The Situation (Mike Sorrentino) has Jersey Shore to thank for his (and his abs') rise to fame, but the reality star says his reign at the boardwalk must come to an end sometime. The 28-year-old hopes to break into the movie biz, and has some other aspirations outside of reality stardom.
The Situation (Getty)"Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in a movie," he said (via Us magazine).
He's not planning to leave the show for another "year or so" while he makes his big break into films, then he'll have to step out of the reality spotlight and let someone else in.
"It's like Michael Jordan," he says. "There's only so long you can keep winning them rings. There's only so long you can rule the reality world."
For now, The Situation is keeping his focus on the fourth season of the hit show and his trip to Italy. "I'm actually gonna get me some Rosetta Stone" to learn Italian, he said. "I got two months to learn it. My name comes from Italy so I've got a little bit of heritage there. Plus, maybe I can get a hometown Italian chick."
