Serena Williams (Getty)Tennis star Serena Williams has a lot to celebrate. Not only is she the top-ranked women's tennis player in the world, having just taken home the big win at Wimbledon—she's also at ease with her athlete's body.
Williams, who is featured in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar in a sexy white swimsuit, recently confessed that she used to long for a body like that of her big sister, tennis ace Venus Williams. "I was 23 when I realized I wasn't Venus. She's totally different. I'm super curvy. I have big boobs and this massive butt. She's tall and she's like a model and she fits everything."
"I was growing up, wanting to be her, wanting to look like her, and I was always fitting in her clothes, but then one day I couldn't."
Williams has since learned to be proud of her curves: "Since I don't look like every other girl, it takes a while to be okay with that. But different is good."
Williams—who enjoys yoga and Pilates, but never diets—says her best beauty trick lies in her pearly whites. "I think a smile can make your whole body. Models, they look fabulous, but they don't smile and they look so mad. But I like my smile, how it's bright and nice. Good thing my braces worked out."
