T.I. Is Now On Curfew

T.I. is almost a free man. The Atlanta rapper has completed his prison sentence stemming from a 2007 arrest, but still faces a curfew.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons records, Clifford “T.I.” Harris has fulfilled 10 months of a 366-day sentence. He spent the past 30 days under house arrest after serving time in a halfway house earlier this year. While he is allowed to leave the confines of his home, he must abide by certain restrictions. For the next 23 days, he will be required to be home by 11 p.m. unless he’s working, which extends the curfew to 1 a.m.

Tip was sentenced in May 2009 after being convicted for illegally purchasing weapons. His lawyer Steve Sadow told MTV News that he will be on probation for three years. This includes home incarceration, visits with a probation officer, and pre-approved travel. He must also perform around 400 more hours of community service.

“He’s been working,” Sadow told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “He intends to continue working, which includes being in the [recording] studio and performing concerts.”

Fans have missed the absent King of the South as indicated by the success of his buzz single “I’m Back,” which made an impressive debut at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. He is well into recording his next album to be released on August 24. B.o.B and producer Jim Jonsin are among the names on board.

Despite his disinterest in Twitter, it looks like Tip has caved and joined the Twitterati. He posted what appears to be a personal tweet on his page. His first order of business? Lunch at Ruth’s Chris Steak House with girlfriend Tiny.

The King is back.

Jermaine Dupri takes us on set of the video for Janet Jackson’s ballad “Nothing,” the theme from the Why Did I Get Married Too? soundtrack. The soft-spoken star explains the green screen concept for the Tim Palen-directed clip, which will debut next week.

Lady Gaga is going to finish every concert she puts on, even if it kills her. The "Telephone" singer, who crumpled to the floor and had to lie down during the last song for one of her recent sold-out performances New Zealand, thinks the shows must go on -- no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Lady Gaga (Bauer Griffin)Speaking on an Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O, she said: "I was so jet-lagged. I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor. I'd rather die on stage than walk off because I was going to pass out."

The 23-year-old star, who was forced to cancel several shows in January because she was suffering from exhaustion, insisted that she'd since had a rest and felt "completely rejuvenated and excited."

However, according to those close to the singer, the exhausted hitmaker is reportedly on the verge of a breakdown because of her hectic schedule. A source told People magazine: "She's on the verge of tipping. She's only human."

Gaga is currently in the middle of a world tour, which will see her perform 100 shows in 10 months by the time she finishes in September.

It’s all about the ladies in Ludacris’ video for “My Chick Bad (Remix).” The “pussy rules the world version” of Luda’s smash stars three of hip-hop’s fiercest femcees—former Crime Mob member Diamond, Trina, and Eve—in one superbad video. Rick Ross, Lil Scrappy, and Nicki Minaj, who raps on the original, also make appearances in the TAJ-directed clip.

Pink is a low-maintenance kind of gal. Her hubby Carey Hart brought her a brew and some cheese before they went to the Bad Religion concert in LA recently, and she was happy as can be with her convenience store treats. No fine wines necessary.

Pink (Getty)She tweeted: “He (Carey) is so romantic. He just bought me a 24 oz Heineken in a can and a string cheese from 7-Eleven. I'm so lucky... Bad religion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Although Pink, 30, and Carey enjoyed the gig, the 34-year-old racer admits he can longer party as hard as he used to. He wrote on his twitter page: “Bad religion killing it at HOB in LA! 30 years strong! But man, Im old. I used 2 leave punk shows w/a bloody nose in my old van. Now I'm sober in a town car.”

Janet Jackson this week attended the premiere of her film “Why Did I Get Married Too.” Her date was her eldest sister Rebbie Jackson.

This is remarkable because Rebbie never makes public appearances. She’s the one Jackson who avoids the cameras and the spotlight. Rebbie, 59, is the oldest of the Jackson family. She is 16 years older than Janet.

Meanwhile, “Why Did I Get Married Too” will be in theaters April 2. The movie also stars Tyler Perry, Jill Scott, Sharon Leal, Malik Yoba, Tasha Smith, Michael Jai White, Cicely Tyson and Louis Gossett Jr.

There’s a new addition to the Knowles family. Beyoncé and Solange’s father, Mathew Knowles, has been named the father of a baby boy.

According to TMZ, a DNA test has confirmed reports that Knowles is the father of Nixon, his first son, born February 4. The mother is Alexsandra Wright, who claims she had an 18-month affair with the music executive.

