Justin Timberlake Talks ‘Friends With Benefits’ & Kriss Kross On ‘Conan’
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 4:21 AMIn Friends With Benefits, Justin goofs on tween rap duo Kriss Kross’ 1992 chart-topping hit “Jump” by belting out the song.
“That came from a very real place,” Timberlake told O’Brien. “We were trying to think of a song that could be funny but also a great pop culture reference for when I was, I don’t know, 12 or 13. And that song was like the song. And funny enough, I gotta say, when you go back and listen to it, it’s still a pretty awesome song. It’s still pretty jammin’.”
For the record, Justin, who turned 30 this year, would have actually only been 11 when “Jump” was released — i.e. younger (by at least two years) than the members of Kriss Kross themselves.
This in absolutely no way makes us feel old or anything. No, not at all… *sob*.

“There’s a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect. Myspace has the potential to be that place,” Timberlake said in a statement. “Art is inspired by people and vice versa, so there’s a natural social component to entertainment. I’m excited to help revitalize Myspace by using its social media platform to bring artists and fans together in one community.”
And they’re just as excited to have him! “We’re thrilled about the opportunity to rebuild and reinvigorate Myspace,” said Tim Vanderhook, CEO of Specific Media, which purchased the site from News Corp. “We look forward to partnering with someone as talented as Justin Timberlake, who will lead the business strategy with his creative ideas and vision for transforming Myspace. This is the next chapter of digital media, and we are excited to have a hand in writing the script.”
Either JT is researching his upcoming role as Tom in the MySpace version of The Social Network, or he really thinks he can make people interested in the formerly popular social media platform. (And just how unpopular has it become? News Corp. bought the site for $580 million in 2005. At its peak in 2007, MySpace was worth about $12 billion. And they just sold it to Specific Media for $35 million. You do the math.)

Justin Timberlake (Getty Images)Justin Timberlake was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, where he talked about the often awkward nature of sex, when it comes to friends, and that in terms of casual romps, he's not the biggest fan. The irony of it all was that he and co-star Mila Kunis were there to promote their new film, Friends with Benefits. When it comes to casual sex, JT told Ellen that it's usually a "really good idea until it becomes a bad idea." Kunis didn't offer her opinion on the matter, which could be due to the fact that Timberlake was rumored to have had the hots for the Black Swan star -- so maybe the issue was too close to home for her.
Ellen went on to talk to Justin and Mila about the process involved in filming a sex scene, and the host was shocked to learn that JT had to wear a sock over his you-know-what. "That seems weirder than actually being naked!" Ellen said, making the 30-year-old singer blush.
Friends with Benefits is set to hit theaters this July, giving Timberlake plenty of time to find a new girl to bring to the premiere, benefits notwithstanding.

The musician-turned-actor will receive the big help award on Saturday at the Kids' Choice Awards in L.A. for his charitable and environmental efforts, DIDNTINVITEME announces exclusively.
"I was inspired at a young age by my parents and family to do everything possible to give back to the world around us," Timberlake, 30, says in a statement. "And it has become a mission of mine to help kids of all ages understand the importance of getting involved in their communities and local charities and doing their part to preserve the planet."
Timberlake has been a dedicated supporter of Shriners Hospitals for Children since 2008, and he hosts an annual PGA golf tournament with a week-long series of events that raises money for programs and services benefiting children in need. He also opened the environmentally friendly Mirimichi Golf Course in Millington, Tenn., which helps the surrounding wildlife habitat and uses less water.
Aside from being a two-time burp award champion, Timberlake has also received two blimps from the Kids' Choice Awards. And he hosted the show in 2007.

Mila Kunis 'Had Nothing to Do' with Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel's Split
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 4:22 PMNot true, says a source close to Timberlake, 30.
"Mila had nothing to do with their break-up," the source says. "In fact, no one came between them. They decided their relationship ran its course and it was time to move on."
But now that he is a single man – and Biel, 29, is stepping out as a single woman – has Timberlake already moved on with Kunis, 28?
"They're not in a relationship," the source says. "They star in a movie called Friends with Benefits but they're just friends. That's it. They are not together."

Despite rumors that he had been cheating on her with TV personality Olivia Munn during a weekend in September, a source tells our friends over @PEOPLE, "There is no truth to the reports. Olivia Munn is not that type of girl."
Last weekend, Timberlake, 29, was hanging out with Biel in a skybox on Sunday during the dramatic ending of the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hosptials for Children Open golf tournament at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. The actress also spent time with Timberlake's family, and was spotted backstage at his Saturday night benefit concert at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, which featured a performance by Christina Aguilera.
After the show, the couple continued their night at Haze Nightclub, arriving hand-in-hand around 2 a.m.
"They were sitting in a private area of the club," a source tells our friends over @PEOPLE. "Most people didn't even know they were there. They were really affectionate and really seemed to be happy."
On Tuesday night, the pair stepped out for dinner at Fraiche in Culver City, Calif. Timberlake was also by his girlfriend's side on Monday night, supporting her at a screening of a short film she directed, which debuted at the Chateau Marmont.
Another source adds, "Justin and Jessica are doing fine."
Reps for Munn and Timberlake had no comment about their clients' personal lives.

