Eminem and Rihanna proved to be a potent force on the singles chart. The pair’s collaboration “Love the Way You Lie” dethroned Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This is Eminem’s second No. 1 single from his album Recovery (the first being “Not Afraid”) and fourth overall. It also becomes Rihanna’s seventh No. 1 since her debut in 2006, the most by any artist during that period of time.

Rap Radar has shared the first photo from the Los Angeles set of the video. According to E!’s Marc Malkin, Megan Fox and “Lost’s” Dominic Monaghan play the lead roles in the Joseph Kahn-directed clip. “It gets really intense,” Malkin’s source says about the steamy scenes.
