50 Cent was back to looking like himself on Wednesday’s “The View.” The dapperly-dressed rapper sat down with the daytime divas to discuss his drastic weight loss for his role as a cancer patient in Things Fall Apart and the first thing he ate after starving himself. He also revealed the scars that remain on his body after his tattoo removal. “You see what they did with Michael [Jackson], they can do anything,” he told the ladies.

On a recent Virgin Atlantic flight from New York to London, the 51-year-old reportedly splashed out thousands on bringing her own chef with her and booked up an entire aisle in upper class for her entourage.

A source on board the flight told the Daily Star newspaper: “The cabin crew were given a dossier on rules and requirements. They weren’t allowed to walk down her aisle or ask her any questions, they had to go through her assistants. It was ridiculous. She took over the whole plane.”

Madonna is so obsessed with following the macrobiotic diet she regularly tries to convert others to the eating plan, including her boyfriend.

Brazilian model Jesus Luz, 23, adopted the diet -- which is mainly comprised of vegetables and fish and doesn’t allow you to consume any dairy, sugary treats or processed foods -- last year to please his lover.

Kanye West’s tour of Silicon Valley continued. After meeting with Facebook on Tuesday, the newest celebrity to join Twitter stopped by the micro-blogging service’s headquarters for a visit that included him rapping new material from his as-yet-untitled album. Watch his performance below.

Kanye seems to already be addicted to Twitter. He’s up to 135,000 followers in less than 12 hours and that number is climbing by the second. So far he’s discussed stuntin’ with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, private jets, and jogging in Lanvin. What’s next?

Needless to say, Jolie looked radiant in the Versace frock, which showcased much of her impressive collection of tattoos. She paired the dress with Gucci peep-toe pumps and a slightly teased updo—a rarity for Jolie, who usually wears her long brown hair down in sweeping waves.

Jolie is an enthusiastic Versace fan; She won her 2000 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a black gothic gown by the luxe Italian brand.

As news broke that Teresa and Joe Giudice‘s possessions will go up for auction on Aug. 22, and another episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey depicted the couple reveling in their lavish lifestyle, the reality star wants to clear the air about her bankruptcy.

What happened?

In a new blog on Bravo’s Web site, Giudice writes that she and her husband invested in “real estate deals gone bad in a bad economy,” adding that, “we didn’t spend millions of dollars on gold toilets or private planes. We bought buildings, fixed them up. The economy crash trickled down to everyone.”
“We worked so hard for so many years and it was heartbreaking to file [for bankruptcy], and not something we took lightly,” she writes.

And they’re not giving up. “[We] got new jobs, and are working hard once again,” she blogs.
One new job: Giudice wrote a best-selling cookbook, Skinny Italian. Now, though, some of the couple’s income, including profits from the book, are coming under scrutiny after their bankruptcy trustee alleged the Giudices mislead the court about their assets when they filed for bankruptcy in Oct. 2009.
“If you’ve ever been unfortunate enough to be involved in a legal situation, you know it’s a lot of back and forth between both sides,” Giudice writes. “Right now, our bankruptcy trustee is trying to get an auction going, and our lawyer is objecting it. Every day, there are new tactics used, stories circulated, and details “leaked” to the press, but it’s all part of the legal wrangling.”

And even as her husband Joe is coming under fire for that 10th anniversary celebration, in which he bought her a diamond and flew her around in a private helicopter on TV, Giudice isn’t letting it get to her.

“All I can do is rise above it, keep my head high, and know that at the end of the day, I have my family, my health, and I’m in God’s hands,” she writes. “Nothing else matters, certainly not a lamp.”

DMX (Getty Images)Rapper DMX has turned himself into the Los Angeles Metropolitan Court today, ready to serve his 90 day jail sentence for a 2002 reckless driving charge.

"What's going on today is that I'm going to turn myself in," said DMX, in an interview taped shortly before he surrended to authorities. "Me and my crew, we came to the conclusion that would be best. It was something that happened years ago, a driving in infraction."

The 39-year-old platinum-selling artist (real name: Earl Simmons) has seen his fair share of legal troubles in the past decade, serving time in Arizona after violating his parole by failing a drug test.

Now, however, he says that he's found a higher power. "My relationship with God has gotten so much stronger," said DMX. "He's always had his hand on me. He always guided me. I didn't always go where he wanted me to go. But he always had me. Now that I'm actually listening and being obedient, life is so much better."

Note to Justin Bieber: if you want to escape from your rabid, flesh-eating (we’re assuming they would devour your tattooed flesh if they ever got ahold of you) fan base waiting for you outside your concert, you might want to use those colorful kicks of yours instead of trying to outrun them on a Segway. Serena Williams didn’t let a foot injury stop her from being there for her newly single BFF Christina Milian, who has finally taken her wedding ring off. The pair was spotted hanging out in Beverly Hills last night (Mon. Jul 26) as they exited Madeo restaurant following their “girl’s night out” dinner at the Los Angeles eatery.

