Heather Morris, star of Glee, and my friend has been named the new brand ambassador for Flirt Cosmetics.
In 2004 the company started a program that paired young stars with the brand. Morris, who plays cheerleader Brittany Pierce on the Fox TV hit show, will act as a continuation of that program. Other ambassadors have included Serena Williams,Vanessa Minnillo, and Mila Kunis.
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily Morris said, "Brittany is the biggest flirt on Glee, so there’s that, not to mention I’m obsessed with Flirt makeup.” Her favorite Flirt lip color is Tootsie.
Julie Howard, senior vice president of global marketing and brand development for BeautyBank said, “Heather is a perfect fit for the Flirt brand. She’s fun, playful, young and talented.”
As part of her role Heather will do in-store appearances and host an online contest to find someone to appear in an online viral video for the brand. The contest is scheduled to kick off in February at the same time All That Lash is introduced. The winner will be announced in April with the release of Luv-a-Licious.
Flirt Cosmetics is available at Kohl’s stores nationwide and online through their e-commerce site.
