Chris Brown revealed the artwork for his new thumping dance single “Beautiful People”, but what’s exactly going on here? On the sleeve, the upcoming SNL musical guest poses in a fetal-like position, slipping on a gas mask against a canary yellow background. Because… well, maybe it’s just best to listen to the song instead of trying to analyze Brown’s intentions with this photo shoot. Jump below to jam out to the bombastic dance track.
This is the most straight-up house/electro song we’ve ever heard from Brown. More than likely a smart move rather than attempting to rap again. We like the song, though we don’t see anything inherently “Chris Brown” about this track — it really could have been recorded by anybody with similar results.
What do you think of the perplexing single cover and the poppin’ synth-heavy number?
