Trey Songz serenaded the ladies of “The View” earlier this morning with a rendition of “Can’t Be Friends,” the second single from Passion, Pain & Pleasure. Dressed in a jacket, vest, and tie over black leather pants, Trigga Trey fronted a backing band while hitting the high notes on the sensual jam, chatting afterward about meeting surprise guest Prince backstage.
“It was amazing. They didn’t tell me who I was meeting, [...] and I was kinda shocked a little bit,” said Trey, who clarified who he makes music for. “I just make the songs that the ladies want to hear. I sing for the ladies and I speak for the men.”
