Just a day after glam new promo pics of the forthcoming American X Factor crew arrived, American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe called in to Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show and dropped this bit of eclipsing info: “I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol is back for the next season.” That’s good news for fans of the “On The Floor” diva, though the New York Post reports that J.Lo’s rumored $20 million payday is causing friction with fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson. Sorry, boys — divorce isn’t cheap!

"I'm having an amazing day surrounded by family and friends." Jennifer Lopez tweeted yesterday as she celebrated her 42nd birthday. The recent wedding singer (and divorcee) was spotted living it up on a yacht in Miami. We would be gettin' down with our bad selves too if we looked better in a bathing suit than most pop stars half our age. Check out the American Idol judge in her Emilio Pucci bikini top and matching head scarf as she cruises the intercoastal on a boat named "Never Say Never". Is J.Lo a closet Belieber?

Jennifer Lopez (Bauer Griffin)Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced Friday that they're ending their commitment to their 7-year marriage, but the two are reportedly still "committed" to their upcoming reality show.

Apparently their international talent show ¡Q’viva! The Chosenwill go on! Deadline.com reports the couple, who set out to discover new talent in 21 countries across Latin America on the show, will continue working on it later this year as previously scheduled.

They’re both committed to ¡Q’viva! and will work on it as planned," a spokesman for Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment said. "The show goes on!"

J.Lo and Marc announced their plans to divorce in a statement just days ago: “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusions on all matters.”

The news came as a shock to many, but there were a few tell-tale signs that there was trouble in paradise looking back. For instance: J.Lo took her mom instead of her hubby to the BAFTA event last week, and she and the kids went to the beach without Marc on the 4th of July.

After seven years of marriage, it's over for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

"We have decided to end our marriage," they tell our friends over @PEOPLE in a joint statement. "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."

"It is a painful time for all involved," the statement continues, "and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for her weekend appearance on HSN — check her out Saturday at midnight, noon and 9 p.m. — but in the meantime, she’s been busy shooting ads for her new fragrance, Love & Light. PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful Woman recently got extra-glamorous for the campaign — and we have a sneak peek! In these behind-the-scenes shots, Lopez flashes her famous gams, posing seductively in a silk wrap dress. But while the photos are all about beauty, Lopez says the fragrance is about channeling what’s inside. “With Love & Light, I wanted to create a fragrance that was less about the world around you and more about your inner light and your spirit,” she explains in a release. “It’s about how you feel inside, it’s not about your outside world.” Betsy Olum, general manager of beauty and merchandising strategy at HSN, says Lopez’s upcoming appearance will make the scent “simply come alive. It’s a true reflection of who she is,” she shares. “We know our audience is going to love hearing from her on what influenced the creation of this fragrance.” After debuting on HSN, Love & Light will be available at Kohl’s and in department stores in September. The eau de parfum — packaged in a bottle inspired by womanly curves — will retail for $58, with an accompanying shower gel selling for $32. Tell us: Will you watch Lopez on HSN this weekend?

Jennifer Lopez predicts her next project will be "the biggest thing that I've been involved with yet."

But just how can the American Idol judge top a career filled with top-selling albums, high-energy music videos, blockbuster movies, eye-popping fashion and media mogul business moves?

On her new show, ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen, Lopez, 41, will travel with husband Marc Anthony and tour-director-to-the-stars Jamie King to 21 countries across the Americas. They will be searching for the "world's most extraordinary talent," says Anthony, 41.

As for the show itself, it will be filmed in three languages and broadcast simultaneously on leading TV networks across the Western Hemisphere. The search for the talent begins in July.

Locals Lead to Talent

The Chosen, from Idol creator Simon Fuller, isn't holding auditions. Instead, Lopez, Anthony and King are "literally being guided by the [local] people," Anthony says, "leaving no stone unturned."

The trio will head to "places people wouldn't normally look, where all of this rich talent lives and wouldn't normally be discovered," says Lopez. These include clubs, bars, dance studios, underground dance halls and festivals in villages, towns and cities.

"This is less about competition and more about finding great talent, cultivating that talent, putting it on stage and giving it to the rest of the world," King says.

