Chris Brown’s publicity campaign just heated up. After “Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts asked the blond singer about his domestic dispute with Rihanna, Breezy reportedly threw a tantrum when the cameras stopped rolling, breaking a window and storming out of the studio shirtless.
The 21-year-old star, who performed “Yeah 3X” on the show, calmly tried to deflect Roberts’ questions by focusing on the music, showing no signs of frustration on-air. According to TMZ, he was so angry following the appearance that he lost control, started screaming loudly, and ended up breaking a window in his dressing room. He was scheduled to do another web-only performance, but blew it off and instead exited the building.
He vented his frustration on Twitter with an errant tweet that he later deleted. “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t,” he wrote, adding a more positive note in its wake. “All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I’m so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!”
Roberts claims that she and her “GMA” staff spoke with Chris prior to the on-air interview and approved “a few questions” about the Rihanna incident. She insists that she did not try to set him up, saying, “I’m pulling for the guy.”
Chris Brown’s fourth album F.A.M.E. arrives in stores today.
