According to X17online.com, Rihanna did party and celebrated her special night in hollywood.
”Rihanna rang in her 21st birthday last night [Feb 20th] at a house in the Hollywood Hills, and the the birthday girl and dozens of her pals partied into the wee hours of the morning.”
Sources say Rihanna’s bodyguard gave away autographed photos of the singer and told the neighborhood people to keep quiet about Rihanna’s arrival.
After nearly two weeks of silence following her assault at the hands of Chris Brown, Rihanna has finally broken her silence - albeit via her publicist:
“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”

Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, designer Isaac Mizrahi and Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion Fern Mallis will serve as host and a judge respectively on Bravo’s upcoming design show, The Fashion Show.
The Project Runway-replacement follows professional designers as they compete for a chance to have their designs sold by a major retail outlet. The designers will face off in challenges and have their fate determined not only by the judges, but also by a studio audience.
It was announced last year that Project Runway would be moving to Lifetime.

Kanye on his music career:
“There’s nothing more to be said about music. I’m the f–king end-all, be-all of music. I know what I’m doing. I did ‘808s’ in three weeks. I got it. It’s on cruise control … Man, we talked about music for God knows how long! Now let’s talk about how my f–king sweater didn’t come back right from Korea. That’s what’s interesting me.”
Kanye on his image:
“I had a style that was over-the-top, overly expressive, and it forced me to just lay back and be a little cooler. One of the problems with being a bubbling source of creativity — it’s like I’m bubbling in a laboratory, and if you don’t put a cap on it, at one point it will, like, break the glass. If I can hone that … then I have, like, nuclear power, like a superhero, like Cyclops when he puts his glasses on.”
Kanye on the woman he wants to marry:
“What I feel like — ’cause I wanna be married, of course—I feel like the type of girl I would be with is a fellow superhero. So we get that ‘already flying and now we’re just flying together’ thing.”
Kanye on the word 'Gay':
“Titles are very important. I like to embody titles, y’know, or words that have negative connotations, and explain why that’s good. Take the word gay — like, in hip-hop, that’s a negative thing, right? But in the past two, three years, all the gay people I’ve encountered have been, like, really, really, extremely dope. Y’know, I haven’t, like, gone to a gay bar, nor do I ever plan to. But where I would talk to a gay person — the conversation would be mostly around, like, art or design — it’d be really dope. From a design standpoint, kids’ll say, ‘Dude, those pants are gay.’ But if it’s, like, good, good, good fashion-level, design-level stuff, where it’s on a higher level than the average commercial design stuff, it’s, like, gay people that do that. I think that should be said as a compliment. Like, ‘Dude, that’s so good it’s almost … gay.’”

The following statement was issued Sunday by a spokesman on behalf of Chris Brown:
"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person.
"Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong.
"While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.
"Those posts or writings under my name are frauds," the statement concludes.

Justin Timberlake Blends Fashion and Family At William Rast
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 3:15 PM
When William Rast co-founders Justin Timberlake and childhood friend Trace Ayala brought in husband-and-wife design team Marcella and Johan Lindeberg last year, the venture became even more like an extended family. “We talk about everything. Justin is even baby-sitting our daughter,” says Marcella from backstage at the line’s debut show at Bryant Park. “We have a style that we all like. The foundation is there.” And Justin and Trace have just as much of an understanding. Says Timberlake, “We inspire each other. For instance, this season, we’re inspired by Barack Obama. I am inspired where we can go with the nation. That’s why we picked the theme of New America for the show.” Timberlake’s girlfriend Jessica Biel is “so proud” of the direction they’ve taken. “They’re clearly taking it to another level. I want the whole line,” says the actress, who often test-runs the clothing. “I always wear the stuff and say, ‘This is tight here. Or this doesn’t work for me here.’ I’m sort of a guinea pig, really.” Even their moms are in awe. “We came from a small town in Tennessee. And our kids are doing a fashion show at Bryant Park. What happened?”

In an interview with PEOPLE, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, said that when he first heard that his daughter had been attacked by Chris Brown, "I didn't believe it.
"I know my daughter," said Fenty, 55. As for Brown, he said, "You think you know somebody, but you really don't."
Brown, 19, allegedly attacked Rihanna, 20, in Los Angeles last Sunday. He was arrested and may face charges from the district attorney.
Describing Rihanna's current condition after seeing her on Thursday, Fenty said, "There is some bruising. She will be all right. I think so."
He adds, "At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."
Fenty, a salesman and freelance clothing designer, said Rihanna is spending time with girlfriends while she heals. While Fenty said he wouldn't tell his daughter what to do, he did say, "If it were me, I'd move on."
The last time Fenty had seen Rihanna and Brown together was in July. "They seemed pretty happy," he recalls. "I don't know what went wrong."

