In less time than it takes to sing the hook to “Run the World (Girls),” Beyoncé sold out the first of her four New York shows.

The pop superstar announced “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé,” a series of four intimate performances at New York City’s famed Roseland Ballroom. Tickets went on sale today with the first show on August 14 selling out in a lightening-fast 22 seconds.

Those who weren’t able to get tickets to the first show on Sunday can try their luck at three other dates set for August 16, 18, and 19. Tickets for the remaining nights go on sale throughout the day and are expected to all sell out.

Beyoncé will perform her new album 4 in its entirety at these special concerts.

Rihanna was spotted on the beach in Barbados wearing a pair of Missoni Aden Crochet pants ($737). These multi-colored crochet fabric pants feature an elastic band waist and leg cuffs. Do you like Rihanna’s look?

“Justin And Selena As One” — that’s not the title of the latest gossip mag headline, it’s the official name of the nude portrait of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Artist Daniel Edwards, of Britney-Spears-giving-birth-on-a-bearskin-rug -culpture-infamy, has returned with this artistic commentary on pop culture’s latest relationship obsession. We’re not sure what to say about the imagery of the teen pop stars conjoined at the hip, ” . . . with a Canadian maple leaf and a Texas lone star covering their most intimate parts,” says Splash. At the very least, the Who Says songbird will not be pleased that she looks even less like herself than on her Fame comic book cover.

The country crooner displayed a temporary tattoo she got at the Miami Express Yourself Oasis inspired by the promises her husband made to her on their big day while attending the Lollapalooza music festival this past weekend in Chicago – where Cibrian is also filming The Playboy Club.

"You gave me the courage to be truthful," the ink, etched on her ribcage, reads. "I promise to give you the comfort to be trustful."

Rimes says she's "just trying something, playing" for now – although it may be more permanent than she originally intended.

"Too funny!" she Tweeted. "I can't get it off. In search of rubbing alcohol I think!"

Cibrian, 38, and Rimes, 28, met on a movie set in 2008 and both ended their respective marriages to be together.

Just when we thought her meat dress couldn’t be topped, along comes Lady Gaga looking like … well, nobody else we know.

In fact this guise, known as Jo Calderone, is a male alter-ego creation of Gaga (and stylist Nicola Formichetti's). He's an attitude-rich toughie not likely to take any nonsense. The picture serves as the cover of the singer's latest single, "Yoü and I."

As for the inspiration behind the look, Gaga explained via Twitter: "You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don't love yourself. #You&ISingleCover." (She also Tweeted the the photo.)

If you weren’t excited for Mary J. Blige’s new album, Pharrell is about to change that. The super-producer, who usually keeps quiet when it comes to his collaborations, couldn’t contain his excitement over the R&B vet’s project.

“You got to hear her. All I’m saying is, When ya’ll hear MJB’s album, the queen is back! That’s all I gotta say,” said an enthusiastic Pharrell during an episode of Jermaine Dupri’s vlog series “Living the Life.”

My Life II: The Journey Continues, the sequel to Mary’s 1994 sophomore LP, is slated for a fall release. In addition to Pharrell, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul has been in the studio with J.D., Rico Love, Swizz Beatz, songwriter Andrea Martin, and Nicki Minaj, who appears on “Feel Inside.”

“She’s brought black music back on such an incredible level,” added P. “It’s amazing the kind of musicianship and the kind of poetry that’s on this album. This is one of the most amazing albums I’ve heard in a long time. I am so honored to be a part of it because it’s someone I like, admire, and is also a legend. When you guys hear this shit, reefer sales gon’ go up.”

We’re not sure exactly what he means, but we’re sold.

If you happened to shut your eyes for a split second and missed Rihanna in the recent Battleship trailer, you’re in luck — a new promo shot from the sure-to-be future Oscar winner (*cough*) featuring the “Cheers” songstress has been released. Here we see Ri Ri’s character, Petty Officer Raikes, aiming what looks to be a boat-mounted punt gun while conjuring up her best “I am intensely fierce” face. Of course, if the producers really wanted to sell tickets to this video game flick, they should have let Rihanna opt for her beach-blanket-Barbados wardrobe.

Jay-Z and Kanye West are on their way to conquering the charts. The rap kings’ monumental album Watch the Throne is shaping up to have a blockbuster week.

