"It was a beautiful, traditional family ceremony," Dion's rep tells our friends over @PEOPLE of the Melkite Greek Catholic rite, which featured chanted prayers and songs and honored the heritage of Dion's husband and manager, Réne Angélil.
Five godparents stood up for the twins, who wore gowns by Baby Dior during the ceremony at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church: the twins' big brother Réne-Charles, 10; Dion's sister Linda; and Angélil's three oldest children, Patrick, Jean-Pierre and Anne-Marie Angélil.
Also on the guest list: the doctors who helped make Dion's dream of becoming a mother again come true, as well as those who treated Angélil's throat cancer more than a decade ago.
After the baptism, the twins napped while the family celebrated with a reception at Caesars Palace.
The following night, Dion, who launches her new Vegas show at Caesars on March 15, did her first practice run-through for a live audience.
Details of the baptism were first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Chris Brown Thinks People Are Ready to Forgive Him for Rihanna Incident
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 5:44 AM
Chris Brown (Getty Images)Chris Brown was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, but he thinks people are now willing to put the incident behind them.He explained: "A handful of people stuck by me. But when [most] people see certain things happen to somebody, they usually turn away. They don't want to get involved with it because they don't want their name attached to anything negative."
Chris also believes one of the reasons people are now willing to forget about his past is because they want to work with him again.
Although his career nosedived after the attack, Chris claims a number of his contemporaries approached him to appear on his new album F.A.M.E.
He told Page Six magazine: "They wanna get on the record. They wanna let me back in the door. The last two years, everybody dissed me. But my fans were so dedicated. The way I look at it is, you can't walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you're an angry person."

Michael Stipe (Getty Images)REM frontman Michael Stipe has enjoyed relationships with both men and women in the past, but he says it wasn’t until meeting his current boyfriend that he realized he preferred men.He said: “On a sliding scale of sexuality I’d place myself around 80-20, but I definitely prefer men to women. I had sex with, and enjoyed sex with, women until I met someone that I fell in love with, and who is now my boyfriend.”
The 51-year-old singer admits his sexuality led to him feeling as if he didn’t fit in anywhere while he was a young man in the '80s.
He told The Observer newspaper: “I wasn’t troubled or confused, but I just felt there wasn’t a place for me. I hate and refuse to apply the term bisexual to myself. It doesn’t seem appropriate. It feels like just another label. For a time I was conflicted by how I was represented, and then AIDS came, and that’s an era that has still be to be spoken about in depth by people of my age.
"It was a very difficult time to be honest and frank about one’s sexuality. And a very scary time for people like myself, who were not able to be tested anonymously without some concern.”

A judge has marked June 8 as the first day of his two-year jail term, reports the AP. The sentence comes after the 35-year-old MC pleaded guilty in December to attempted weapon possession after police pulled him over for speeding following a concert at NYC’s Beacon Theatre. Upon inspection of the vehicle, they discovered a loaded gun in the car’s rear door, leading to his arrest.
Prior to his bid, the “Put It on Me” hitmaker will spend time completing his upcoming album The Renaissance Project, as well as handling tax issues.

Pete Wentz (Photo Agency)This once-cordial breakup might be taking a turn for the worst, and little boy Bronx is in the middle of it. On Tuesday, Pete Wentz filed papers to a Los Angeles court seeking joint primary and legal custody of his son with estranged wife Ashlee Simpson.Ashlee can't be happy about this news. The singer, who married Wentz when she was 3 months pregnant in 2008, had asked for primary physical custody when she filed for divorce.
Long before the former couple announced their marriage troubles, friends had voiced concern about their quick jump into parenthood.
"Ashlee loves Bronx but jumped into marriage and having a baby too quickly," one source toldUs in 2009. "They feel they got trapped in a situation they were too young for."
Hopefully their cute boy will not become a source of too much family tension.