Embracing Heritage

For Lopez, it's also about embracing her Latin heritage. "With this show we hope for the first time to unite all of the Latin cultures and make something that makes everybody proud," she says. "This is like me being able to really, really go, 'I am Latina, and this is who we are! Isn't it fabulous? Isn't it amazing? Doesn't it bring tears to your eyes and make you want to dance and smile and jump and stay up all night?' "

American Idol’s 10th season is almost to a close, and it seems difficult to remember that this time last year, most people had written a Simon-less Idol off. (Fools!) The Hollywood Reporter took a look back at the reality juggernaut’s tumultuous – and ultimately, triumphant – past year, interviewing the people behind the scenes for all the backstage drama. Find out who Steven Tyler should be thanking for putting his name into the running by jumping below for the five most revealing tidbits of Idol’s cover story.

5 Things We Learned From The Hollywood Reporter’s American Idol Cover Story

1. Kara DioGuardi was the one who recommended Steven Tyler to Randy Jackson as a possible judge. Randy then brought the idea to the attention of the Idol producers.

2. Jennifer Lopez, a huge Idol addict, was on everyone’s (including Simon Cowell) list as possible judges. She was first asked to consider the show in April of 2010.

3. Steven and Jennifer were hired without ever putting them into the same room together to judge their chemistry. Randy, Ryan, Jennifer and Steven had a big dinner the day before the official announcement was made, and, as Jackson recalls, “Some of the execs dropped by later, and they were like, ‘Wow, it’s like old pals week.’”

4. Producer Nigel Lythgoe was initially against the Judges’ Save, but admits, “Thank God we saved Casey [Abrams]. From a practical point of view, I loved it because here was a guy who really deserved to be saved. But I would prefer to go to my way, which is the judges make the decision out of the bottom two or three that America votes. Then you don’t need a save.”

5. Steven Tyler is a big fan of J-Lo’s romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan. Jury’s still out on what he thought of Gigli, though.

After extended absences from music, Jennifer Lopez and the Beastie Boys are back on the Billboard charts. The superstars debut in the top 5 on this week’s albums chart.

Hot Sauce Committee Part 2, the Beastie Boys’ first proper release in seven years, enters in the runner-up spot on the Billboard 200 below Adele’s 21 with 128,000 copies sold. Hot Sauce is the hip-hop trailblazers sixth top 10, followed by To the 5 Boroughs, which debuted at No. 1 in 2004 with 360,000.

Jennifer Lopez’ Island Def Jam debut LOVE? comes in at No. 5 with 83,000. The “American Idol” judge’s previous English-language album, 2007’s Brave, peaked at No. 12 with 53,000.

Also in the top 10 is Sade’s second greatest hits package, The Ultimate Collection, which racked up 38,000 units (No. 7), giving the British band its ninth consecutive top 10 album. Musiq Soulchild’s MusiqInTheMagiq arrives at No. 8 with 35,000.

Jennifer Lopez adds Lil Wayne to the mix in the video for “I’m Into You,” the second single from LOVE? Although they filmed together, Weezy and J.Lo do not actually share any scenes with one another. Instead, Tunechi appears solo in black and white and orange-hued shots as the video flashes back to images of J.Lo and actor William Levy on the beach in Mexico.

Jennifer Lopez showed the contestants how its done, commanding the stage during her smashing performance on “American Idol.” The sexy judge busted out her hit “On the Floor” with some help from Pitbull on Thursday’s results show. Meanwhile, J.Lo’s seventh album LOVE? is expected to sell 60-65,000 copies in its first week, but could get a boost from the “Idol” performance.

Jennifer Lopez held her CD signing to celebrate her new album “LOVE?” at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, California. She was spotted wearing a pair of leather Christian Louboutin “Ronfifi 100″ detail boots (seen below in a similar style $1,275). This black leather calf-high boots feature elasticated hooks and anchor-stamped gold-tone buttons at front, an almond-shaped toe, and a 4 inch heel.

