After impressing music fans with her debut single “Whip My Hair”, Willow Smith is now gearing up to release her next single. Titled “21st Century Girl”, the song is teased in a short audio and expected to make the cut to her upcoming first studio album. “It’s a dance record. I know you love to dance,” she said.
The single is likely to make its way out sometime soon. In support of the forthcoming track, a music video is currently being prepared. The 10-year-old Roc Nation artist filmed it in a location in California on Saturday, January 22. Willow’s hair was braided, and she wore bright-colored outfits for the shooting.
The little girl was joined by her celebrity parents; Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, as well as her child-actor brother Jaden Smith. Rumor has it, Jaden’s “The Karate Kid” co-star Jackie Chan was on hand for a cameo as well.

While tweeting his support for Chicago during the Bears vs. Packers game yesterday, Kanye West was also very forthcoming with info about his upcoming releases. “WATCH THE THRONE COMING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!” he wrote on Twitter about his upcoming joint album with Jay-Z, which spawned the current single “H.A.M.” But it was the 2011 Coachella headliner’s next tweet that was truly eyebrow-raising.
“MY NEW ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER,” ‘Ye informed his Twitter followers. If true, that would mean we’d be seeing three LPs from West in a roughly seven-month period (including the chart-topping My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which dropped in November, and the Jay-Z collaboration Watch The Throne).
Next up caps-friendly Kanye tweeted, “ALL THE LIGHTS VIDEO IN 1 WEEK!!!!!!” Uh, what about finishing the extremely creepy “Monster” first? Or has an “official” clip now been abandoned?
Do you think we’ll actually see a brand new album from Kanye West so soon after the release of his last one?

Aaron Carter Seeks Treatment for 'Emotional and Spiritual Issues'
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 11:47 AM
For former Dancing With the Stars contestant Aaron Carter, the road to restarting his music career has taken a detour – into a treatment facility.
Carter, 23, the brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, is taking time away from working on an album and a show in Florida "to heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with," his manager Johnny Wright says in a statement.
"He has chosen to enter a facility where he feels he will get the guidance and cleansing he needs," says Wright. " Which in turn will help him on the music journey he's about to take."
The statement didn't further describe the facility or Carter's issues. But E! reports that Carter entered a Southern California center earlier this month for "addiction issues."
Carter was arrested in 2008 in Texas for investigation of marijuana possession, and in 2009 it was revealed he owed more $1 million in back taxes.

Forty-seven years ago, when Oprah Winfrey was 9 years old and living with her father in Tennessee, her mother became pregnant with a daughter who was given up for adoption. Winfrey had known nothing about it.
On The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday, the talk show host revealed the family secret she had been hyping since last week, introducing her half-sister, Patricia, from Milwaukee.
"It was one of the greatest surprises of my life," said Winfrey, who found out the news last October. "It left me speechless."
Patricia was born in 1963 in Milwaukee and lived in a series of foster homes until the age of 7. She was then adopted, but said her childhood was "difficult" and she longed to be reunited with her birth mother, Winfrey says.
When Patricia was 17, she had a daughter, Aquarius, and then six years later son, Andre. She was unwed and as a single mom worked two jobs to care for her kids.
A Search for Her Birth Mother
When Patricia, whose last name was not revealed, turned 20, she first tried to find out who her birth mother was but quickly gave up the search. Then a few years ago, she resumed the search and got her adoption records.
Through the adoption agency, Patricia reached out to her birth mother, whose name she still didn't know, but her mother did not want to meet her.
The very day, she happened to catch a TV news story about a woman named Vernita Lee, who was talking about a son, Jeffrey, who died in 1989, and a daughter, Pat, who had died in 2003. The information matched details in her adoption records.
"The hair on the back of my neck stood up," Patricia said. "I said, 'No, that can't be.'"
Her son Andre researched Winfrey's background and quickly realized that dates and locations lined up. Patricia tried to reach Lee numerous times, once even having her church pastor contact Lee's pastor, but Lee was not ready for a meeting, Winfrey said.
A DNA Match
So Patricia went to a Wisconsin restaurant owned by Winfrey's niece, showed her the adoption documents and revealed her suspicion that they were related. Patricia and the niece underwent DNA testing, which proved a positive match.
After that, there were a flurry of emails back and forth between various Winfrey relatives and Winfrey, but none would reveal the secret, saying it was Lee's place. Winfrey asked her mother about giving a child up for adoption, but Lee said it wasn't true.
Then one day in October, 10 minutes before she was walking out to do a show, Winfrey asked her assistant what the truth was and she replied, "You have a sister."
Winfrey confronted her mother with the information and Lee finally admitted the truth. Lee and Patricia met on Oct. 25 for the first time since her birth.
On Thanksgiving Day, Winfrey drove to her mother's home in Milwaukee, where her half-sister sister Patricia was waiting.
"It was a Beloved moment," Winfrey says, referring to the movie in which a daughter comes back from the dead. Home video shows the two embracing for a long moment.
During an interview taped last week with Patricia and their mother, Lee said she had denied the truth for so long because she was ashamed that she had given up a child for adoption.
"I thought it was a terrible thing that I had done," Lee said, adding that she felt she wouldn't be able to take care of another child and get off welfare if she had kept her. Still, she said, "I did think about the baby. I went back looking for her and they told me she had left."

