Live from New York, it’s Rihanna! The pop princess is set to return to “Saturday Night Live” this month as the musical guest.
Didintinviteme.net has exclusively learned that the “Only Girl (In the World)” hitmaker will take the stage at 30 Rock for the late-night show’s October 30 Halloween episode hosted by “Mad Men’s” Jon Hamm. She will perform material from her fifth album in five years, Loud, arriving two weeks later on November 16.
The Bajan songstress made headlines after her December 2009 appearance on the show, where she acted alongside cast member Andy Samberg in the comedic Digital Short “Shy Ronnie.” The clip earned her co-star an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the song.
Additional musical guests on “SNL” this month include Kanye West on Saturday and Bruno Mars’ debut appearance on October 9. This will mark Rihanna’s second performance on the show.
Rihanna touched down in London town yesterday for photo shoots and a visit to BBC Radio 1 to chat with on-air personality Scott Mills. The fiery-haired singer shared how her fifth album Loud is “the perfect Rihanna album,” avoiding the “generic pop record that Ke$ha or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry could just do,” visiting a female strip club for Katy’s bachelorette party in Las Vegas, a potential collaboration with her BFF, working with the “mysterious” Eminem, and more. Plus, are the engagement rumors true?
Peep her fierce fashions and listen to the full interview below.
