Christina Aguilera is the Bionic woman on the half-illustrated cover of her fourth studio album, due June 8. The first single from the project is “Not Myself Tonight” written and produced by Polow Da Don and Ester Dean. The “fiercely energetic anthem” will debut on ChristinaAguilera.com at 6 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 30.
Bionic includes songs co-written by the pop singer, along with collaborations from Sia, Tricky Stewart, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch, Ladytron, and Linda Perry on the ballad “Lift Me Up.”
“I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements with subject matter ranging from playful to introspective,” stated Aguilera. “I am so excited for my fans to hear the new sound. It is something I don’t think anyone will expect.”
