Kanye West, Jay-Z, Cee Lo Green, and Avril Lavigne, whose song “I’m With You” was sampled. It’s a blast in a glass!

Beyoncé next to Britney and Lady Gaga next to Lil Wayne? Only at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards! Music’s biggest stars will be at arm’s length from one another at the 28th annual event. MTV Buzzworthy gives us a sneak peek at where your faves will be seated during the big show.

The back of Nicki Minaj’s colorful hair will be facing Tony Bennett, who is bound to catch a contact high sitting in front of Wiz Khalifa. Britney and Beyoncé score the best seats in the house (along with the “Jersey Shore” cast), Chris Brown grabs a seat behind Weezy, and 11-member collective Odd Future will have to fight over the few seats they’ve been allotted (sorry guys).

MTV’s Jim Cantiello tours the seating arrangements at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre. See which stars will be rubbing elbows come Sunday.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton died ten years ago today in a plane crash off the Bahamas, where she was filming for her “Rock the Boat” music video. Mary J. Blige is giving you her love “25/8” on the blissful new single off her 10th studio album My Life II: The Journey Continues, due this October.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul effortlessly glides over the soulful Eric Hudson-produced beat. “‘Cause I got days and days of love for you boy/ And I don’t wanna have to rush, but 24/7 ain’t enough/ ‘Cause I got so much love for you boy/ I need another hour and a day so I can love you 25/8,” she sings.

The R&B veteran has been in the studio with Pharrell, Rico Love, Swizz Beatz, and Jermaine Dupri working on the sequel to her 1994 landmark album My Life. One listen and you’ll remember why MJB is still the MVP.

Rihanna, who is vacationing in Portofino, Italy, was spotted out on the town wearing a Lanvin Silk Halter Shoulderless Gown ($2,798) from the 2010 Resort Collection that has a chain neck with fringe detail. She was also rocking a pair of Christian Louboutin Fall 2011 Macala Booties (seen below in black, $995) and Prada Baroque sunglasses ($290)

Nicki Minaj will link up with David Guetta and Flo Rida to perform their smash collaboration “Where Them Girls At” for the first time on NBC’s talent competition “America’s Got Talent.”

The episode featuring the trio’s performance is scheduled to air on August 31 at 9 p.m., two days after Guetta’s album Nothing But the Beat arrives in stores. The dance track reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Additionally, Nicki has been announced as a presenter for Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards and is rumored to be participating in the musical tribute to her tourmate Britney Spears.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are still happily married.

After a day of buzz following a tabloid report that they have separated after 13 years of marriage, the couple have put a stop to the rumors.

"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," the couple said in a joint statement Tuesday.

"We are still together, and our marriage is intact."
While a media storm brewed around them Tuesday morning, the couple ran errands, stopping at a Michaels craft store to pick up canvases and paints for Jada.

"They were laughing and being cutesy – they seemed to be getting along just fine," an onlooker tells DIDNTINVITEME. "It sounds cliché, but they were just like ordinary people. They seemed really nice."

A second source adds, "They seemed happy to me."

Earlier, Jada's rep refused to comment on the split rumors. But Will's son Trey took to Twitter on the matter.

"Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split! False information ... its not true RETWEET!!!" Trey Tweeted. "Everyone can think what they want ... even if its not true."

Kanye West is getting in the game. The hip-hop superstar will close out Activision’s first-ever Call of Duty XP celebration over Labor Day weekend.

The ticketed event will be held in a secure 12-acre compound in Los Angeles on September 2-3 and is expected to draw 6,000 video gamers, some of who will compete in a $1 million Call of Duty tournament.

Kanye will provide the live entertainment on September 3, performing for fans of the shooter video game franchise.

Tickets are available to purchase online for $150, with 100% of proceeds benefitting The Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit, public benefit corporation that assists veterans.

Kreayshawn has been jetting across the country, but she returned home to the Bay Area to perform in front of her biggest crowd yet at KMEL’s Summer Jam over the weekend. The “Gucci Gucci” rapper showed off her fresh ink, including a fried chicken leg and a hamburger with Mickey Mouse inside it. She also spoke of wanting to meet Lupe Fiasco, shot down rumors that she’s dating Da Brat, and expressed love for Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha.

On rumors she is dating Da Brat: “I like that rumor, but it wasn’t true. But you never know… Hey, I got her number. I might hit her up and be like, ‘Hey.’”
On new female rappers: “Everytime I go on YouTube and look up the new girl rappers, they all diss me.”
On Nicki Minaj: “I love Nicki. She fine. I’d kiss her everywhere.”
On Ke$ha: “Ke$ha’s cool, man. She doing her thing, too.”

