Christina Aguilera Earns Three Times as Much as Her Co-Stars on 'The Voice'

Christina Aguilera (PCN)Aguilera had managed to steer clear of reality television for the entirety of her career, and she appeared to be suffering some personal problems in the wake of her divorce. But now it's clear that The Voice presented a financial opportunity that would have been nearly impossible to pass up: $225,000 an episode.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Aguilera earns three times as much as castmates Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee-Lo Green on the NBC show. This could help to explain some of the tension that makes the show so watchable: Aguilera is definitely getting the star treatment. It also explains why she gets so much screen time—NBC probably wants to get its money's worth.
