For the final presidential debate, Obama chose a slim purple sheath and bold necklace, while McCain stuck to her favored suit color: a bold red.
Obama spoke at a rally in Washington, D.C., in a striped Narciso Rodriguez dress and jacket, while McCain played up her blonde hair and tan in a perfectly tailored camel pantsuit at a Pennsylvania rally.
Obama spent the Fourth of July meeting supporters in Montana in a plaid Gap sundress, while McCain opted for a crochet shrug and intricate necklace for a rally in Michigan.
Call it rally red! Obama celebrated the Super Tuesday results with husband Barack in a sheath dress and matching crimson jacket, while McCain pumped up the crowd in Pennsylvania in a classic single-breasted suit.
Obama donned a flowing Isabel Toledo and Tom Binns necklace for an N.Y.C. fund-raiser, while McCain was elegant in a sweetheart navy blue gown and signature pearls at a charity dinner.
Both Obama (in J.Crew) and McCain chose sunny shades of yellow for their separate visits to Jay Leno's couch on The Tonight Show.
Both women created major buzz with these convention styles. Obama eschewed a suit for a bold floral Thakoon dress for her husband's address, while McCain brightened up the stage alongside Laura Bush in goldenrod Oscar de la Renta.
Michelle Obama took to the stage at the Democratic National Convention in a sleek turquoise sheath by Chicago favorite Maria Pinto, while Cindy McCain spoke at the Republican convention in a trim turquoise suit.
