Tiger Woods and his wife are holed up in their Florida mansion and undergoing intense marriage counseling, according to reports.

As the scandal involving Woods's alleged extramarital affairs continues to develop, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Woods, 33, and Nordegren, 29, are having marital counseling sessions – several times a day – in the privacy of their Windemere, Fla., mansion.

Both of their mothers have been in contact, the paper reports, to help the couple save their marriage, and Tiger's mom, Kultida Woods, is reportedly grateful that her son's two children – Sam Alexis, 2, and Charlie Axel, born in February – are too young to realize what is going on. "This story will be ancient history by the time they are old enough to learn about it,'' a source told the Sun-Times.

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Beast.com, Nordegren is negotiating an immediate $5 million payout from her husband and revising her prenup, reported at $20 million at the time of their 2004 marriage, to give her as much as $55 million if she stays with her husband for two more years.

And don't worry about the pair constantly running into one another at home in the gated community with a private golf course near Orlando: The 6,692 sq. ft., three-level house has 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, and is valued at 2.648 million.

Woods hasn't been seen leaving the house since his one-car accident on Nov. 27. Nordegren, wearing sunglasses, was spotted driving away last Saturday to an undisclosed location, but returned home shortly after.

Chris Brown is featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of VIBE Magazine. In the release, the singer gives an interview where he discusses several issues including his new album and, of course, ‘the incident’ involving ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown’s new LP, ‘Graffiti’

This cover is sure to stir up a slew of controversy! However, regarding the question of whether or not people are “still down” with Brown, it’s clear that many would respond with a resounding “yes!” His album has thus far received generally favourable reviews from the critics and several predict that he will enjoy decent first week sales. Now it’s time to see if consumers are willing to support his project. You can peep the alternate cover of the issue featuring rapper Drake above

Legendary diva Whitney Houston’s comeback LP ‘I Look To You’ has been certified Platinum by the RIAA, her team announced today. Important to stress is that the critically-acclaimed album, which was released in August, achieved such a feat for sales in excess of 1 million in the US, and not just shipments (there’s a difference folks)

The incomparable Lady GaGa features in the January 2010 issue of Elle Magazine. GaGa, 23, talks in the magazine of the stress of working so hard, sexuality and her romantic future. Check out the insightful excerpts from the piece below, as well as more pics:

On bodily reactions to stress:
“I get all the symptoms of a pregnant woman. I get headaches, I get tired, I get blurred vision sometimes during a really intense session with [her creative team] the Haus.”
On a recurring theme in her work: “I feel that if I can show my demise artistically to the public, I can somehow cure my own legend. I can show you so you’re not looking for it. I’m dying for you on domestic television—here’s what it looks like, so no one has to wonder.”

On being a former waitress:
“I was really good at it. I always got big tips. I always wore heels to work! I told everybody stories, and for customers on dates, I kept it romantic. It’s kind of like performing.”

On using her sexuality:
“My album covers are not sexual at all, which was an issue at my record label. I fought for months, and I cried at meetings. They didn’t think the photos were commercial enough…The last thing a young woman needs is another picture of a sexy pop star writhing in sand, covered in grease, touching herself.”

On her romantic future:
“In eight to 10 years, I want to have babies for my Dad to hold, grandkids. And I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I would never leave my career for a man right now, and I would never follow a man around.”

Despite the lackluster sales of her latest album, Amerie is not breaking a sweat. The R&B star is looking past the initial weeks and toward the bigger picture.

The “Heard ’Em All” singer’s fourth studio album In Love & War sold 12,500 copies in its first week, debuting at No. 46 on the Billboard 200. She spoke to Rap-Up.com about the sales figures.

“It’s a very weird time. I didn’t worry about it ’cause I felt like it’s not about the first week,” she said. “I knew when the album came out, it wasn’t coming out with a big hit ’cause we just went to radio with the ‘Pretty Brown’ record two weeks before the album came out, so we already knew it was going to be one of those over time things vs. a first week thing, which is cool.”

