Lil Wayne is having the worst week ever. After the leak of his album Rebirth and his appearance in court on attempted gun possession charges earlier this week, the rapper hit another rough patch when he was briefly detained in Falfurrias, Texas, on Friday (Dec. 18) after U.S. Border Patrol officers found marijuana on his two tour buses.

Wayne, born Dwayne Carter Jr., and 11 others were traveling to Laredo, Texas, for a show on Friday night when they were stopped. Officers questioned and released the hip-hop star, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the case was referred to the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the CBP, a drug dog detected the smell of narcotics on one of the buses. Marijuana was reportedly found on the vehicles during a second inspection.

Due to the incident, organizers postponed his show in Laredo on Friday, shortly before doors were to open. It will be rescheduled for a later date.

Lil Wayne is due back in New York State Supreme Court on February 9 to face sentencing for criminal charges. He is expected to serve a year in jail as part of a plea deal.