Wright filed a paternity suit against Knowles in October. He was temporarily ordered to pay $8,200 in monthly child support until a settlement is reached.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, filed for divorce from her husband of over 30 years last fall after being separated since January 2009. They have two daughters together, Beyoncé, 28, and Solange, 23.

Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson are set to collaborate, not for a music, but for a film feature. The two are going to star together in "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf", so filmmaker Tyler Perry said to BV on Movies when he attended the New York premiere of his latest movie "Why Did I Get Married Too?".

Beside the two, Perry who will direct and write the upcoming movie, also announced other actors who have been cast in the movie. Those names are Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine and Macy Gray. Perry additionally has a role in this drama movie.

"Making a film of 'For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow is Enuf' is a dream come true for me," Perry said about the project. "Ntozake Shange's play is a magnificent tribute to the strength and dignity of women of color, and I think audiences of all generations will be able to recognize and embrace the experiences these women represent. Creatively, this movie is one of the most exciting undertakings of my career."

Perry initially wanted singer Beyonce Knowles, Academy Award winner Halle Berry and talk show queen Oprah Winfrey on the cast ensemble for his film, but apparently they did not make it. Based on Ntozake Shange's award-winning 1975 play, the film is scheduled to start shooting this June in New York City for a January 14, 2011 release.

Famous for their singing careers, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson have previously appeared in some movies separately. The Nick Cannon's wife landed a lead role in 2001 "Glitter" which earned her a Worst Actress prize in Golden Raspberry Awards and recently starred in "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" which helped her to receive a nomination for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture in Screen Actors Guild Award.

As for the Michael Jackson's sister, she once appeared as Eddie Murphy's love interest in "Nutty Professor II: The Klumps". In 2007, she was cast as Patricia in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" and reprise the role in the sequel "Why Did I Get Married Too?" which will be released in U.S. theaters on April 2.

Another week, another split rumor for Kim Kardashian and her NFL beau Reggie Bush.

The couple, who started dating in 2007 and broke up briefly in 2009, haven’t ended things – but they are taking a step back in their relationship.

"They are trying to decide what to do right now," a source tells DIDNTINVITEME. "Reggie has issues with her busy life and schedule and she can’t give it all up."

But this couple isn't calling it quits yet.

On Monday, Bush flew to Miami and spent the day with Kardashian. Says the source: "It was super cool between them."

The Young Money family reunited south of the border in Mexico to perform their chart-topping hit “BedRock” during MTV Spring Break 2010. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine, Tyga, Jae Millz, Lil Twist, and Lil Chuckee didn’t forget their incarcerated amigo, chanting “Weezy!” at the end

Christina Aguilera gets naughty on the black-and-white cover for “Not Myself Tonight,” the first single from her fourth studio album Bionic. The pop singer has collaborated with M.I.A., Flo Rida, Sia, Claude Kelly, and Tricky Stewart, among others, on the project.

“She’s mixing it up again. She’s singing R&B again, she’s doing pop. She’s doing it all, but she’s found a way to make it all meet in the middle because she’s so many different things,” Tricky told Rap-Up.com last year. “She’s a real serious musician, she’s a real serious pop artist, and she’s a real serious singer. She’s making all her audiences happy at the same time.”

Another one of Rev Run’s offspring is following in his father’s footsteps. The Run-D.M.C. frontman’s middle son Daniel “Diggy” Simmons has inked a recording deal with Atlantic Records, where he will release his debut album.

The 15-year-old Simmons’ mixtape The First Flight created buzz, but it wasn’t until he freestyled over Nas’ “Made You Look” that people began to take notice. A viral video of the song circulated across the Internet, gaining him legions of new fans. Labels quickly came calling, and this week he signed with Atlantic Records, home to T.I., Lupe Fiasco, and Trey Songz.

The dapper Diggy has been spotted front row at various runway shows during New York Fashion Week and he has his own blog called Life of the Jet Setter.

“Taking a tour of the Atlantic offices… This is real surreal right now, its official!” tweeted the star of MTV’s “Run’s House.” “Real thankful just takin it all in!”

His brother JoJo, part of the rap group Team Blackout, showed support for his younger sibling. “Diggy is gon take over and I’m there to support him! Family don’t compete with each other we complete each other,” he wrote.