Amerie did not set expectations for herself based on the unpredictable state of the music industry. “There’s no way to tell right now. I was actually curious ’cause I kept saying, ‘This is interesting, going to radio with a song and two weeks later your album is coming out.’ I’ve never really done it like that before.”

The album was not immediately available on iTunes on its release day, but Amerie doesn’t fault anyone for the error. “That was weird. I don’t know what happened with that. The people at iTunes are really cool. I just thought that was so odd. They tried to fix it as fast as they could.”

Next up, she is planning to shoot a video for “More Than Love” with Fabolous.

New albums from Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Shakira, and Birdman were all released last week, but they were no competition for Susan Boyle.

The debut album from the former “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant easily grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 701,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The number gives her the best sales week for an album in the U.S. this year, besting Eminem’s Relapse, which moved 608,000 units in its opening week.

Boyle smashes more than one record. Her album I Dreamed a Dream also marks the best first week for a female artist’s debut since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991. Ashanti, whose self-titled debut sold 503,000 copies in 2002, previously held the title.

Rihanna scores her best sales week yet with her fourth album Rated R, which opens at No. 4 with 181,000. Her previous effort, 2007’s Good Girl Gone Bad, entered at No. 2 with 162,000.

Lady Gaga unleashes her eight-song EP The Fame Monster at No. 5 with 174,000, while her first album The Fame moves from No. 34 to No. 6 (151,000) based on combined sales of her debut and deluxe packaging of The Fame Monster.

Elsewhere, “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert’s debut For Your Entertainment arrives at No. 3 (198,000), Shakira’s She Wolf crawls to No. 15 (89,000), Birdman’s Pricele$$ cashes in at No. 29 (36,000), and his Cash Money cohort Jay Sean lands stateside at No. 33 (31,000) with All or Nothing.

Jay Sean links up with Lil Jon and Sean Paul in the video for his next chart-topper “Do You Remember.” The Gil Green-directed clip was filmed on the Universal backlot in Hollywood and features cameos from his Cash Money affiliates Birdman and Tyga.

The Londoner recently told Now magazine which artists he admires. “I look up to Jay-Z for his longevity, Eminem for breaking racial boundaries, and Beyoncé for her triple threat: her looks, her dancing, and her sin

Alicia Keys and Shakira got in the holiday spirit by performing on NBC’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center.” Alicia sang “Little Drummer Girl” on a rooftop while Shakira heated up Rockefeller Plaza with her sexy rendition of “Santa Baby.” Aretha Franklin, sporting the latest in headwear, opened with “Joy to the World.”

Even the legendary Stevie Wonder couldn’t hold back his emotions while paying tribute to Michael Jackson at the 25th Anniversary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame concert. Stevie broke down while performing “The Way You Make Me Feel” with John Legend, but soldiered through.

Britney Spears celebrated her 28th birthday on Wednesday surrounded by the men in her life – boyfriend Jason Trawick and sons Preston and Jayden.

The singer and her agent beau Trawick, 37, started the celebration a day early Tuesday night at L.A.'s Mondrian hotel, where Spears also enjoyed spa services, a source tells PEOPLE.

That night, the couple went to the Sunset strip, visiting both the Saddleback Ranch restaurant and Chateau Marmont. The next day, they shopped at West Hollywood's Fred Segal boutique before reuniting with the pop star's sons Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, at her home in Calabasas.

"Britney looked so happy," says an eyewitness. "She seemed very excited to spend her morning with Jason."

Spears was also thrilled to get to be with her two boys on her B-day, says another source. "Britney is very happy to spend the day with Preston and Jayden. The kids know it's her birthday … [They] are very excited about Britney's cake too."

Britney's Ex Celebrates Too

While Spears hung with her sons at home, ex-husband Kevin Federline celebrated his girlfriend Victoria Prince's birthday – which happens to fall on the same day as Spears's.

Federline, 31, and Prince, 27, had a late lunch at Mexican restaurant Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks, Calif. "She looked very pretty when she arrived for her bash," says an observer.