True to their name, Dirty Money looked like a million bucks in sleek black fur coats while performing “Coming Home” with Diddy on Graham Norton (though pants are still an expense that can be spared for the filthy rich duo, apparently). Complete with a fogged floor and mini-orchestra to back them up, the performance was a classy affair, and even though Diddy admits to being sick at the end, we can’t really tell. (Though perhaps that’s why we’re spared much of his unfortunate dancing.) Check out the vid below.

If your name is Britney Spears, then you spent Saturday and Sunday shooting the video for the current #1 single in the country, “Hold It Against Me.” Jonas Åkerlund, who was behind the lens for such classic clips as Madonna’s “Ray Of Light” and Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful,” is directing Brit’s vid. “Day 1 of the HIAM shoot with Jonas. Lea Michele (Getty Images)The cast of Glee has beaten Elvis Presley’s British chart record by becoming the fastest act to score 20 top 40 hits. Black Eyed Peas Exclude "My Humps" From Super Bowl Halftime Performance
0 comments Posted by J.R. Taylor at 11:02 AM
Back in 2004, Janet Jackson stunned the world when she had a wardrobe malfunction during the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show. But will.i.am, who is performing with his group the Black Eyed Peas at next month’s Super Bowl, isn’t planning on stirring up any controversy.
The BEP frontman explained to The New York Times that he was excluding their hit “My Humps” from their halftime performance, stating that its risqué lyrics simply wouldn’t fly. “We’re not playing that. It’s a club song. It’s like when I get around my mom, all my cuss words are deleted from my vocabulary. Automatically, they just leave. Super Bowl, yes, the words are not going to exist in my vocabulary,” he said.
Though will, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap most likely have their set list written in stone, that doesn’t mean it isn’t giving them the jitters. “We thought Oprah was big, but to perform at the Super Bowl where a lot of the greats have performed, I’m getting nervous this time around,” apl.de.ap told Rap-Up.com. “It’s a great opportunity because usually, the Super Bowl, they pick rock legends and stuff, so this time around you get a little different taste of different music genres.”
And as for the songs they will perform? They aren’t sweating it. “It’s just going to be Peas. Lots of energy and a lot of our songs you always hear at the sporting events. So at least in that way, we can tell what kind of music they like,” explained apl. “We’re going to utilize all the songs that they utilize from us, [like] ‘I Gotta Feeling.’ I don’t know, maybe flying over the scoreboard or something.”
Find out what the foursome have in store for their biggest gig yet when the Super Bowl XLV halftime show airs live from Arlington, Texas, on February 6.

Just when you thought you’d seen it all, Nicki Minaj continues to command the spotlight during her London trip. The Pink lady switched up her style yet again, stepping out to greet her British Barbz after paying a visit to T4 studios for a TV appearance. The rap diva, who has been pushing her fashion limits with eccentric outfits over the past few days, signed one lucky Barb’s boobs while looking fierce in a white dress and spotted blonde wig.
In an interview with DJ Semtex, Nicki opened up about her friendship with fellow fashionista Rihanna. “She is a dope gal. She’s crazy like me and I don’t think people ever really knew her personality. As I’m getting to know her a little bit, she’s so much fun to be around. She’s sweet, she’s focused, you know all those things that make a bad bitch,” she said. “It was an honor for me to be asked to be on her album. I didn’t see that one coming.”