Christina (who looks SMOKING HOT by the way!) is going through her divorce from producer/singer The Dream while Serena is dealing with her break-up from rapper Common, so we’re sure both of the ladies had a lot to talk about as they enjoyed their meal.

The actress reportedly needed a huge entourage to help out at Chateau Miraval, the French property she rented in 2008, including medical professionals, security guards and nannies.

Author Andrew Morton writes in his new book Angelina: An Unauthorized Biography: "The house was filled with nannies from Vietnam, the Congo, and the US; four nurses, a doctor on permanent call; two personal assistants; a cook; a maid; two cleaners; a busboy; four bodyguards, and six French former army guards patrolling the grounds."

Although the writer alleges Angelina barely saw her mother Marcheline Bertrand in her very early years, he believes the brunette beauty developed most of her parenting techniques from the way she was brought up.

He explains: "Marcheline separated herself from that child (Angelina) because she looked a lot like her husband Jon Voight.

"Angie based her child-rearing methods on what she could remember -- or what she told herself -- about her mother's skills.

"Like Marcheline, when the children behaved themselves, she gave them sticker stars that they could later exchange for treats."

Angelina's mother and father, actor Jon Voight, split up in 1976 and the actress and her brother were then raised by Marcheline. 

Wyclef Jean has been Haiti's most visible ambassador since the island nation was ravaged by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake in January. Now it looks like the hip-hop star who rose to fame with the Fugees is thinking about helping out his homeland in a more direct way -- by becoming its president.

(Getty Images)With elections nearing, current President Rene Preval is not able to seek reelection after serving two terms, possibly opening the door for Wyclef to enter the race. In a statement released Tuesday and signed by "The Jean Family," Wyclef refrains from saying whether or not he'll be seeking the office, but he sure sounds like he's thinking about it.

The statement reads: "Wyclef's commitment to his homeland and its youth is boundless, and he will remain its greatest supporter regardless of whether he is part of the government moving forward ... If and when a decision is made, media will be alerted immediately."

Wyclef, 37, was born near Port-au-Prince in Haiti, but grew up in Brooklyn, New York, after moving there as a child. His Yele charity raised millions for Haitian earthquake victims earlier this year, but became the subject of controversy after the Smoking Gun revealed that Wyclef himself had been paid $100,000 by the organization for a charity performance.

Now that she’s topped the Billboard charts with seven No. 1 singles, Rihanna has set her eye on conquering the box office charts with her feature film debut.


The singer will star in Universal’s Battleship alongside Taylor Kitsch (“Friday Night Lights”) and Alexander Skarsgard (“True Blood”), reports Variety. The live-action movie, directed by Hancock’s Peter Berg, is based on Hasbro’s naval combat board game.

Universal has set a May 25, 2012, release date for Battleship, which takes place in the sea, in the sky, and on land in a battle to save the planet against a superior force. Kitsch stars as a naval officer who leads the fight, while Skarsgard will play his brother. Shooting is set to begin soon in Hawaii.

Rihanna previously played herself in the 2006 teen flick Bring It On: All or Nothing. Her “SNL” skit with funnyman Andy Samberg is nominated for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics at the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards.

The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith has donned several highly unique ensembles over the course of the family's promotional tour for The Karate Kid—and it was only a matter of time until the world began to take note.

Over the weekend, photographers spotted the youngest of the Smith clan posing for professional photos at Paris' Trocadero Metro Station. Willow's look, consisting of jean shorts, a black blouse and flat leather boots, was a little more put-together than the wild outfits she's been donning on the red carpet. But the nine-year-old did sport a one-of-a-kind finishing touch: Her right ear was painted silver.

Kid Cudi performed new tracks from his upcoming album Man Of The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager at New York’s BAPE, and although that might seem like an odd venue for a mini-show, Cudi has some close ties to the designer retail chain—he worked there for a period of his pre-fame life. MICHELLE WILLIAMS got pretty in pink for a worthy cause. She joined Cancer 4 a Cause campaign to help raise awareness about the disease. She is among a host of celebrities who feature in the campaign – which is designed to raise funds and awareness of the disease via the music industry.

Britney Spears (Bauer Griffin)Rumors have claimed Britney Spears and her man Jason Trawick are on the rocks, but their weekend activities would suggest otherwise. According to People.com, the twosome went out to dinner Saturday night in Los Angeles with Trawick's parents.

The double date took place at the Olive Kitchen + Bar at the Grafton on Sunset Hotel, where the group sat down for an early-bird special at 5:30 pm. They ate meatballs and pizza, and everyone seemed totally at home, an onlooker said.

