Whitney Says "Hell To Da Naw"

'Chicago Sun Times' columnist Bill Zwecker reported on Nov. 26 that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown were considering rekindling their relationship.

In the column he wrote: "several sightings of Houston and Brown in recent days -- clearly looking very romantic while dining together -- seem to boost the reliability of what I'm hearing. I'm also hearing that the divorced couple's daughter Bobbi Kristina is eager for her parents to remarry."

I never once believed the story since it was just a few weeks ago that Brown – with his longtime girlfriend/manager Alicia Etheridge – was here in Washington, DC performing with his New Edition members Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant for the 'Heads of State' tour along with Dru Hill and SWV.

Brown and Etheridge, whom he's been dating exclusively since his 14-year marriage to Houston ended, looked very happy, lovingly holding hands and were very affectionate as they moved around backstage at D.A.R. Constitution Hall and later at The Melrose Hotel where they were staying.

Since being with Etheridge, the 39-year-old "King of R&B" has been performing more shows, making more money and has stayed out of trouble with the law more than he has in the last decade.
In addition to solo shows and spot dates with New Edition, Brown has a talent holding deal with the Country Music Channel (CMT), where he's already done two reality shows 'Gone Country' and 'Outsiders Inn.'
It is no secret and has been widely reported before that Houston and Brown often get together for dinners with their 15-year-old daughter, who apparently lives mostly in Atlanta with Houston's brother Gary.

If my personal belief that the report was bogus wasn't enough, now the 'I Will Always Love You' singer's rep Nancy Seltzer has issued a statement on behalf of Houston calling the 'Chicago Sun Times' story "a complete fabrication."
Most recently, the 45-year-old Clive Davis protégé has been romantically linked with R&B singer Ray J.
