Singer Beyonce Knowles is inducted into the International Pediatric Hall of Fame at the Children's Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball and Private Concert at American Airlines Arena on October 4, 2008 in Miami, Florida. The singer/actress was the guest of honor at the gala which hoped to raise as much money as possible for the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. With tables costing up to $11,000, Beyonce also took the stage alongside seven-year-old piano prodigy, Ethan Bortnick, who was reportedly playing to show his appreciation for the hospital for treating his younger brother’s heart troubles.

Beyonce was inducted to the center’s Hall of Fame as a reward for all of her generous charity work.
