Kathy Griffin, who just turned 50, stood up fearlessly in front of troops at a San Diego marine base wearing only a camouflage bikini and an ammo belt.
And, boy, did she work for that bod.
Griffin, who was entertaining the troops as host of Sunday's VH1 Divas Salute The Troops at the Miramar Marine base in San Diego, tells DIDNTINVITEME her killer abs didn't come easy.
"First of all, I work a lot," Griffin says. "Running around onstage making fun of celebrities is a workout in itself!"
But it takes a bit more to maintain her figure, she admits.
"Second, I 'werk!' At 50, my body can't handle the junk food or sporadic work outs like when in was younger," she says. "I eat much healthier. I work out with a trainer & hike or jog a few times a week."