The album only hit iTunes today, but early estimates are already in. In less than 24 hours, Throne has hit No. 1 on iTunes in over 20 countries. The album, which avoided leaking in advance, is on track to sell at least 400,000 to 500,000 copies in its first week in the U.S., according to Billboard.

Based on these figures, that would give Jay and Kanye the second-largest sales week of the year, behind Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, which opened with 1.1 million units.

Watch the Throne is available exclusively at iTunes until Friday, when it expands to other digital retailers and physical stores. Best Buy will carry the deluxe version exclusively from August 12-22.

Official first-week sales will be released on Wednesday, August 17.

Jaleel White stars as Cee Lo Green in the throwback video for “Cry Baby,” a cut off his Lady Killer album. The actor, famous for playing Steve Urkel on “Family Matters,” coldly breaks up with his girl before busting out into song and dance in the streets. Watch as he charms the ladies with his debonair ways and smooth moves in the 1950s-era clip. No wonder they call him the Lady Killer.

Technically, this arty black-and-white trailer is for the duo’s upcoming Watch The Throne tour, but it gets us even more excited for the joint LP’s release on iTunes this coming Monday. And not a moment before — Jay-Z’s manager John Meneilly has assured “It is not going to leak,” as digital and physical copy releases were staggered to prevent such a thing from happening. Maybe Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson should employ the same method for their next records?

Justin Bieber raps alongside Chris Brown on “Ladies Love Me,” one of the standout cuts on Breezy’s hip-hop mixtape Boy in Detention. Shortly after the mixtape’s release, the song became a trending topic on Twitter.

Chris samples himself (“Look at Me Now”) on the David Banner production, but it’s Justin who steals the show, rapping as his alter-ego Shawty Mane. The teen sensation brags about having swag like Patrick Swayze, name checks Lauryn Hill, and even channels Big Sean’s flow.

Does Biebs have a future in hip-hop? Tell us your thoughts.

Nicole Scherzinger was a guest and performer on Thursday’s “Lopez Tonight.” The leggy singer laughed while chatting with the talk show host about being denied entry into “bouncyland,” being recognized by a fan during a bikini wax in Paris, and her judging gig on “The X Factor.” Afterward, she performed her single “Right There” off her U.S. debut Killer Love, now due November 15.

Kelly Rowland put on her cap and gown and marched down to Union Square in New York City to help motivate students during the Boys & Girls Club back-to-school season kick-off event. Earlier in the day, the 30-year-old singer appeared on the “Today” show to speak about her involvement with the organization, her new album Here I Am, and deal with Sean John.

Kelly shared that she was able to carve out her own niche with her latest solo project, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. “For this album, I didn’t want to put myself in a box,” she told hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. “I just really felt on this record, it was a defining moment for me in the studio.”

In other exciting news, the Destiny’s Child alum has been named spokeswoman for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new female fragrance Sean John Empress. “It just really celebrates a woman being unique and powerful and beautiful in her own right, and celebrating all our idiosyncrasies,” she explained.

Nicki Minaj is known for her various alter-egos, and now she’s about to take one of her many personalities to the big screen. The Pink Friday rapper will lend her voice to the animated 3D flick Ice Age: Continental Drift.

According to Variety, Minaj has been added to an all-star cast that includes her fellow Young Money rapper Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Queen Latifah, Aziz Ansari, Wanda Sykes, and Keke Palmer, among others.

But that’s not the only voice-over gig Nicki has booked. In addition to her movie role, she will guest on Fox’s animated TV series “The Cleveland Show” this fall.

The fourth installment in the Ice Age series is slated for release on July 13, 2012, while “The Cleveland Show” returns this fall.

It was both relieving and encouraging to see Sean Kingston hit the stage for a song with Nicki Minaj a few weeks ago — after his jet-ski accident in May, things weren’t looking good for the “Beautiful Girls” singer. “I’m blessed to overcome a tragic situation,” he told Natalie Morales of the Today Show. And he’s not kidding — after almost drowning during the initial crash, Kingston had to undergo emergency open heart surgery for doctors to fix a torn aorta that released fluid into his heart.

Kingston, who reportedly lost 70 lbs since his accident (that’s like three-fourths a Bieber!), was finally able to meet his rescuer — Coast Guard officer Jonathan Rivera, who was off-duty when he saw Kingston fall into the water but sprung into action anyway. “I love you, my brother,” Kingston tells Rivera.

