Beyoncé - "Schoolin' Life"
Monday, November 10, 2008
In a world where album push backs have become prevalent, I’m pleased to report that rappers Kanye West and Ludacris are pushing their albums up a day.
The albums, originally slated for release on November 25th, will release that Monday, on the 24th. Albums typically drop on Tuesdays in the United States, but Island Def Jam has decided to capitalize on the Thanksgiving shopping weekend by releasing them one day earlier.
Interesting. I haven’t heard of anyone pushing their album up in a long while. The last big album that I can remember that did that was Destiny Fulfilled, Destiny’s Child fourth studio album back in 2004. I had no idea that both albums were releasing the same day - I’m sure that Kanye is expected to debut at #1.