Katy Perry (Getty)It says something about the mettle of a song when, just a few weeks out of release, it is covered by one of the biggest names in the pop industry.Over the weekend, cartoonish crooner Katy Perry treated fans in Paris, France, to her acoustic cover of Lady Gaga's new anthem "Born This Way." Perry, who once publicly criticized Gaga's heavy use of religious imagery in the music video for "Alejandro," belted out the first verse and a chorus to delighted fans, who can be heard singing along in the video below.
Katy did a pretty solid job with her take—but it would have been even cooler had she figured out some way to throw props to Madonna, too.

According to her ex-boyfriend -- who took the pictures -- 18-year-old Bobbi is addicted to cocaine, just like her mother Whitney was.
He told National Enquirer magazine: “I’ve tried to stop her. But all she said was, ‘I’m just like my mother!’
“Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself. If Krissi doesn’t stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her.”
The shots -- which also include a picture of her sitting next to series of chopped out lines of white powder -- were taken at a friend’s house in Alpharetta, Georgia, the town where she lives with her mother.
The unnamed former boyfriend, who was in a relationship with Krissi for over two years, insists the teenager’s substance problems are spiraling out of control.
Recalling one party they went to as a couple, he said: “Krissi was pretty wired. I also saw her kiss a man and drink a 40-ounce bottle of Budweiser.”
The magazine also claims she is a marijuana user and heavy drinker.
However, Krissi has refuted the allegation she has a cocaine problem and has accused her ex of setting her up for money because the relationship went bad.
In a series of posts on her Twitter page, she wrote: “The pictures -- a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes.
“But it’s really not what it looks like … People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.”
She also revealed her mother Whitney had been comforting her “to the max” in the wake of the allegations.
The 47-year-old singer confessed to being a cocaine addict herself in a 2009 TV interview with Oprah Winfrey and admitted her and her ex-husband Bobby Brown’s drug use spiraled out of control after she starred in hit movie The Bodyguard in 1992.

Lady Gaga (Getty Images)Lady Gaga has broken off a business deal with retail giant Target after it failed to comply with her demands that the company change its policies on political donations, The Advocate reports. Target was set to release an exclusive version of Gaga's upcoming album, Born This Way, but apparently things fell through."She and Target didn't see eye to eye on Target's policy of political donations and how they affect the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered) community," an unnamed source told The Advocate.
Minnesota-based Target came under fire by LGBT supporters last year when it was revealed they donated to Minnesota Forward, a group that supported gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer, who supported a state constitutional amendment that would only recognize marriages and civil unions between one man and one woman. Gaga previously said her deal with Target hinged on a change in the company's policies.
"Part of my deal with Target is that they have to start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they've made in the past ... our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they've made supporting those [antigay] groups," she told Billboardmagazine.

Gwyneth Paltrow (Getty)Gwyneth Paltrow had a whirlwind red carpet season. The Academy Award-winning actress performed at both the Grammys and the Oscars, and just recently reprised her much-discussed role on Glee. Now reports are circulating that Paltrow, 38, is on the cusp of inking a major record deal—one that could prove quite lucrative for the willowy star.On Wednesday, it was rumored that Paltrow had signed with Atlantic Records for about $900,000. The performer's rep dismissed the reports, telling People, "There is no deal yet."
A source told the New York Post that Gwyneth's sound is "country pop"—interesting, considering Paltrow has expressed her desire to work with Jay-Z on any future musical projects. Will Jay go country, too?

Sarah Palin (Getty Images)No Tina Fey? According to The Hollywood Reporter,Julianne Moore will play Sarah Palin in the upcoming HBO film, Game Change. The film, which is based on the book by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, will revolve around the 2008 presidential election events.
This will be a political jump for Julianne Moore: in real life, she and Palin have pretty much opposite political beliefs. All we can say is Moore definitely won't be fighting for reproductive rights and same-sex marriage in the flick.

Does calling it “unofficial” mean that a stranger stole all the footage and cut together their own preview? Or is this just a first cut that was never meant to be seen by the public? Either way, this looks just about as Oscar-worthy as that indie movie starring Nicki Minaj.
We applaud Fiddy for trying to stretch his range and attempt such a dramatic story, but based on what we see in this trailer, we don’t think this will transform him to a veritable movie star, or even an indie darling.