Federline, who sources says has lost about 30 lbs. since joining the cast of VH1's upcoming Celebrity Fit Club, "joked how it's about time he gets some proper food," according to an eyewitness.

B.E.P's are all smiles and Keri Hilson counts her blessings after scoring two nominations for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Major categories were announced during “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!” which aired from Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Wednesday (Dec. 2). LL Cool J hosted, Maxwell and the Black Eyed Peas performed, and Drake and T-Pain made appearances

Hold onto your seat cushion, Kanye West: It's on – again!

Taylor Swift's amazing year continued at full speed as the teen sensation received eight Grammy nominations Wednesday – topped only by Beyoncé's 10.

And with West not far behind, joining the Black Eyed Peas and Maxwell with six nods each from their music-industry peers, the stage is set for another awards show showdown. But can it top West's bizarre microphone grab during Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Awards?

Naming the Grammy nominees was no quiet affair, either. Kicking off the big reveal was George Lopez , who was star struck by Smokey Robinson and Ringo Starr staring at him from ringside at Wednesday's The Grammy Nominations Concert Live: Countdown to Music's Biggest Night at LA's Club Nokia. Still, the comic and TV host still found the words to announce the nominations for Song of the Year.

And they would be Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," Maxwell's "Pretty Wings," Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody" and Swift's "You Belong With Me."

In the Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals category, the nominees are the Black Eyed Peas, for "I Gotta Feeling"; Bon Jovi, for "We Weren't Born to Follow"; The Fray, for "Never Say Never"; Darryl Hall and John Oates, for "Sarah Smile"; and MGMT, for "Kids."

Katy Perry announced the Best Rock Album contenders: AC/DC, for Black Ice; Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, for Live from Madison Square Garden; Green Day, for 21st Century Breakdown; Dave Matthews Band, for Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King; and U2, for "No Line on the Horizon"].

Dwight Yoakum named the Best County Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal hopefuls: Brooks and Dunn, for "Cowgirls Don't Cry"; the Zac Brown Band, for "Chicken Fried"; Lady Antebellum, for "I Run to You"; Rascal Flatts, for "Here Comes Goodbye"; and Sugarland, for "It Happens."

A Taylor/Kanye Clash?

Robinson and Starr had the honor of naming those in the running for Record of the Year and Album of the Year. For Record: Beyoncé's "Halo,", Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling," Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody," Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and Swift's "You Belong With Me."

"Don't worry, Taylor," advised Robinson. "Kanye West is not here."

Album of the Year nominees are Beyoncé's I Am Sasha Fierce, the Black Eyed Peas' The End, the Dave Matthews Band's Big Whiskey and Swift's Fearless.

The hour-long nominations concert, broadcast on CBS, also featured a tribute to the late Michael Jackson, performed by Maxwell, as well as the debut of Nick Jonas & the Administration, who were introduced by Nick's brothers, Kevin and Joe.

The concert emcee was LL Cool J, whose opening routine contained the lyrical phrase, "No need to adjust your TV/It's not Hugh Jackman/It's a black man."

Rihanna is breaking from tradition and going with a different director for her “Hard” video.

The Rated R singer will shoot a video this week for the Tricky Stewart and Dream production with director Melina Matsoukas, reports Just Jared. This will be her first time working with Melina, who has directed clips for Beyoncé, Ciara, and Whitney Houston. RiRi has remained loyal to director Anthony Mandler, who helmed twelve of her music videos, including her latest “Russian Roulette.”

Rihanna is preparing for a busy week ahead. After she finishes shooting in Los Angeles, she will perform a show for her MySpace fans on Thursday at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom followed by “SNL” on Saturday.

We already knew Lady Gaga was fascinating, but now Barbara Walters is making it official. The pop star has made the ABC News journalist’s annual list of the most-talked-about personalities in entertainment, sports, politics, and pop culture.

Gaga’s interview will air during “Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009” special on December 9 at 10 p.m. on ABC. She is in the company of Sarah Palin, Tyler Perry, Glenn Beck, Kate Gosselin, and Brett Favre, among others

Florida authorities are closing the car accident case on Tiger Woods, and will not do more than issue a minor traffic ticket with a possible $164 fine to the golfer.

