Sasha Fierce Sampled: Shanice Belts Out Beyonce's 'If I Were A Boy'

There are hundreds of videos popping up on YouTube from Beyonce fans performing their interpretation (or spoof) of her latest single, 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).'
While everyone from cross-dressing Beyonce copycats to plus-sized percolating pretenders offer up a rendition of the high-energy dance video, R&B singer Shanice opted to tackle Mrs. Shawn Carter's melodic ballad, 'If I Were A Boy.'
Check out the 35-year-old 'I Love Your Smile' singer's powerful version of the song in the YouTube clip below.
Considered one of the most underrated singers in the music game, Shanice's last album 'Every Woman Dreams' was released on her own label Imajah Music.
The former child star, who has released five studio albums, once starred on Broadway in 'Les Misérables.'
She also sang the theme song for her husband, actor Flex Alexander's sitcom 'One on One.'
