Beyoncé - "Schoolin' Life"
Wednesday, February 11, 2009
Even though it appears that folks like Diddy and Jermaine Dupri are taking a break from throwing parties for the 2009 NBA All Star Weekend, there will be plenty of celebs getting their party on in Phoenix. Most folks are starting off the weekend right on Thursday night partying with Baby Bash (Club Rain), Young Jeezy (Sugar Daddy's), and the start of the NBA All-Star Block Party which is a free event at US Airways Center.
On Friday, Snoop Dogg will be at Club Rain, Jazzy Jeff and Fabolous will be at the W Scottsdale Hotel, Chamillionaire will be partying with the Playboy Playmates at Barcelona Scottsdale and Amare Stoudemire will be throwing a party at his restaurant, Stoudemire's Downtown, to celebrate the launch of his record label, Hypocalypto Records.
Saturday will host parties from Dwyane Wade and Common at the W Scottsdale Hotel, Amare with T.I. and Keri Hilson at Chase Tower, Ludacris at Sugar Daddy's, and Snoop Dogg at Barcelona Scottsdale.
The weekend finally ends on Sunday after the All-Star game with parties at the W Scottsdale Hotel with Talib Kweli, DJ Irie and DJ Solomon, Stoudemire's Downtown with Amare, Jason Richardson and Matt Barnes, Club Rain with Busta Rhymes, and Sugar Daddy's with Jim Jones. Compared to past All-Star Weekends, this one seems a bit low key. Recession perhaps?