"The investigation has concluded that Mr. Woods is at fault in the crash," a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman said Tuesday afternoon at a press conference, saying that they found that Woods, 33, had not driven in a "careful and prudent manner" when he was hurt in a one-car crash outside his Orlando home.

In addition to the fine, the careless-driving citation could give Woods four points on his driver's license, if he is found guilty. There will be no criminal charges, and the case is closed, the spokeswoman said.

Police said there were no claims of domestic violence in the case and "there was insufficient evidence available to issue a subpoena for additional medical information that may exist."

"Mr. Woods has satisfied the requirements of Florida law by providing" his driver's license, registration, and insurance information, and was not required to submit to interviews or give evidence, she said.

The FHP spokeswoman refused to take questions, and it's fairly certain those surrounding the famed golfer will continue to circulate.

That Jennifer Lopez honeymoon tape just went from Rated X to PG.

"There wasn't anything close to sex in it," Lopez's attorney John Lavely tells PEOPLE. "We never alleged that. But it's still private and personal to my client."

A Los Angeles judge agreed Tuesday, upholding a ruling that Lopez's ex, Ojani Noa, is forbidden from using 11-plus hours of home video – 20 percent of which allegedly features Lopez – for a mockumentary about his life as a Cuban immigrant, previously titled How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story.

"They're trying to stop me from making my documentary and I'm fighting for my rights," said Noa outside the courtroom. "They're not being fair." The aspiring actor and model denies he ever tried to peddle the footage as a sex tape.

The footage has scenes from the ex-couple's marriage in Florida and honeymoon in Cuba, Noa's film partner Claudia Vazquez tells PEOPLE, but the project was misrepresented by a tabloid as being sexual, she says. Vazquez adds the project's title has since been changed to The Escape in reference to Noa having fled his home country.

Noa, 35, who's also being sued for $10 million by Lopez for breach of contract, insists that two confidentiality agreements he previously signed about their relationship "should be voided" because he claims he was taken advantage of and was misinformed.

He said he plans to take the videotape case to trial.

With only one day left before nominees are announced for the 52nd annual Grammy Awards, the industry is buzzing about who’ll make the cut – and why one of the year's biggest hitmakers is ineligible.

Lady Gaga sold more than 1.5 million copies of The Fame, but the costumed diva won’t be recognized in the Best New Artist category due to her nomination in the Best Dance Recording category for "Just Dance" last year. However, we’ll most likely see her in the Album, Record or Song of the year categories.

Gaga’s exclusion mirrors last year’s snub of Jennifer Hudson in the same category due to her 2007 nomination in the Outstanding Motion Picture Soundtrack Compilation category for Dreamgirls.

Could it be time for the Grammys to consider changing their rules? "This particular issue in the Best New Artist category is on our radar and I would expect changes to address it in next year's voting," Grammy president Neil Portnow tells PEOPLE.

Other artists to watch this year include Taylor Swift, U2, Beyoncé, Maxwell, Green Day, the Black Eyed Peas, Keri Hilson and Kings of Leon.

But, don’t expect to see Michael Jackson as a major contender. Though he won big at the American Music Awards, the soundtrack for This Is It missed the Sept. 1 cutoff date. But, the release of Motown box set Hello World The Complete Motown Solo Collection could very well make the cut in historical categories.

Watch the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, live on CBS – and catch up on all the news and style from the show on PEOPLE.com!

Wezzy's Busy Week!

Lil Wayne celebrated not one, but two of his babies’ birthdays over the weekend. The proud papa and his baby mama Toya hosted a pajama party for their daughter Reginae’s 11th birthday at Atlanta’s Room Service Lounge on Saturday (Nov. 28). Guests included Monica and her sons, T-Pain, Tiny, Kandi Burruss, and the New Boyz, who performed. On Monday, Weezy’s other baby mother Nivea reportedly gave birth to a son named Neal. OFFICIAL congrats are in order for Lil Wayne and Nivea. Weezy has welcomed his second boy/fourth child and Nivea has welcomed her fourth child tonight. Lil Wayne’s other two exes Lauren London and Antonia Carter both Tweeted the news tonight:

RT @antoniacarter Congrats to Nivea and Wayne…its a Boy!!! (Beautiful and blessed)

Sweet. False alarms hit the net last week but Nivea let everyone know she was actually still pregnant. Until now.

