Nicki Minaj speaks on hustling her way from a waitress and customer service manager to the top of the charts in her E! special, airing tonight at 10 p.m. The one-hour event features interviews with the platinum hitmaker as well as her mother and “hype man” Safaree “SB” Samuels. Watch a sneak peek below.

Lady Gaga, apparently, has some gay fans — as evidenced by her one-two punch of gay nightclub performances in Sydney yesterday. We already saw some footage of her appearance at Arq, and now a much higher-quality vid of her show-stopping number at Nevermind has surfaced, too. After rousing renditions of “Born This Way” and “Judas” that had Mother Monster laying on the floor, the once and future mer-Lady also spoke to the enthusiastic crowd about the mayor of Sydney making her an honorary Aussie and thanked those in attendance for being “so f***ing gay.” Then? Right into “The Edge Of Glory.” See it all below.

Question: does Cee Lo have a thing for Kelly Rowland? Better question: who doesn’t? While we can certainly appreciate any man being drawn to the comely “Motivation” songbird, we have to wonder if the Voice coach didn’t take his hankering a bit too far on a recent segment of Fuse’s Talking To Strangers (already kind of a spooky name for an interview show, right?). In just one minute, the “Bright Lights, Bigger City” singer manages to tell the dance diva that he’s been “watching” her, knows she’s a size 2, and that “it would be a crime of passion.” (The “it” is left up to our imaginations.) Watch below.

While we’re sure the not-so-Loud performer is just playing up the creepiness for the cameras and it’s all in good fun, we’re still loving Kelly’s freaked-out reactions, like “Yeeeeah, I do…” in response to the size 2 comment, and “Lord, have mercy!” in regards to the crime of passion. If you thought his segment with Keri Hilson got a bit steamy, it’s got nothing on the tension here.

This marks the first time we’ve ever had to pause and wonder if there’s more to Cee Lo’s “Lady Killer” moniker than meets the eye…

Cassie adds some sizzle to the summer in her cover shoot for BLANK magazine. In the photos shot by Gomillion and Leupold, the Bad Boy babe flaunts her hot body while soaking up the sun. The “Me & U” singer, who is recording her sophomore album, poses in a cheetah-print bikini against a graffitied wall, leans against a couple of muscle cars, and shows off a star tattoo on her upper thigh. And we bet you’ve never seen curlers look as sexy as they do when she’s rocking them in her Mohawk.

When asked who she would most like to work with, Cassie told the magazine, “Prince would be amazing. Is that not the worldwide response to this question?”

Get an eyeful of the scorching hot pics and check out some behind-the-scenes footage below.

The sounds of G.O.O.D. Music filled the Seaholm Power Plant in Austin, Texas, during SXSW in March. In addition to performing his solo set, Kanye West brought out his big bro Jay-Z for “H•A•M.” The electrifying night also featured performances from Kid Cudi (“Pursuit of Happiness”), Big Sean (“My Last”), Pusha T (“My God”), and Mos Def (“Oh No”). Watch the HD footage below.

Lil Wayne thanks his fans for their patience with the release of his new mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait. The 12-track freebie includes freestyles over popular beats such as Meek Mill and Rick Ross’ “Tupac Back,” Drake’s “Marvin’s Room,” Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci,” Miguel’s “Sure Thing,” and Big Sean’s “My Last.” The YMCMB captain even rhymes over Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” on the title track. Antonio “L.A.” Reid quietly began his new job as head of Epic Label Group earlier this month. The music mogul is assembling his roster of talent, which may include Ciara and Usher.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ciara will reunite with her former boss at his new venture at Sony. She asked to be released from her contract with Jive earlier this year after the underwhelming performance of her latest album Basic Instinct.

Another one of Reid’s discoveries, Usher, may also be making the shift from Jive to the restructured Epic. Reid was instrumental in launching the R&B phenom’s career 17 years ago.

Additionally, there is chatter that the 55-year-old executive is trying to bring Mariah Carey to Sony from her current home at Island Def Jam. She released her comeback album The Emancipation of Mimi under Reid’s watch and was previously signed to Columbia Records.

