Apparently Russell had planned on riding into the ceremony on a horse, surrounded by camels and elephants. No official word (yet) as to if that all really went down, but we wouldn't put it past him!
Katy probably didn't ride in on any animals -- too risky when you're wearing an Elie Saab wedding gown! She was rumored to have several outfits for her big day, from designers Zuhair Murad and Donna Mizani.
The bride and groom and their friends and family arrived in India earlier this week and were treated to a tiger safari yesterday, among other things. The wedding sounded like the most lavish of affairs (check out some pics of the venue below) -- but Russell said in an earlier interview that they didn't really care about anything but each other. He said: "We just love each other and we want to get married in front of our friends and family and keep it very normal. It ain't about selling the pictures, it ain't about doing no pre-nup, it's just a normal thing."
