Kelis, who was performing in the T4 On The Beach concert in England rushed out and bought some portable barbecues and began cooking a host of calorific treats, including rib eye steaks, salmon, corn on the cobs, hamburgers and hot dogs. A source said: “Kelis was cooking up a storm backstage. The smell of the steaks on the BBQ was mouth watering. Perhaps Channel 4 should give her a cooking show of her own!”
Kelis (Getty)A host of other artists and backstage fans joined Kelis, whose new single "4th Of July (Fireworks)" is out today, for the food until concerned fire wardens put a halt to the impromptu barbecue after seeing the smoke.
Other acts to perform at T4 On The Beach included Dizee Rascal and Alexandra Burke.