Another diva, Jennifer Lopez, may also return to Epic with the “X Factor” judge. She left the label last year to join Reid at Island Def Jam, where she released her album LOVE? and scored the chart-topping hit “On the Floor.”

Last month, Lady Gaga unveiled the music video for her single "The Edge of Glory" to the consternation of her fans.

Absent were the bells and whistles that fans have come to expect from Mother Monster, replaced by stripped down clips of her dancing in a smoky, small cityscape. Soon after the video's debut, Joseph Kahn, the man originally slated to direct the video, distanced himself from the project by tweeting, "I did NOT direct Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory' video. Lady Gaga did — I don't co-direct. One canvas, one paintbrush. Respect the art. Very simple rule with me."

Katy Perry getting her mermaid on beneath a bridgeA source close to the project said that Kahn had originally planned an elaborate piece that would feature Gaga as an enchanting mermaid.

At one point, Gaga was to swim beneath a city bridge. Which is why Gaga's fans were mighty confused last night, when Katy Perry tweeted a photo from the set of her new music video. Yep, she's gonna be a mermaid. Beneath a bridge.

So did Katy Perry "steal" the concept of Gaga's last music video?

If her next video is being directed by Joseph Kahn—with whom she worked on her "Waking Up in Vegas" video—then yes, it appears that Gaga's concept is being, shall we say, recycled.

No big deal! There's room enough for many mermaids, right?

DMX’s prison stay has been extended. The embattled hip-hop star will remain behind bars after being busted for drugs.

Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that the rapper, born Earl Simmons, violated several rules while serving time in Arizona’s Yuma state prison. He was cited for seven disciplinary infractions including drug possession, failing or refusing a drug test, unauthorized smoking, being disrespectful, and disorderly conduct.

The “Party Up (Up in Here)” hitmaker was scheduled to be released on Wednesday, seven months after he was sentenced to serve time for a probation violation. The date has now been delayed to July 19 because he tested positive for drugs, reports CNN.

Emma WatsonAfter her bubbly and festive gown at the London premiere ofHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Emma Watson's New York premiere outfit showcased the increasingly somber mood of the cast as the epic series comes to an end. That being said, Emma looked gorgeous in her Bottega Veneta gown and showed off the unique sense of style she has cultivated over the years.

Emma's dress, from the Fall 2011 collection, had a linen bustier with frayed edges that fit her like a glove. It transitioned into an expertly draped satin amber ball skirt that clung delicately to the bodice with a series of billowing sections. Emma accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Giuseppe Zanottti peep toe pumps. Slicked back locks and dark smoky eyes accented with gold eye shadow finished off the look.

What do you think of Emma's outfit?

Rihanna dedicated “Sweet Home Alabama” to her fans in Alabama during a special stop on her “LOUD” tour at the Jefferson Civic Center Arena in Birmingham last night. A long-haired RiRi, dressed in a torn denim bikini, covered the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic with her band. All proceeds from the show went to benefit local community relief efforts from the devastating tornadoes that tore through the state in early 2011.

“Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster … I wanted to figure out a way to help,” stated the singer. “I’m hoping that bringing the LOUD tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with.”

This summer, fans can catch Nikki Blonski performing Hairspray numbers off-Broadway.

Make that about 20 miles off-Broadway.

The actress, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Tracy Turnblad in the hit 2007 movie adaptation of the stage musical, has taken a summer job selling shoes at the Steven Dann boutique in her hometown of Great Neck, N.Y.

Boutique owner Steven Dann tells our friends over @PEOPLE that Blonsky, 22, works at his store two or three days a week "as a fun thing for the summer." And she's entertaining customers, too.

"She's really sweet to the little kids that come in the store," a source tells E! Online. "She even sings and dances for the customers, busting out the tunes from Hairspray."

Blonsky, who stepped out with a new beau this summer, hasn't had much luck on the showbiz front as of late: Her ABC Family series, Huge, was canceled, and her romantic comedy Waiting For Forever earned scathing reviews.

