In related news, rumors of a Destiny’s Child reunion are false. The superstar’s publicist issued a statement to Rap-Up.com saying, “Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny’s Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album. The rumors are false.”

The statement continued, “Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group.”

Michael Jackson's legacy continues to live on.

On the one-year anniversary of the King of Pop's death, the Jackson Family Foundation will be presenting "Forever Michael," a red carpet celebration event featuring performances honoring the late singer.

"The vision is to bring together Michael Jackson family members, celebrities, fans, supporters and the community to celebrate and honor his legacy," says VoicePlate Productions, the company producing the June 26 event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The party will be open to the public – $500 for VIP tickets and $250 for general admission can be purchased on VoicePlate.com. 

It wasn't just any housewarming in Hidden Hills, Calif., Saturday night. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were providing the heat, as the couple not only welcomed A-listers to their sprawling new San Fernando Valley residence but planned to cap the celebration by renewing their marital vows on what is their sixth wedding anniversary.

Pop singer Rihanna, who is still overseas, was seen out in a Dolce & Gabbana pistol print tank top ($117) paired together with the D&G tulle skirt ($645). The tank top features a scooped neck line and a vintage illustration of a pistol on the front, while the cotton-silk skirt is detailed with tiered ruffles and a satin waistband. Rihanna seems to almost never abandon her rockstar style, as she accessorized her fit with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and military combat boots.

Chace Crawford was arrested early Friday morning for possession of marijuana, TMZ.com reports.

The 24-year-old Gossip Girl star was reportedly arrested in a pub parking lot in Plano, Texas, after police discovered less than two ounces of marijuana in the car he was in. The charge is a misdemeanor.

According to reports, Crawford has posted bond and is out of jail. Calls for comment have not been returned.

After the singer dropped out of his latest movie, an adaptation of Ntozake Shange's 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, less than a week before filming was to begin, director Tyler Perry had to cut short his vacation and find a replacement.

"I said, 'What? You're kidding me?,' " Perry writes in a lighthearted new letter to his fans. "It's five days before she has to go to work; nobody does that. We have a deal."

Jetting back to Atlanta where the movie is filming, he selected Thandie Newton to fill Carey's role. (She will join Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington and Janet Jackson in the cast.) Perry also discovered that the singer's doctor was to blame for her sudden departure.

"I was told that we got a call, saying that even though our deal was done, she had been advised by her doctor not to do the film," Perry writes. "I said, 'What? You know I want a doctor's note, don't you? LOL."

As pregnancy rumors surround Carey, her would-be director won't buy into any speculation. "All I know," he writes, "is that I’m waiting just like the rest of the world to find out what happened."

In the end, he doesn't hold Carey's decision against her.

"What I do know of [Carey] is that she is a professional and wouldn't back out of a deal unless it was a major issue," Perry writes. "So, whatever is going on, I wish her and Nick [Cannon] the best and she has all my love, prayers and support."

Jokes Perry: "I just wish I could have finished my Mai Tai before I had to get back and re-cast this role!"

The producer even managed to get a hefty discount on his purchases, with staff agreeing to let him pay half-price for the items, which included a number of pieces from the women's collection.

While most artists are upset when their music leaks prior to its intended release date, Drake has taken a different approach to his recently leaked album.


The rapper’s debut effort Thank Me Later hit the Internet late Tuesday, two weeks before its June 15 release date. But instead of lamenting about its appearance online, Drake addressed the leaks by tweeting, “I gave away free music for years so we’re good over here…just allow it to be the soundtrack to your summer and ENJOY! JUNE 15th!”

He previously told Entertainment Weekly that his intention was not to top the charts with the album. “I didn’t make this album for commercial purposes. A lot of the verses are extremely long. I just made it to share with people. I hope they can enjoy,” he said.

Lady Gaga teases her little monsters with a 19-second preview of her video for “Alejandro” directed by photographer Steven Klein. The pop juggernaut described the black-and-white clip to Larry King as a “celebration of the gay community.” The full video is set to premiere Monday, June 7.

Lady Gaga's friends aren't the only ones concerned for her after she almost collapsed on stage. The singer also knows she has to be more careful and is taking added precautions, especially after a recent health scare.

"I have tested borderline positive for [lupus]," she says in an interview on Larry King Live scheduled to air Tuesday night.

"As of right now," she says, "I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself."

When asked by King how she's feeling, the pop star, 24, responds with a simple, "I'm okay," before adding that lupus, which took the life of her aunt Joanne, does run in her family.

But Gaga, who has a full slate of summer concerts lined up, and who earlier revealed she was tested for the disease, wants to reassure worried fans that she hasn't shown any symptoms yet.
