Rihanna (Bauer Griffin)Rihanna admits she feels terribly guilty for missing her close pal Katy Perry's nuptials to Russell Brand in India last month due to work commitments.

She told KIIS-FM DJ Ryan Seacrest: "I will never ever forgive myself for that, it was a crazy time, it was a crazy week, I'm switching management. There was no phone service in India and very little-to-no internet service, so it would have been a little irresponsible of me. I'm sad that I missed it."

Although she didn't attend the wedding, Rihanna recently revealed she got the newlyweds an amazing present, saying: "I got her a really, really cool gift. But I'll let her tell you about that!"

Sources had claimed Katy and Russell had reserved Rihanna a room at the Aman-i-Khas resort in Rajasthan, India, in the hope she would make it.

One said: "It was always sort of up in the air that she would go anyway, and Katy knew that. They saved her a room just in case, but they always knew it would be nearly impossible for her to make it as she's still finishing the album and it's out in a few weeks. Rih was in the studio all weekend."

Last month, Rihanna announced she had signed a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation management team.

She said at the time: "I'm so excited to take this next step in my career."

The annual New York City tradition will kick off the holiday season with performances and appearances by Kanye, Keri, The Roots, India.Arie, and Jessica Simpson, as well as Miranda Cosgrove, Juanes, Eric Hutchinson, and Gladys Knight.

The parade, taking place on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 25 at 9 a.m.), will feature signature helium balloons, floats, marching bands, and more, as well as a big shot cameo from Santa Claus. The procession will make its way past Central Park and end up at Macy’s Herald Square, entertaining millions tuning in to watch the seasonal festivities

Willow Smith made her television debut on Tuesday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” performing her breakout hit “Whip My Hair.” The 10-year-old fashionista kicked it off by singing a few lines from Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” before busting out her empowering anthem with her Warriorettes crew.

“I was really nervous,” said a hyperventilating Willow following the performance. Ellen chatted with her and presented her with a customized neck brace so she can continue whipping her hair in style.

The songbird, 41, will appear in an ABC special, Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to You, to air Dec. 13 (9 p.m. ET).

Carey will sing from the historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles, performing classics and other songs from her new holiday album, Merry Christmas II You.

The show will also feature the multi-Grammy winner surprising fans by granting their special wishes.

The latest Mission: Impossiblemovie looks like a real high-wire act for Tom Cruise.

The actor, 48, was photographed filming a terrifying stunt for the film on Saturday in Dubai, dangling from the observation deck of the Burj Kahlifa, the world's tallest building, as filmmakers shot an action sequence – and fans watched, hearts in mouths, some 2,700 feet below.



The antics on the glass exterior of the 124-story edifice might seem extreme, but it was par for the course for Cruise. The actor is well known for performing his own stunts, and even meticulously choreographing them with his directors.

Last month, a shirtless Cruise was spotted revealing a toned physique and performing another daring stunt while shooting Mission: Impossible IV in Prague.

Our thoughts are going out to Disney darling Demi Lovato today as TMZ reports she just canceled her international tour and checked into a treatment center to get help for "emotional and physical issues."

Apparently Demi isn't entering the facility for drug use, and a source says some sort of physical altercation with a female member of her tour team was the final straw. "Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help," the rep said. 
"She is doing just that."

She was out on tour with the Jonas Brothers (she previously dated Joe Jonas) before entering the medical facility. 

Her rep also said: "[Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."

She also shut down her Twitter account October 30.

Following in the footsteps of his music industry peers, the super-producer revealed that he may be releasing his own free music on Thursdays.

“So my brother told me kanye is puttin out a new song every friday call good fridays, swizz got mondays,” said Timbo, who recently joined Twitter. “I dont know if they are on twitter but can you hit them up and tell them reserve that thursday for timbo da king baby. We’ll call it timbo thursday cool?”

T.I. bid his friends and family adieu today, returning to prison to start serving his 11-month sentence. The King of the South checked into an Arkansas facility earlier this afternoon, turning himself in after getting arrested for violating his probation.


“Hey yall #teamTI will be holding me down on this front with updates until I return. Thx for your continued support. In a minute….#NoMercy,” tweeted the rapper before heading off to do his bid.

Tip will go through the regular process once arriving at his new home, meaning he will be processed, photographed, and given a bunk assignment, reports TMZ.

Less than a year ago, the Atlanta rapper found himself in a similar situation after pleading guilty to federal weapons charges. He served 10 months behind bars in Arkansas and was released in December.

Meanwhile, his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle was charged with drug possession following her September arrest in Los Angeles. If convicted, she could face a year-long sentence.

And while there’s no word yet on what precisely eau de Taylor will smell like, you’ll be able to find out for yourself when it launches in the fall of next year.