The singer is currently out of the hospital an is continuing his rehabilitation — though that hasn’t stopped him from filming new music videos and taking joyrides in his Rolls Royce with Justin Bieber.

DIM: How would you describe your personal style?
I really feel the most comfortable in a baseball cap, a tank top and jeans. And now of course it's sumer, so a pair of shorts and converse. I would say my normal style is casual hipster, but when it's time to get dressed up and go out I like to dress really nice and put on beautiful high-fashion clothes.DIM: What is your favorite part of modeling?
All the really cool people that you get to make friendships and relationships with and being able to have the freedom to go wherever you want with those friends. I'm 20 years old at the moment and I'm just enjoying life and sucking every piece of this moment in.DIM: What is the hardest part?
Obviously, I think most people would agree, but just being away from my family. I'm very family oriented and I love my family and everyone's from LA and no one's here in New York, but I'm the one who lives in New York so it's very difficult to be distant from my family when I'm away.DIM: What do you hope to be doing in five years? Any specific career goals?
Well, I'm going to be honest, I love my fashion career and I love living in New York but hopefully in five years I'll be able to move back to LA just because that's where my family is. I don't know, you never know where you're going to end up, you just have to remain happy and secure with where you're living. I don't know where I'll be, I just know I'm going to be in a better place than today. I mean every day you grow, so it will definitely be something. I actually look forward to five years from now.
DIM: What makes you feel beautiful?
Having beautiful people around always makes you feel beautiful and confident. Like positive energy. For me it's all about energy and connections.DIM: Do you have any advice for aspiring models or younger girls in general?
Just believe in yourself. I just tell my niece, no matter if you want to be a model or an actress, you just have to be confident. Everything happens for a reason. If it doesn't happen for you then it's not meant for you, but if it does happen for you then make the best out of it and be the best.

It's a bird, it's a plane – it's the new Superman!

Henry Cavill will be taking over the role the late Christopher Reeve made famous in the upcoming film Man of Steel, and with his dashing good looks and rock-hard body, The Tudors star looks the part in the iconic blue suit and red cape.

The comic book reboot, which is expected in theaters in 2013, also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, as well as Russell Crowe, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.

While Superman's new look is more menacing, the costume still maintains its classic feel. But tell us:

America's Got Talent is heating up, big time! This week's major moment was seeing Iluminate, a dance group whose outfits light up in an elaborate and electrifying fashion, performing their show-stopping number to a remix of ET. Watch the awesome video below:

Heidi Klum is still in – as host of Project Runway, that is.

Despite online reports that the supermodel is saying auf wiedersehen to Lifetime's design competition, a spokesperson for the network tells our friends over @PEOPLE, "Heidi Klum is not leaving Project Runway.

Although Klum, 38, is currently appearing as host and judge of season 9, which premiered last week, an all-star season is now filming in New York City without the German-born supermodel.

According to the rep, the all-star version of Runway "is a completely separate show, with a separate host and a separate set of judges."

No announcement has been made about who that will be.

Last night Jason Derulo twirled his way onto the America’s Got Talent stage to belt out a medley of his Future History singles “It Girl” and “Don’t Wanna Go Home” while emulating — who else? — Michael Jackson. And, granted, we’re used to the 21-year-old copping MJ’s legendary moves, especially on AGT. But why not stage some original shuffling of your own at some point, Jason? Head below to watch all the fancy footwork.

Police have released the emergency call that was made when Nicki Minaj visited the Palomar Hotel in Dallas last month. The hotel’s front office manager placed the call after he reportedly saw Nicki get hit in the face. The “Super Bass” rapper can be heard arguing with a male in the background. At one point she screams, “Look at what he did to my face!”

TMZ originally reported that cops were called to the hotel on July 12 after Nicki complained that a man hit her in the face with a suitcase. She refused to press charges after paramedics arrived.

Nicki previously fired back at media reports on Twitter. “The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn’t leave on a stretcher w/his balls hangin off? #getaF%cknLife,” she wrote. “The media could pee on ur leg & tell u its raining. You’d believe it. You’d believe u were an adopted martian if TMZ told u so. #stopit5.”

After the call was released today, Nicki tweeted: “Can u pls get off my penis?” Listen to the 911 call HERE.