"She seemed to fit in very well with his family," said the source. "She seemed very comfortable. She was very warm to them.

"Britney and Jason were really affectionate, but at the same time very respectful."

When tabloids aren't claiming Trawick and Spears are heading for a split, they usually insist and engagement is on the horizon. Still, Brit's team has said any wedding talk is totally "false," so these kids are likely just enjoying being a low-key couple for now. 

Rihanna better watch her designer-draped back. Pint-sized fashionista Willow Smith is quickly making her mark on the fashion world with her daring style, and has plans to start her own clothing line.

Smith, who shares the same stylist as Rihanna, admires the elder star’s bold look. “Willow is definitely inspired by Rihanna’s style,” stylist Mariel Haenn tells HollywoodLife.com. “We make an effort to give Willow her own style, so as not to be a mini-version of Rihanna, but Willow really knows what she likes and what she doesn’t like, and she’s vocal about it.”

Her mother Jada Pinkett Smith wants to make sure her kids stand out from the crowd. “Jada said upfront that she didn’t want us to dress them like standard kids, like with Sesame Street T-shirts,” says Haenn. “And the kids really like dressing as adults and hope that adults will want to dress like them. But Jada will put her foot down if there’s something she doesn’t like, though if the kids really love it, she’ll usually let it pass.”

There are already talks of a clothing line for Will Smith’s nine-year-old daughter and her actor brother Jaden Smith. “With Rihanna, pretty soon after she came on the scene, you started seeing designers from Forever 21 to Gucci coming out with styles mimicking her look. We hope the same thing happens here, but I think the ultimate goal is for Willow and Jaden to have their own line.”

Big news coming from Comic-Con this weekend: Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo have been confirmed as cast members of the upcoming superhero flick Captain America: The First Avenger. The big announcement detailed that Renner will play Hawkeye, while Ruffalo will play The Hulk. Yes!

When The-Dream filed for divorce from Christina Milian in February, it came as a surprise to his wife, who was nine days away from giving birth to the couple’s daughter. Now Milian is asking a judge to throw out the divorce papers.


According to TMZ, the “Dip It Low” singer claims that the father of her child not only lied about the status of their relationship, but also cheated on her.

Despite The-Dream publicly announcing the end of their marriage, Milian insists it was quite the contrary and that the two even had “marital relations on numerous occasions” after the paperwork was filed.

If the court does grant the divorce, Milian wants it to be for reasons other than that their marriage was “irretrievably broken,” instead claiming that The-Dream was cheating on her.

In her legal response, filed last week in Georgia, Milian admits that she signed an agreement with The-Dream that waived alimony or ownership rights to each other’s property. However, she maintains that she was in no state to sign such documents because they were brought to her when she was nine months pregnant.

The long-time pals hit up West Hollywood's Voyeur nightclub, joined by a few friends in a cozy corner booth.

The celeb moms appeared to have had a few drinks – there was a bottle of Grey Goose on their table – but kept a low profile. Richie, 28, rocked a sequined blazer and Aguilera, 29, was dressed down in jeans, a white shirt and a fedora-like hat.

Escorted through the back exit, they left the club at about 1 a.m. – just a little past their kiddies's bedtimes!

A series of audio recordings made by Oksana when the actor’s apparent verbal and physical abuse got so bad she feared for her safety have been posted on website RadarOnline.com and it has now been claimed her younger sister Natalie is the person who leaked them.

A source said: “I suspect that if the authorities look at the sister, they'll find a wire transfer or a cheque to her from the website. She and Oksana are very close."

If Natalie is discovered to be the person who leaked the tapes then it could affect Oksana’s custody case with Mel regarding their eight-month-old daughter Lucia, and could result in the Russian singer being found in contempt of court.

It has also been claimed Natalie touted the tapes around a number of other of media outlets before agreeing to sell them to RadarOnline.com.

Another source told The Hollywood Reporter: “All the tabloids said no to the deal because they were asked to purchase the audio tapes before hearing them.”

Mel has been the focus of a number of explosive tapes in recent weeks, including one where he admits to hitting Oksana in January while she was holding their daughter Lucia, who was just two months old.

It has also been alleged Mel pulled a handgun on Oksana following an argument, in which he is believed to have broken her two front teeth and threatened her with a bat.

After only five weeks in stores, Drake’s debut album has gone platinum. To celebrate the achievement, he’s announced dates for another headlining tour.


Thank Me Later has sold over one million copies in the U.S. since its June 15 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Drizzy showed his appreciation for those who supported him. “Thank you to everyone who allowed us to go platinum on a debut album! WOW,” he tweeted.

The Canadian rapper has announced dates for a fall tour. “AT&T Presents The Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour” is scheduled to kick off on September 21 in Miami and travel to major cities, winding down November 4 in Los Angeles. Virginia duo Clipse will serve as the supporting act on the Live Nation production.
