Voice acting is easy work practically speaking. No trip through make-up. No blocking to learn. And no traveling to distant locations. Which is why it pays so much less than shooting a live-action movie... unless you happen to be one of the principle characters in the Shrek franchise.
While the final number haven't been made public yet, the three Shrek stars were reportedly paid more than $10 million each to reprise their roles for the upcoming fourth installment. The full Forbes list of A-List voice actors is below. Check out the Forbes feature to see why they made the list.

Mike Myers and Shrek co-stars Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy all made a new Forbes list of Hollywood's "Animation A-List," which features ten stars who bring in the most buzz and the most cash for their big screen voice work. Topping that list is Myers, who earned about $108,000 per minute on Shrek the Third.