Currently, on iTunes, Fleetwood Mac’s 34-year-old album Rumours is outselling Jennifer Lopez’s just-released LP Love?, following this week’s Mac-heavy Glee episode. Perhaps J.Lo chose the wrong Fox series to sign up with? Despite the fact that her single “On The Floor” is a certified smash after having sold roughly 1.6 million downloads (it’s #7 on this week’s Hot 100 chart, after previously peaking at #5), Billboard predicts that first-week sales of Love? are going to have the singer moving about 60,000 copies, with new albums from Beastie Boys and Fleet Foxes — not to mention the latest NOW compilation and Adele’s two-and-a-half-month-old 21 — coming in ahead of her. Time to mobilize (and cough up some cash), J.Lo fans!

Jennifer Lopez went bicoastal to kick off the release of her new album LOVE? with a series of promotional appearances. The Latina bombshell traveled to the East Coast to tape “106 & Park” in a white cutout dress, returning to Hollywood to celebrate the album’s launch with her LOVERS? at the Hard Rock Cafe on Tuesday. J.Lo posed alongside her sparkling catsuit from the “On the Floor” video, which she donated to the restaurant.

She will perform her Pitbull-assisted hit on Thursday’s episode of “American Idol” and guest on “The Tonight Show” on May 9.

Jennifer Hudson is feeling like a winner these days. At the 2011 Met Gala, the singer-actress wore a taupe gown evocative of the look she wore to accept her Oscar. Jennifer's Vera Wang strapless gown, with a full ivory underskirt, complemented her skintone beautifully. Though, this look may have wanted for some more exquisite jewels. Thoughts?

Paying homage to the late designer and the theme of the Met Gala, Beyonce donned a familiar silhouette with an Alexander McQueen gown. The high-necked embroidered gown channeled a Spanish bull fighter with a tulle hem. Sasha Fierce is on the scene!

Feathers were a popular choice at the 2011 Met Gala—Lala Vasquez also joined flock. Arriving on the red carpet with Carmelo Anthony, Lala was quite the confection in peach tulle layered over wispy feathers. With a sweetheart neckline, tulle shoulder and ribbon sash, Lala appeared to be vying with Kate Middleton for princess status.

Ciara opted to wear a McQueen inspired Prabal Gurung gown to the Met Gala. The songstress accentuated her, ahem, assets with the dresses' sweet heart neckline. The soft blue and white ombre textured confection was worn with long shining curls and accessorized with black bracelets, an unusual choice.

John Legend's model girlfriend Christine Teigen is clearly still feelin' the whole Black Swan sartorial moment, giving actress Lucy Liu (also clad in feathers) a run for her red carpet money. Christine left little to the imagination in this molten feather and lace dress with a high front slit, peekaboo chest and bodysuit underneath.

Fergie looked like an 80's bride in a strong shouldered bead saturated evening gown at the Met Gala. Complete with a matching headpiece, the songstress glittered in the tulle confection with a dramatic train and intricate embroidery. Do we love it? No. Does it work for Fergie? Certainly.

Kanye West isn't one to miss out on a fashionable event! The rapper and style maven wore a sleek black suit with a bow tie, custom designed by accompanying Tory Burch. Kanye looked dapper in the slim fitting pants and black patent wingtip shoes. Tory doesn't normally design men's wear, but after Kanye sported a woman's Celine tunic on stage, we don't put anything past him!

Rihanna showed up in an unexpected look for the Met Gala. The dark seductress wore a one-shoulder sequined rose Stella McCartney gown with strapply black platform sandals. The choice to wear her hair in a long red braid was a peculiar one, but it's hard to question the daring Rhi Rhi.

Mommy-to-be Jessica Alba opted to truly glow on the red carpet in a gold lame' strapless gown with a light layer of tulle. The actress channeled a princess with a delicate crown in her sweet updo. We're not crazy about the dress, but Jessica always manages to look incredible.

Zoe Saldana is a somewhat recent convert to Calvin Klein Collection and, while some miss the drama of her days in Givenchy Couture, the streamlined designs of designer Francisco Costa (also Zoe's date) look wonderful on the actress' lithe frame. At the Met Gala 2011, Zoe was simply chic in a yellow strapless column gown.

