Eminem has earned yet another accolade. Rolling Stone has bestowed the rap titan with its current King of Hip-Hop title based on his album sales, YouTube views, and social-media scores.

Not far behind Marshall Mathers is Lil Wayne, who claims second place based on his album and ticket sales, online rankings, and awards, while his Young Money cohort Drake comes in third.

The list is not a ranking of all-time greatest MCs. Instead, the magazine selected 20 solo rappers who have dropped an album from 2009 through the first seven months of 2011. The positions were determined by album sales, rankings on the R&B/hip-hop and rap charts, YouTube views, social media, concert grosses, industry awards, and critics’ ratings.

Contenders included Big Boi, B.o.B, Diddy, Drake, Eminem, Fabolous, Lupe Fiasco, Gucci Mane, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Kanye West, and Wiz Khalifa.

Despite the “king” title, Nicki Minaj is the sole female on the list, beating out some of her male peers for the No. 6 spot. See the full list below.

Estelle suffers from romantic woes on “Break My Heart” featuring Rick Ross, the first single from her third album All of Me. With a soul-inflected beat, the midnight jam touts an intro verse from Rozay, who sets the stage for the British songbird to fall in love.

“All these stars out and these people know my name/ I can be so pretentious, but he likes me all the same/ And these lights are glowing, but he don’t want none/ He’d rather chill and hold me, maybe he could be the one,” she ponders.

Leap into summer with the breezy Don Cannon production.

Lil Wayne surprises fans by dropping “If I Die Today,” a reworked version of Rick Ross’ album cut “I’m Not a Star” from last year’s Teflon Don. Weezy adds his own deadly verses to the Bawse’s original hard-hitting record produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League.

“If I die today, remember me like John Lennon/ Buried in Louis, I’m talking all brown linen,” raps Tunechi on the hook, throwing it to a grunting Rozay, who flaunts his Teflon Don status. “Rip you apart, then I put myself together/ YMCMB, Double M, we rich forever.”

Listen to the hip-hop heavyweights bury the track alive.

Rick Ross takes a break from his “Maybach Music” series to focus on a different luxury vehicle in the lavish video for his latest single “Aston Martin Music” featuring Drake and Chrisette Michele. A young Ricky Rozay has dreams of pushing the flashy whip and is seen years later cruising down the Miami streets with the top down and a chick by his side.

Oohh fancy, fancy. Check out the official track listing to Rick Ross' fourth studio album, "Teflon Don." The album is led by single, "Super High," featuring Ne-Yo and I'm liking what I'm seeing as far as appearances. I'm looking forward to that Trey, Diddy collabo, the third installment of "Maybach Music," and I wonder what kind of chemistry Rick and Gucci will have on "MC Hammer." Oh and those Jay and Kanye joints are a given. "Teflon Don" hits shelves July 20th, save your unemployment checks.

Rick Ross Robbed?

So Rick Ross allegedly got jacked for his jewels…again. But this time by some strippers. Check out this video of him in a Nashville hotel lobby after a performance looking like he’s about to go get it in with these women of class:

DJ Envy interviewed Rick Ross on SIRIUS XM Radio to discuss his beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit (“I’mma disrespect them monkeys forever”), working with Ja Rule on the “Mafia Music (Remix),” and his thoughts on Eminem’s “We Made You” video (“His swag ain’t the same”). DJ Khaled and Akon also call in.

50 Cent is not playing. In his latest attack against Rick Ross, the G-Unit frontman has released a 13-and-a-half-minute porn tape starring Brooke, the mother of Ross’ daughter, engaging in sexual acts with another man. The video was reportedly filmed in June 2008 while the Miami rapper was on tour.

50 plays his alter-ego Pimpin’ Curly as he provides commentary throughout the X-rated clip, which has made its way to the Internet. But you’ll have to do some Googling to find it.

Here's a video of Rick Ross commenting on the video

Apparently desperate to distance himself from any affiliation with law enforcement, the rapper Rick Ross has recently denounced as fake photos purporting to show him in a former career as a Florida prison guard. But Department of Corrections (DoC) records show that Ross, whose raps detail the Miami gangster lifestyle and his supposed days trafficking cocaine, did, in fact, work as a correctional officer for 18 months. Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts) was appointed a prison guard in December 1995 at a salary of $22,913.54, according to the below personnel record, which was provided to TSG by Jo Ellyn Rackleff, a DoC spokesperson. The rapper's social security number is identical to that of the jail guard. According to the official document, Ross was earning $25,794.34 when he resigned in June 1997. After graduating from the DoC training academy, Ross was assigned to the South Florida Reception Center in Dade County (the lockup is one of three statewide that serves as an intake facility for new prisoners). See Rick's response below:
