Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo Join 'Avengers' Cast

Big news coming from Comic-Con this weekend: Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo have been confirmed as cast members of the upcoming superhero flick Captain America: The First Avenger. The big announcement detailed that Renner will play Hawkeye, while Ruffalo will play The Hulk. Yes!

We'll have to wait until 2012 to see the finished product, but it sounds like the Joss Whendon flick will be well worth the wait.

Whendon said (via OntheRedCarpet.com): "I do think that I am putting together and extraordinary powerhouse cast and I'm just so excited to be in their presence and I hope they don't kill each other, because that'd be weird."