But her current boss predicts that Blonsky won't be in retail for long: The designer boutique owner says Blonsky has a "huge project" that she's starting in the fall.

"She decided to try the gig for the fun of it," adds her rep. "And to support a longtime friend's local business."

Kelly Rowland got some "Motivation" from Lil Wayne for the lead single off her album Here I Am, out on July 26. The album is a mix of her R&B roots and her more recent dance-queen persona.  Check out what the beauty had to say below.

Beyonce may be #1 with ‘4′, but now the ‘Diva’ singer has 3 albums on the Billboard 200 simultaneously. For what comes as an astonishing feat, 2008’s ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’ and 2003’s ‘Dangerously In Love’ have both re-entered the charts this week at #90 and #168 respectively.

For those still asking ‘who run the world?’, you may have just gotten your answer.

Rihanna set the stage on fire—literally—during her “LOUD” tour stop in Dallas, Texas, on Friday night (July 8). The red-haired singer was performing “California King Bed” when a light high above the stage burst into flames at the American Airlines Center.

RiRi, dressed in a floor-length yellow gown, finished the song before exiting underneath the stage. Shortly after, smoke filled the arena as the house lights came on and the flames were extinguished. Fans in the front row started making their way toward the exit and eventually the entire venue was evacuated.

Following the incident, Rihanna took to Twitter. “DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!” she tweeted. “DALLAS yall CRAY!!! Love this fuckin place! Glad u guys are safe!!! I promise I’ll be back!!! #MoFYAH.”

She later said that she was headed to a production meeting to find out what caused the fire. The concert is expected to be rescheduled.

Last night Billboard fired off a series of tweets detailing a roughly three-hour listening session for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne, which Hova himself hosted at the Mercer Hotel in downtown New York. (Rap Radar posted the above photo from the event.) “Roughly 20 people in the room, mostly journalists, including stephen hill of BET and the producer mike dean,” the publication noted. Over 11 songs were played. Catch the new details on the album below.

“Kanye west wasn’t there. No release date was given, but Jay-Z said the album was ‘coming soon’,” Billboard tweeted. It was said that Odd Future’s Frank Ocean appears on two tracks on the long-awaited LP, while Jay-Z’s wife, “Best Thing I Never Had” songstress Beyonce, is featured on one that’s currently titled “Lift Off.” (Jay wants to shoot a video for the latter, but prefers not to release a traditional single off the album.)

Jay and ‘Ye recorded their verses together in the same rooms, rather than mail rhymes back and forth to each other.

The music industry publication also wrote that Jay-Z said Watch The Throne was recorded over the past year in England, Australia, the States (New York and Los Angeles) and in Paris, France, mostly in hotel rooms. Hova apparently also indicated that sometimes songs were recorded then scrapped for being, as Billboard wrote, “too big and calculating.”

The version of the album that Jay-Z played for journalists last night on his Mac laptop was the third iteration of the project. The rapper said “his favorite song from the project changes everyday, but right now ‘no church’ – first song he played – is favorite.”

As for Jay’s next solo album, Billboard tweeted, “Jay-z said two songs already completed for his next solo album, and four concepts banked. Frank ocean appears on one already done.”

All very interesting. And given Jay and Kanye’s overblown winter single “H.A.M.” and, particularly, the lukewarm response it received, we can see why they scrapped some of the recordings for being too grandiose in nature.

Watch The Throne will be available in both standard and deluxe editions — the deluxe comes with four bonus tracks. Due out Aug 2nd!

Does this insight to Watch The Throne have you looking forward to the album? Let us know below!

After Adele and and Taylor Swift postponed tour dates due to laryngitis and bronchitis, respectively, Katy Perry is the latest sickly pop star forced to cancel her shows. The redheaded singer canceled two dates of her California Dreams tour due to food poisoning leading to severe dehydration. This comes just a few weeks after Jennifer Hudson and Selena Gomez were rushed to the hospital on the same day for food poisoning as well. Pop stars! Take care of yourselves! And don’t eat at any restaurant with less than an A rating

New mommy Mariah Carey has finally surfaced, and so has an R. Kelly remix of one of her songs. Mimi’s Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel track “Betcha Gon’ Know” was remixed by R. Kelly for the diva’s never-released Angels Advocate LP. Though that remix album never saw the light of day, we still get to hear the song — check out the R&B crooner singing from the perspective of a woman with an adulterous husband on Mariah’s tune.

