Luckily, according to People.com, both conditions are treatable, and Michaels is determined to get healthy before the finale of Celebrity Apprentice on May 23. His rep said, "As far as I know, Bret will be there unless his doctors tell him otherwise."
If it's up to the doctors, it's still unclear whether he'll be strong enough to appear on the show. Neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Zabramski said, "Without a doubt he is very determined to get healthy and make a 100 percent recovery. Medically speaking it is a fantastic attitude both mentally and physically for him to have.
"However, Bret's brain and body are not quite 100 percent yet, especially with the hole found in his heart."
