It seems as though Jay-Z is eager to move on from Def Jam. Sean Carter has reportedly bought back his last remaining album on the label.

As the Jiggaman prepares to transition to his new Roc Nation home at Live Nation, there are whispers that he is not sticking around to release the eagerly-anticipated Blueprint 3 on the label he once presided over. Instead, HITS Daily Double reports that Hov purchased back his eleventh studio album on his Def Jam contract for the price of $5 million.

Jay-Z signed a $150 million deal with concert giant Live Nation in 2008 that includes at least three albums and tours spanning over the next 10 years. He has recorded nine albums for Def Jam since he signed in 1997.

The Blueprint 3 is due by the end of 2009.

"It is OFFICIAL that THE GAME has been cancelled:( Just got the call from Mara! I am sad to bring this news!""It also looks like BET will not be picking us up either. Beyoncé is releasing a new remix album and DVD collection on June 16 called Above and Beyoncé Video Collection and Dance Mixes – and here is your first look at the cover art.

Among the tracks included on the collection is a remix of her song "Ego" featuring a guest appearance by Kanye West. "The song is fun," says Beyoncé. "It talks about someone being very confident and having this swagger when they walk and when they talk."

As for nabbing West, well, Beyoncé says the rapper – known for his outsized personality – was a good match. Recounting her conversation with West, Beyoncé says he agreed to do it, telling her, " 'Okay, so you have a song about an ego and you want me on the record?' He's like, 'I love it. I'll do it.' "

Above and Beyoncé will be available at Wal-Mart everywhere and J&R Music stores in New York City beginning June 16.

Mariah Carey is not the only one making album announcements. Usher also revealed the title of his new album on Wednesday.

The R&B heartthrob has titled his sixth studio effort Monster. It will be released this fall, according to a statement from his publicist.

Usher has collaborated with Jermaine Dupri and Ne-Yo on Monster, the follow-up to 2008’s platinum-selling Here I Stand.

Has Rihanna Moved On?

If rumors are to be believed, Rihanna has officially moved on from Chris Brown. The “Disturbia” singer was reportedly spotted making out with rising star Drake on Monday night.

According to the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, RiRi showed up with a group of friends at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in New York City. Witnesses claim to have seen her kissing 22-year-old rapper-singer Drake. “She was drinking whiskey and apple juice and making out with him all night,” says a spy. “They were really cute together.” She left with Drake around midnight.

Aubrey Graham, better known as Drake, acted on the teen drama “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money imprint. The Canadian artist’s mixtape single “Best I Ever Had” is receiving heavy airplay and he is already one of the most-talked-about new artists of 2009.

Mariah Carey has revealed the official title of her new album.

The pop diva’s twelfth studio release will be titled Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. She broke the news on her Twitter page today.

“Bcuz I Love U, I want u to be the first to know the title of my new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel Its very personal & dedicated to u,” she wrote.

Memoirs follows 2008’s E=MC² and 2005’s The Emancipation of Mimi.

Mariah is working with Timbaland, The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Jermaine Dupri, and more on the effort. The album is due out by the end of the year.

In a new interview with TV Guide magazine, Paulina says the show is not all it's cracked up to be and contestants' careers are stunted by appearing on the show.

What did you think of Teyona’s win?
Well, I was there. I had a hand in it. But you know what? Honestly, now that I’m off the show I can actually say it. I didn’t vote for Teyona.

Who did you vote for?
Allison. Well, I’m not going to name names. But two of us voted for Allison and two of us voted for Teyona and one of us had to cross the line over to the other one.

Of the three finalists, who do you think is the most likely to have an actual modeling career?
None of them.

Really? That’s sad.
I know. I’m really very sorry. But they’re not models. Look at the history of Top Model. When has a winner not fallen down into that great big hole where the other sock goes? When? That’s because you can’t pick models from a TV show. Those tall, long giraffe things that don’t really look real are rare freaks of nature. And finding a freak of nature with a personality, that’s like finding a double freak of nature. So you’d have a TV show once every 10 years.

Why did they let you go?
Well, they said that Top Model needs to trim the fat. So they cut me. It came as a little bit of a shock. I was a little upset that I was fired roughly four weeks before the new season was starting. I was being told to go have a physical for the show and then I got fired. I think they could have done that better.

Stupid recession.
Actually a lot of my friends from the show got booted, too. Makeup and hair people. And I shouldn’t say this because this sounds bitter. But if Tyra came in on time, they would save somebody’s salary. If she actually showed up on time for the judgings and they didn’t have to pay a lot of overtime, they would save a lot of money.