This is the second R. Kelly remix of a pop song we’ve heard this week, following his spin on Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends.” He also took a whirl on Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation.”

Gucci Mane is free once again. The embattled hip-hop star was released from an Atlanta jail on Friday morning.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Southern rapper, born Radric Davis, left a Fulton County jail at 4:30 a.m. after serving two-and-a-half months behind bars.

The “Lemonade” hitmaker was arrested on January 28 and charged with misdemeanor battery after he allegedly pushed a woman from his moving vehicle. He was also arrested for violation of probation while visiting his probation officer.

“I’m back bitch gucci back bitch did u miss me or miss my raps bitch,” tweeted Gucci, who will celebrate his homecoming at Club Fathom in Chattanooga, Tenn., tonight.

His friends, including Monica, welcomed him back. “WELCOME HOME to my Big Brother Gucci. My prayers are with you. Today is a new day,” she wrote.

Following his numerous arrests, Gucci vows to stay out of trouble. “I give my word,” he told Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 FM. “It’s getting too much for me. I can’t keep going to jail. I slipped up this time, but no more slip ups.”

Lloyd does not appear in the explicit video for “Naked,” but there’s still plenty to see. In the steamy visuals, VH1’s “Real Chance of Love” (Season 2) winner Kamille Leai aka Hot Wings strips down in the shower after getting a text from Lloyd, who says he’s in town for the night. The fellas will particularly enjoy the abundant eye candy. This one’s definitely NSFW.

A Texas baseball fan fell 20 feet to his death after reaching over a barricade for a ball tossed to the crowd by an all-star player, with former President George W. Bush in attendance.

Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton has said that he is " very distraught" after the man fell head first at the Arlingtion stadium. The married man's son was with him and witnessed the incident, according to the Associated Press.

Arlington Fire Department officials said the man, who witnesses said was conscious after the fall, "went into full arrest" while being transported by ambulance. He was pronounced dead at a Fort Worth hospital less than an hour after he fell, the AP reported.

The man has been identified as Shannon Stone of the Brownwood Fire Department by the Brownwood News after Brownwood Fire Marshal Buddy Preston confirmed that a Brownwood firefighter died at a Texas Rangers baseball game in Arlington.

"We had a very tragic accident tonight and one of our fans lost their life reaching over the rail trying to get a ball," team president Nolan Ryan said somberly after the Rangers' 6-0 victory over Oakland. "As an organization, and as our team members and our staff, we're very heavy-hearted about this, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family."

Hamilton is "very distraught over this, as the entire team is," Ryan said.

Ronnie Hargis, a fellow fan seated in the front row Thursday night, had spoken to Stone during the game and tried to grab him as he fell through the gap between the seats and the outfield wall, according the AP.

"He went straight down. I tried to grab him, but I couldn't," Hargis said. "I tried to slow him down a little bit."

Thursday's tragedy marks the second deadly fall at a Major League baseball game this season. A 27-year-old man died in May when he fell 20 feet at a Colorado Rockies game and struck his head on concrete.

We never imagined Beyonce’s tell-off 4 single “Best Thing I Never Had” to be a romantic wedding song, but that’s how Bey decided to interpret it for her video. The clip begins not unlike a Victoria’s Secret commercial, with the chart-topping diva sauntering around her bridal suite in revealing white lingerie. Soon this hardly-blushing bride is decked out in her absolutely gorgeous wedding gown (eat your heart out Kate Middleton), and after getting all badass on her coulda-been flame in the sweet serenity of nature, we see Bey walk down the aisle and marry someone who is — gasp! — not Jay-Z. Vid below.

Though Bey’s real life hubby doesn’t make a cameo as her groom in this video, we’re sure Hova gave this dude the side-eye upon seeing his obvious stand-in take off his wife’s garter with his teeth.