Taylor Swift vamped up the Met red carpet in a frothy nude and black J. Mendel Couture gown. The young songstress played up her fair complexion by wearing a tonal organza design with a layered train and puckered up in a deep red pout. Taylor's famous curls were swept back for this elegant Old Hollywood look.

When Jennifer Lopez gets dressed, she must stop and ask herself, Will this get me noticed? There was certainly no missing J.Lo at the 2011 Met Gala: The American Idol diva was a standout in Gucci's hot hot fuchsia cutout halter gown with a pink-and-scarlet bolero. She finishes the look with matching red lips and mani and a hot pink lizard clutch.

Jennifer Lopez is a sight to behold in the Melina-directed video for “I’m Into You,” the second single from her seventh album LOVE?, in stores tomorrow. People‘s Most Beautiful Woman in the World travels to Chichen Itza, Mexico, flaunting her beauty against the ancient Mayan architecture, and cozying up to telenovela star William Levy on the beach. Her collaborator Lil Wayne does not appear in this version, but he did film joint scenes with J.Lo in L.A.

Head south of the border with the Latina bombshell in the breathtaking visuals.

Report to the dance floor. Jennifer Lopez keeps the party going with “Hypnotico,” another club banger produced by RedOne (“On the Floor”) and written by Lady Gaga. The synth-heavy record, which will appear on her seventh album LOVE? (May 3), was originally recorded by dancehall artist Tami Chynn.

“They love me for my body/ I’m original sexy,” sings J.Lo over the bombastic bassline before the chanting chorus kicks in: “All the boys are lovin’ when we do our thing/ We just some silly heartbreakers tonight.”

The “Idol” judge recently spoke to Rolling Stone about collaborating with Gaga. “We didn’t work together face to face. RedOne brought her into the process, because they’d worked together a lot—it was kind of cool,” she said. “She’s a great songwriter. I don’t just love her lyrics, but also her melodies.”

Jennifer Lopez and Drake are getting animated. The superstars have been tapped to lend their vocal talents to 20th Century Fox’s Ice Age: Continental Drift, joining a cast that includes Keke Palmer, Jeremy Renner, Aziz Ansari, and Wanda Sykes in the fourth installment of the franchise.

The animated film, set for release on July 13, 2012, also sees actors Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Denis Leary, and more reprising their roles from previous films. J.Lo is slated to play Shira, a sabre toothed who catches another tiger’s eye, while the Young Money rapper will voice a character named Ethan, according to Deadline.com.

The two stars will be warming up their vocal chops with their upcoming album releases. The “American Idol” judge will drop LOVE? on May 3, while Drizzy is currently working on his highly-anticipated sophomore LP Take Care.

The Canadian entertainer recently pulled out of the big screen drama Arbitrage so he could focus on his music. “I actually decided to work on my album instead of doing that particular film,” he told MTV News.

Jennifer Lopez goes back to the block, hooking up with Lil Wayne on the second single from her seventh album LOVE?, due May 3. The mid-tempo, island-flavored jam opens with a verse from hip-hop’s man on the moon before J.Lo gets lost in her love. “When I look into your eyes it’s over, you got me hooked like a love controller,” she coos.

The Puerto Rican bombshell spoke highly of the Young Money rapper, calling him her favorite right now. “To me just the things he says and the way he says it is very unique, and I feel like he has a fresh new voice,” she said.

Love? will be in the air this May. After toying with a couple tentative dates, Jennifer Lopez has finally settled on an official release date for her seventh studio album.

Fresh on the heels of her top 5 dance smash “On the Floor,” J.Lo will spread her Love? to stores on May 3. The date has been confirmed by Island Def Jam and iTunes, which also outlines her upcoming song releases.

On April 5, her Lil Wayne-assisted single “I’m Into You” will arrive at the digital retailer, followed by “Papi” on April 19, and the title track on April 26.

It was recently revealed that Lady Gaga co-wrote two tracks for the album, including the RedOne-produced “Invading My Mind.” Other contributors include Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, and Danja.

The “American Idol” judge is expected to hit the “Idol” stage to perform one of her Love? songs around the project’s release.