Justin Timberlake (Photo Agency)When Justin Timberlake wants to work on his short game, he only has to step into his backyard. The pop heartthrob – who is obsessed with the sedate sport - has paid for a five-hole putting green to be installed at his Los Angeles mansion so he can practice anytime he wants.
A source said: “Justin loves golf and is keen to improve his skills as much as he can. Now, he can sink a few balls whenever the mood takes him.”
The "SexyBack" singer -- who is dating Jessica Biel -- has also had a basketball court installed at the Mulholland Drive property, which he bought for £5 million in 2002.
It seems Justin’s Hollywood home is becoming a shrine to the sport. The 29-year-old singer recently converted one of the larger rooms in his house into a miniature green so he can practice his shots indoors. A source said at the time: “He uses bundled blankets to fill in for sand traps, and overturned couches and tables to serve as hazards.
"When you first see the room, it looks like a tornado has hit it, but then Justin explains that it is perfectly set up to improve his game!"
Justin plays off an impressive six handicap and even owns his own course, the Big Creek Golf Course near Memphis. He also hosts an annual charity Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour event, the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.

Justin Timberlake has been busy filming Bad Teacher with his ex, Cameron Diaz – but he spent some quality time with his real life leading lady Jessica Biel this week.
The couple showed their love for Taylor Swift at the country star’s concert in L.A. Thursday night, popping backstage with a group of friends to greet the singer after the show.
Biel and a group of pals checked out Swift’s "T-Party" room, a backstage lounge set up with pillows, candles and food, while Timberlake had a long chat with Swift (who covered Timberlake’s "What Goes Around...Comes Around" in her set).
Other celebs on hand for the show included Kobe Bryant and family, Jennie Garth and her daughter, Master’s champ Phil Mickelson and Katy Perry, who sang a duet with Swift on Perry’s hit "Hot and Cold."
This was Timberlake and Biel’s second musical outing in as many days: The two were spotted at the Matt Morris show at L.A.’s the Mint on Wednesday night.

Their relationship ended in 2007 after four years together, but now Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are set to rekindle a romance onscreen.
In Bad Teacher, a comedy about romantic rivalry, their characters connect when Diaz, 37 – playing an opportunistic, profanity-spewing middle-school teacher – gets dumped and sets her sights on Timberlake, 29, the school's already spoken for model instructor, according to Variety.
Although they played voice parts in Shrek the Third (Timberlake as a royal nephew to Diaz's ogre queen Fiona), the former lovers have never before acted together in the flesh.
Set to start shooting in L.A. later this month, the film costars SNL alum Molly Shannon, Jason Segal, Lucy Punch and Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's relationship is under constant scrutiny, but they at least have one fan: Justin's mom Lynn Harless. She said she and her husband Paul count the actress as “one of us.” And, she's hoping the "SexyBack" singer hunkers down soon and starts a family. Lynn wants to be a grandma!
Jessica and Justin make a great pair, according to his mom. (Getty)Lynn said about Jessica: "She's amazing. She's so down-to-earth and her family is great. I've had friends who have grandchildren and I've tried to express to Justin that I'm losing that race. But I have grandpuppies. Justin has two boxers and she has a pitbull who's now part of the family. I said, ‘I'll leave you alone about the grandkids as long as you leave the puppies with me.’”Although Lynn was full of praise for Jessica, who has been dating Justin on and off for three years, she refused to say if she thinks the actress is "The One" for her 29-year-old son. She told People magazine: "You should ask him. I've thought that before. They're young. They have plenty of time."
As well as thinking Jessica makes a great girlfriend for Justin, Lynn admires the 29-year-old beauty’s accomplishments. She said: "She was at my house around Christmas and there was this crazy noise coming from my gym. To get ready for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Jessica had the treadmill to the highest level and was running with a 40lb backpack. I want to be her when I grow up."

Look out Peyton Manning – you’ve got some competition in the marketing department from your old pal Justin Timberlake.
The duo famously joined forces earlier this year for a Sony spot that featured them facing off in a game of ping-pong. Now, Timberlake is stepping into the promotional spotlight solo.
On Tuesday, the pop star was captured by photographers filming an ad for the Audi A1 in downtown Los Angeles. Fans will have to content themselves with still photographs, though: the commercial will air in Europe, not the United States.