Zoe Saldana attended the Miami premiere of her new movie “Colombiana”, which hits theaters on August 26th. She wore a Balmain dress from the Resort 2012 Collection that is adorned with intricate gold and silver detail.

50 Cent and Lil’ Kim heat up the stage for the first-ever live performance of their 2003 collaboration “Magic Stick” at the WinterBeatz Festival in Perth, Australia, on Wednesday. The Queen Bee was far from shy, grinding up against a grinning 50, who made sexual gestures with the microphone. Watch them get freaky Down Under.

We’re not sure why it took an 11-year-old mayor to give Justin Bieber his own street, because according to People magazine’s annual Richest Teen Celebrity list (via MTV), the pop star has earned enough cash in the last year to practically buy the whole damn town. That’s right, the “Baby” singer raked $53 million in 2010 — thanks in large part to the success of Never Say Never. Closing in on the Biebs is Ms. Gypsy Heart herself, Miley Cyrus with $48 million. Rounding out the list are Willow Smith ($4 million), and Selena Gomez ($5.5 million). Now if you’ll excuse us, all of those zeros are giving us a headache.

I know it’s just a 15-second promo, but we are loving this jazzy rendition of Lady Gaga’s “You And I” in her MTV VMA promos. Yes, promos — there’s three of them altogether, all boasting the pop star’s just-announced performance at the August 28 awards show. Watch Gaga strip down her song and herself as she takes off her bra and travels back to the jazz age.

We’d be totally fine if she decided to perform this rendition of her song during the telecast, but something tells us Gaga has bigger and bloodier things up her sleeves.

Kelly Rowland styled on the red carpet at the “X-Factor” press conference at O2 Arena in London. She wore a sexy green and black wave print dress from the Versace Fall 2011 Collection paired with black wedge ankle boots. What do you think of her look?

Jessie J lines up a hit for the U.S. with the Dr. Luke-produced single “Domino.” The catchy dance-pop record (think Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night”) was not included on her original debut Who You Are. “Dirty dancing in the moonlight/ Take me down like I’m a domino,” sings Britain’s breakout star on the irresistible hook. Catch her performing it live on Katy Perry’s “California Dreams” tour this fall.

Jay-Z and Kanye West were crowned kings on the albums chart this week with Watch the Throne. The highly-anticipated collaboration from the hip-hop superstars reigns at No. 1.

Throne secures the top spot on the Billboard 200, selling 436,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It’s the second-largest sales week of the year, only trailing Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, which opened with 1.1 million in May.

The dynamic duo’s album was available exclusively through iTunes from August 8-11 prior to expanding sales at all digital and physical retailers on August 12. Only three official days of physical sales were counted due to the staggered release.

Throne was legally downloaded 321,000 times, giving it the second-largest digital week ever, behind Gaga’s Born This Way (662,000). Sources tell Billboard that the album also broke iTunes’ one-week sales record with 290,000 digital copies.

If that weren’t enough, Jay-Z also claims his 12th No. 1, while Kanye earns his fifth chart-topper with Throne. Jay holds his record as the solo act with the most No. 1 albums in history.

If Throne’s numbers seem low to some, that’s because the album has yet to have a full week’s worth of digital and physical sales. Those figures will be accounted for next week.

Last month we posed the question, “Does Katy Perry deserve to tie Michael Jackson’s chart record of five #1 singles from one album?” And Idolator readers sounded off by the thousands via our poll. (Er, don’t pop your retainer, Katy — the results weren’t exactly in your favor.) Regardless, “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” has now topped the Hot 100, Billboard reports today, and so Katy is now in pop history books alongside MJ. See just how our our poll panned out below!

In addition to Perry’s streak of Teenage Dream singles (”California Dreams,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.,” “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”) matching the chart-topping feat of Jackson’s five Bad jams (”I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Bad,” “The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Man In The Mirror,” “Dirty Diana”), she’s now the first female in the history of the chart to land as many #1s from a single album.

“Jackson notched his quintet of #1s from Bad over nine months and two weeks,” writes Billboard’s Gary Trust. “Perry’s five toppers from Dream spans one year, two months and one week.”

“Last Friday Night,” which had been lodged at #2 on the chart behind LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” got a big boost recently with the release of a Missy Elliot remix. (It accounted for 25% of the song’s sales last week.)

At any rate, you’ll see below how readers voted in a poll we posted in July — a whopping 90% felt Katy was undeserving of such a “bad” feat.
