Beyoncé gives viewers a glimpse into her private life in a new sneak peek for “Beyoncé: Year of 4,” her half-hour special airing tomorrow at 7 p.m. EST on MTV. Watch as the independent woman meets fans, bikes through the countryside, and conducts business. Mr. Carter even makes an appearance alongside his wife.

“It was very risky for me to step out on my own,” explains B. “Being a woman I want to set the example that it’s possible for us to own our own businesses and own our own record labels and sometimes we don’t reach for the stars. Sometimes we are satisfied with what people tell us we’re supposed to be satisfied with. And I’m just not going for it.”