On another note, seems like all of Wayne’s exes/mother of his children are BFFs. That makes things easy.

The holidays are all about bringing people together. And that’s exactly what happened when three of R&B’s biggest stars joined forces with artists outside their genre for some special holiday duets on Monday’s “Oprah.”

Alicia Keys and Tim McGraw covered John Lennon’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” Mary J. Blige sang “What Child Is This” with Andrea Bocelli, and Jennifer Hudson dueted with Sugarland on “Silent Night.”

The boy's got chops!

Learning the moves of a true martial arts fighter, Will Smith's youngest son Jaden Smith is proving he has what it takes when he stars opposite Jackie Chan in a remake of the 1984 classic, The Karate Kid, due in theaters June 11.

"I trained every day for four months with Master Wu [the film's fight coordinator]," Jaden, 11, tells PEOPLE as he takes on his first leading role as an American boy named Dre Parker who moves to China. "We did a lot of stretching."

Jaden mastered front kicks and upper blocks through his hard work ethic and dedication, says Chan, 55, who plays maintenance man Mr. Han – an unlikely friend to Jaden's character. "He took the training very seriously. I was very impressed with him," he adds.

While filming in Beijing, including atop the Great Wall of China, Chan was more than a martial arts mentor to his young costar. "Jackie taught me to ask, 'My left or camera left?'" says Jaden on learning the important directions of acting in front of the movie camera. "That helped."

As the two stars built a dynamic relationship on screen, the teacher and student bond translated into real life. "Jaden had a lot of respect for me as his teacher, even off the set," says Chan. "He is professional as many adult actors who have been in the business for years."

And, as Jaden became a true karate kid, he realized that there is more to martial arts than just the kicking and punching – there are lasting lessons of obedience to be instilled. In fact Jaden's parents appreciate the discipline he learned. "His dad told me that Jaden had changed," says Chan. "When he takes his shoes off, he doesn't throw them in the corner, but puts them away neatly!"

Not all the bad news out of Australia about Britney Spears is true.

Although she was in fact embroiled in a lip-syncing controversy, reports that her agent-boyfriend Jason Trawick abruptly left the country after rejecting her wedding proposal are "100 percent absolutely false," says a source close to the couple. "There was no proposal and they were never engaged."

The couple of more than six months had spent time together across Australia with her two boys, Preston and Jayden, while Spears performed on stops of her Circus tour. When Trawick headed back to L.A. instead of spending the holidays it was simply a matter of logistics. "Jason spent more time in Australia than originally planned," says the source. "They are very happy."

How much does Nike love Tiger Woods? The shoe maker is paying him a reported $40 million to endorse its products – and now has given him a vote of confidence after Friday's car crash.

"Tiger and his family have Nike's full support," the company said in a statement Monday. "We respect Tiger's request for privacy and our thoughts are with Tiger and his family at this time."

Woods, 33, has backed out of his last golf tournament of the year, the Chevron World Challenge in California, citing unspecified injuries from the accident.

Janet On Alicia!!!

Out of all the pop princesses who came after her, Janet Jackson holds a special place in her heart for one in particular.

Miss Jackson reveals to The Times that she “loves” Alicia Keys’ music and spirit. “She has such a beautiful soul,” she tells the U.K. newspaper. “I love her for that. There’s not a lot of them.”

In addition to Keys, the 43-year-old singer “enjoys” Lady Gaga and appreciates the flattery from her younger peers. “I think it’s great for someone to emulate you,” she says. “It lets you know that they’ve watched your work and admired what it is you’ve done.”

Jackson’s greatest hits album Number Ones is available now.