Do you think you did something to bring this on?
I did get pissy about Tyra being late a couple of times. I said, “I don’t think that’s right.” And they told me I had a big ego. So maybe that had something to do with it.

If they ask you to come back as a guest judge would you go back?
No. I think there’s a little too much bad blood. I mean I don’t wish them ill. But do I want them to blossom without me? No. I’m not going to lie.

Do you have any advice for future auditioners?
Yeah. Go to Top Model only if you don’t want to be a model. These girls want to be models so desperately. And the fact is the show is not even looking for fashion models. They’re looking for personalities. It’s a Cinderella story. But [many of] the girls who succeed on the show won’t succeed [in the industry] because they’re not models. I have become friends with some of the models on the show and they actually have lost jobs when it came out that they were on America’s Next Top Model, because the fashion industry will not touch those girls with a ten foot pole.

So they have to hide the fact that they were on the show?
Yeah. And if you’re a winner you can just flush yourself down the toilet. Unless you marry a Brady, in which case you have a career.

But some of the models, like Ya-Ya DaCosta, have found showbiz success.
Yes. Some of the ones who did not win have done much better than the winners for sure. But none of them have approached top model [status]. Out of the girls that we had this season: I think Aminat might have a future in shows because she’s a terrific walker, she has a great body, and she’s very tall. But that’s the closest anybody’s going to get to fashion.

A lot of young girls look up to the show and it really hasn’t produced a top model.
They haven’t and they won’t. And now they’re doing the short girls. Like that’s ever going to catch on in fashion. It might be terrific TV. But it’s not about reality.

This is very controversial and I won't really say too much about this, but I will say for those non-believers who say your not born "like that" here's proof.

Remember Singer Michel'le Toussaint, (Dr. Dre's former girlfriend) is taking her bankrupt ex-husband Suge Knight to court over spousal and child support payments.

Toussaint-a former artist on Death Row Records, of which Knight was a founder-was married briefly to the fallen rap mogul in 1997 and the couple has a child together, named Bailel.

She is seeking over $40,000 in court ordered spousal support, and wants a bankruptcy judge to ensure Knight-who declared he was broke in 2006-continues to honor the monthly $13,000 payments previously awarded to her by a divorce court, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Keyshia's got a new man ya'll he's a hottie! She snagged herself Cleveland Caveliers guard Daniel Gibson and dammit he's a big step up from the Snowman. The two were spotted leaving one of Keyshia's concerts this past weekend. And look, he brought her flowers...how f'ing cute.

Rumor has it that they have been dating for a couple months now and Keyshia even wears his jersey in her new "Trust" video. Cute. Any guy that's willing to date her despite knowing about her crazy ass family sounds like a keeper. The hottie status and flowers don't hurt either!

confirmed on her Twitter page today that she is in the studio with hit-maker Timbaland. Though little else is known about her as-yet untitled 12th studio album, Carey, 39, has gone on record to say she is eyeing an August release for the LP.

Having really disappointed last go round with 'E=MC2', I'm really hoping Mariah delivers this go round; and hooking up with Timbaland, who - correct me if wrong - she hasn't worked with before, is definitely a step in the right direction.

Rapper Dolla was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.

The shooting took place after 3 p.m. in the valet waiting area at the Beverly Center shopping mall on La Cienega Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Times.

An employee at a nearby Chipotle witnessed the dispute. “He saw a lady … shooting a handgun,” said Elsa Hernandez, general manager of the restaurant. “The customers were yelling, ‘Close the store, close the store, because somebody is shooting.’”

Police have arrested one “person of interest” in connection with the shooting, but were looking for a second suspect. The arrested suspect fled from the scene in a silver Mercedes SUV and was later detained at LAX airport while trying to board a flight.

The 21-year-old rapper, born Roderick Anthony Burton II, was signed to Akon’s KonLive imprint through Jive Records. He told Rap-Up about his harsh upbringing in an article that appeared in the magazine last year. He was born into death when his twin died at birth, he witnessed his father commit suicide, his sister is incarcerated, and he had been shot previously. His single, “Who the F*** Is That?” featuring T-Pain, was released in late 2007.

Dolla started updating his Twitter page today, a few hours before he was fatally wounded. “Checc my page out too, www.myspace.com/dolla,” he wrote in what would be his final entry.

Dolla’s publicist has confirmed his death. She said the Atlanta-based MC was shot in the head around 3:10 p.m. while he and another rapper, DJ Shabazz, waited in the valet area after shopping at the mall. A friend who was with him at the Beverly Center also confirmed his identity to the L.A. Times.
