Some fans are upset to say the least with the new GQ tribute to Michael Jackson. Fans on Michael Jackson messageboards are angry with what the cover suggests, that somehow due to the personal struggles that the singer endured that in some way took away from his talent and the impact that he has had on music, thus making him less cool or uncool. Even Jermaine Dupri has taken to his twitter to voice his displeasure with the tribute saying,

'LIFERS THIS IS HOW THE F----G GQ ARTICAL STARTS /BACK IN THE DAY Before the weirdness claimed his legacy, WOW TRIBUTE MY A--.

The cover reads: 'When Michael was cool.' The article starts off with, 'Back in the day before the weirdness claimed his legacy, Michael Jackson understoof his talent - and what he was willing to do for it - better than we ever have.'