A Brazilian plastic surgeon has revealed details of the procedure that temporarily left Usher's wife, Tameka Raymond, in a medically-induced coma.
Two months after giving birth to the couple's second son, Raymond, 38, traveled to Brazil to have liposuction on her stomach, says Ellen Dasptry, a rep for Sao Paulo plastic surgeon Dr. Silvio Sterman, who was to have performed the surgery.
"Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under [general] anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest," Dasptry tells PEOPLE.
Induced Coma
Raymond never had the liposuction. According to Dasptry, after her cardiac arrest, Raymond was immediately revived and placed in an induced coma.
"When an attack like this happens, the doctors put the patient to sleep... and make sure that everything is okay and that there has not been any damage," explains Dasptry. "This is the protocol every time and this is what was done."
After a day in the ICU, Raymond was transferred to a larger facility, Sao Paulo's Hospital Sírio-Libanês, considered one of the finest in Brazil, says Dasptry. After nearly a week of recovery, she "is doing very well," says the surgeon's spokeswoman.
Usher Flies to Her Side
On Saturday, Usher canceled a performance at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala to fly to Brazil to be at his wife's side. Davis told partygoers the singer had to leave due to "serious injury in the family." Usher and Raymond have two sons: Usher Raymond V, 1, and Naveid Ely Raymond, who is two months old. Raymond also has three sons from a previous relationship.
On Feb. 8, Usher's rep Simone Smalls issued a statement on the star's behalf: "Tameka Raymond is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil. Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital. No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time."
Raymond's case has stirred debate within the medical world over whether a wait of two months between giving birth and undergoing liposuction is sufficiently long.
Surgery Too Soon?
According to New York City cosmetic surgeon and dermatologist Neil Sadick, "The general feeling is no abdominal surgery should be performed within eight weeks because of the distension and inflammation of the abdomen/uterus due to pregnancy. [Women] should wait at least three months postpartum before undergoing any type of procedures to the abdomen... They would need to get clearance from their OB/GYN and internist."
But Dasptry says Raymond met with her Brazilian surgeon Feb. 6 to undergo tests and was determined to be "in good health." "In plastic surgery all over the world, there is no rule that says a woman can't have plastic surgery performed two months after childbirth," says Dasptry.

Move over, Pink Panther. Here come the Black Panthers. Two English-language European film projects aim to bring leading figures from the U.S. Black Power movement to the big screen soon. Franco-Algerian producer-writer-director Rachid Bouchareb, whose film “London River” screens here in competition, is setting up a movie on the early life of Angela Davis, a leading figure of the civil rights movement and one-time FBI regenage.
Bouchareb, who will produce the movie through his French production company, plans to shoot in summer 2010 with a budget in the region of $20 million-$30 million, and is linig up a major French backer. The script is by novelist Yasmina Khadra, whose book “The Attack” has been optioned by Focus Features. No cast is yet attached but Bouchareb has his lead actress firmly in mind: “I want Beyonce Knowles to play Angela Davis,” he said. “It’s a great dramatic role for her.”

LeToya Luckett will shoot a video for “Not Anymore” on Friday in Los Angeles. The mini-movie will be directed by Bryan Barber (OutKast, The Game) and is the first single off the 27-year-old’s sophomore album Lady Love.
The treatment calls for nothing you’ve seen from the R&B songstress before, conceptually and visually. The video will be set in the early 1960s, but will have a modern feel similar to Barber’s video for Christina Aguilera’s “Ain’t No Other Man.”
Taking place on an old revival tour bus and “American Bandstand”-like stage, LeToya is the newest addition to a Motown record label and is burning up the charts, eventually moving on from the man who broke her heart and reveling in the ultimate revenge—success.

Three days after Rihanna was allegedly beaten by her boyfriend, Chris Brown, fans are filling her MySpage page with words of encouragement.
"YOU deserve BETTER," writes Jessica.
"I just want to say that I really hope you get better soon," says Morgan. "You are such a great and strong woman . . . . Turn your hurt into a song that can inspire everyone to be strong and it will get you through whatever life throws at you."
A fan named Leiahi'ena even offered the Barbados-bred singer (who hasn’t been seen in public since the Sunday morning incident) refuge in Hawaii.
"Keep shining that smile of yours!" says Leiahi'ena. "Need to get away for a while hit me back, my family owns some private beaches if you wanna wine down and relax with some of your family or friends."
Even celebrity pal Kanye West has spoken about the incident, telling Ryan Seacrest on his Tuesday radio show, "I feel like that's my baby sis and I would do any and everything to help her in any situation."
When it comes to their feelings about Brown (who is due in court March 5), Rihanna's fans offer mostly blunt words of advice.

It's finnally here, ubrey's Payboy Cover. O'Day recently spoke with MTV about the shoot. Check out an extract of the article:
"You could never imagine how empowering it is to be nude in front of cameras and have people looking at you in that way and seeing you as beautiful," she told MTV News. "You're seeing yourself as beautiful. I mean, a lot of the times I think I'm seen as a bad girl, and I think that's because I'm so open."
O'Day said that she agreed to the pictorial only after the magazine made Klinko available. He's snapped portraits of everyone from Mariah Carey to Pamela Anderson, in addition to the cover of Beyoncé's 2003 album Dangerously In Love, and O'Day knew he'd make her Playboy spread something to remember.
"I only agreed to do it because [Markus] was shooting it," she said. "He is unbelievably amazing. He agreed with me that we needed to do something classy, iconic and truly beautiful. I mean, I think a lot of the type of way I'm portrayed in the media isn't always the way I am in my heart. And I think that we were able to capture that with [this shoot].
"It's going to be very elegant, very iconic," she emphasized. "We wanted to do something very beautiful and classic. And I'm very excited about, just in general, how liberating the shoot was and how great it's going to be to express myself and be comfortable with my sexuality. I think in society we tend to put ourselves in boxes and corners and restrict ourselves, and we constantly feel the need to not say this or not wear this ... and taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in."
And what does she think her detractors will say about the Playboy spread? Well, to be honest, she doesn't really care. Because she's not listening.
"I'm always gonna be true, whether people like it or not. I'm just gonna be me. I'm gonna be real. I'm not gonna do anything because people want me to. I'm not gonna hide something about me," she laughed. "I think people are scared to be who they are, and if anybody's gonna go out there and let everybody know, 'Be who you are ... no judgment here,' it's gonna be me."
